Here's some advice for new players from someone who has made mistakes and yet has overcome them despite it. I'll be giving some build advice regarding the companions you have access to in Act 2 (I've just reached Act 3). I'll probably update this when I find the other companions. Remember that after you unlock the ability to respec your stats, anyone can fulfill any role. This is just for base character stats.

• Lannon

Lannon is very adaptable. Make him whatever you want your charname to be. He'll excel as anything.
I specced him out to be my main mage attacker but ended up with him as my healesummoner. Basically a magic focused bard type with Identify, Monster Lore and Music.
Lannon is a great character to be your party leader with Stealth, Disarm Traps and Awareness and his enhanced vision overworld power but Rycard can also fulfill this role if you want Lannon to play a more support role in the group with weapon enchants and healing magic.
Also, cast Analyze with him.

• Arbo

Arbo has terrible armor but high defense. He dies quickly if overwhelmed but the idea with him is to use his skills to debuff and CC dangerous targets like magic users etc and pick them off. He pairs well with Rycard, especially once Rycard has access to Dirt.
Arbo also has high spirit and can cast spells but can't read tomes, so his spells will come from items instead. Definitely something to consider.

• Merewen

If Lannon is not a spellcaster, Merewen will fill this role due to her 5% mana regen (Ignite FTW). Otherwise she'll function as a paladin/cleric type using Cleanse and Cure to remove negative effects between attacks.
Her skill Protect is very good if you spec her into Reach Weapons and use a Whip and the trait Within Arms Reach to boost her defense. Spec her either into Summoning (Bat Swarm is random but solid , Distraction, Summon Monster etc) or Destruction (Collapse is OP, Crevice pairs well with other spellcasters). Don't forget the Healing book in the chapel like I did lol! She's my backup healer after Lannon. Give her high First Aid.

• Rycard

Rycard is the backstab specialist. Give him a dagger or sword and spec him into Binding for some emergency CC (Ice Block, Web etc) for better control.
Leap lets him intercept foes approaching your mages/archers and Let's Dance and Ehb allows him to reposition to get out or into trouble. He's kinda squishy but does well behind enemy lines if you manage to position him correctly with his skills. Dirt is OP and makes Arbo much more viable.

• Shione

Bard and Archer. Very solid attack, very solid magic. Jack of all trades.
You really can't build Shione wrong. Put him in the backline with War Song and spec into Binding for CC. I use him as my main ranged attacker and CC mage.

• Airendal

Spellcaster and very mobile due to Blink. Amazing magic defense but terrible HP. Dies quickly if caught off guard.
Works well with Destruction and Summoning spells. I usually swap out Arbo mid combat with Airendal if I need more magical firepower. Usually Merewen (or Lannon) is enough though.

• Bhulown

Starts out weak but does well if you give him heavy armor with high Armor.
A great melee companion to compliment Rycard/Arbo or protect Shione/Airendal. Giving him Stunning Blow really makes him shine. Between him, Merewen and Rycard, most fights are trivial because everyone is either stunned, rooted or frozen dead lol.

I'm divorcing my pwBPD. Started in Oct last year. Three kids. The courts require mediation before we can go to trial. This is in 3 weeks. We both have lawyers.
She's 100% obstinate, high conflict, delusional, vindictive, uncompromising, and irrational.
She wants to stay in the house, me to pay the mortgage, me to move out, she also wants to relocate to the other side of the country (not sure how that fits with her house plans). Alternatively she wants me to buy her out of the house and also give her split profits if I sell the house later, and me pay her rent and utilities. She wants full legal custody, full physical custody, alimony (very rare in my state), child support beyond required, half of my future business profits, and all her lawyer fees. Additionally, she falsy accuses me in court off having a drug problem, wants a drug test, accuses me of having an affair, and being an absent father, claims she was the primary caretaker. She waged a massive smear campaign, including influencing the children against me. We're currently in the same house, it's fucking killing me.
Without elaborating on reality, I'll just say that I'm a kick-ass father and the utter and complete bullshit of what she's saying boggles the mind.
I'm expecting a total crash and burn in mediation and am just looking at it as a hurdle to get to court. But I also don't want to be blinded by my disdain and miss an opportunity to make this less painful.
So, has anyone gone through mediation with such a person? Any tips? Pitfalls?

I have been looking at M&A articles in the pharma space over the last couple of days to stay more informed of these activities just in case discussions that Cyrus was having regarding partnerships turned into more of a buyout/merger discussions. You never know !! I prefer partnerships for now; but does not matter what I prefer, it matters what is happening in the board room. Merck paid $10.8 billion for Prometheus's drug that finished a phase 2 study: Prometheus had $7 million in revenue (essentially nothing in the world of pharma revenue).
Quoting the ARTICLE: Their drug, PRA023, if it delivers on its midphase promise, the drug candidate could soften the blow of the initial biosimilar competition and then provide Merck with a series of new growth opportunities as it works to expand the label. Quoting analysts, Prometheus has predicted that the inflammatory bowel disease market will be worth upward of $49 billion by 2030. That opportunity alone could establish PRA023 as a big blockbuster, but, as Prometheus sees things, it is far from the only opportunity. The biotech is already going after systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease, a market it values at $8 billion, and plans to add a fourth indication from a list of diseases worth $150 billion later this year."
Another quote from the article: "The breadth of Prometheus’ list of potential target diseases, which includes rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and other blockbuster indications, is underpinned by evidence that TL1A modulates the location and severity of inflammation and fibrosis. The opportunities have persuaded Merck to offer $200 a share for Prometheus, well above its $114 close last week and the $36 it traded for in December, but the evidence of the role of TL1A has also attracted other drug developers." Some of those indications sound just like Leronlimab's targets, but eventually there is always more than one player participating in these indications. Please note: that Pfizer came running into the acquisition discussions before Merck and there was a run on Prometheus stock price from $36 to whatever it was before Merck entered into the equation. Then it ran to $114 before Merck's offer was accepted at $200 per share.
So Prometheus had a promising mid-phase study in IBD, they probably were not on a 'clinical hold" and did not have to endure a former CEO who was indicted, and Prometheus did not have to deal with a CRO that severely crippled CYDY's progress. I could go on, but you get the point. Cyrus had to do a lot of cleaning up to just get to where we are today on June 2, 2023.
This is part of the reason why the lifting of the clinical hold is so damn important. When the hold is lifted by the FDA, Cyrus and team CYDY's work will have illustrated to the rest of the pharma world that leronlimab is safe and has the met the FDA standards of safety and the FDA standards regarding what the original five documents covered. MGK has the particulars of the five documents somewhere I am sure. But, you all get the point! Once the hold is lifted CYDY has a FDA sanctioned foundation to launch the future trials with. The concern is that trials cost money and we need partners for that or we straight up get bought out.
Why a buyout? CYDY right now has absolutely minimum infrastructure and of course minimum to no funding. Some partnerships require a true collaboration where each party is contributing equally to the process of advancing the drug from development to regulatory approval. In those type of partnerships we have minimal infrastructure support to offer. In that case a buyout might be better, but my preference is a partner that does not need our support at this time. I believe that is why Cyrus laid out the 12-7-22 Investor presentation the way that he did to build more value into CYDY/Leronlimab.
Prometheus was bought for $10.8 Billion with almost nothing for revenue. net income was -$141 million. If some pharma company felt the same about Leronlimab as Merck felt about Prometheus and I used the same buyout number $10.8 billion, CYDY has approximately 915 million shares outstanding. CYDY would get bought out for approximately $11 per share.
$11 per share is not what I was thinking about with CYDY when I first invested and as I continued to hold and dive deeper (over 2 years) I am confident that LL is worth a lot more. Thats why Cyrus's plan is important. He plans on delivering partnerships to fund subsequent trials in Oncology, NASH and HIV to help increase that value of the stock price inherently until such time that CYDY gets an "offer it can not refuse" Say that with Godfather voice!
Everyone has a different stock price exit point and thats fine. if Cyrus goes the partnership route, which I am in favor of, we will have a nice somewhat steady increase in value with each successful partnership announcement and subsequent clinically positive trial outcome. Eventually leading to regulatory approvals. CYDY will achieve those approvals in a more timely/expedient fashion when they announce partnerships. All along that journey the SP will continue to increase and any investor can sell at their exit point along the way up.
To add to the above value, depending on who CYDY partners with, I see the HIV MDR BLA resubmitted. It will be a quicker pathway to Leronlimab's first FDA approval. Does not matter that the indication is in a small market size ($40-$50 million market). Does not matter that there are other competitors participating in that market already. What matters is the partners begin to get LL on Hospital formularies and on insurance reimbursement protocols and it lays the foundation for all other future BLA submissions making it easier and faster to move thru the FDA process, Hospital formulary process and Insurance process. It is the BIGGEST NO BRAINER that CYDY has in front of them.

The Bernina Pass is one of the most stunning rail routes in Europe - and a popular option for people interrailing. Lots of people continue beyond Tirano to Italy - and there are unfortunately 2 separate causes of disruptions on the Milan to Tirano route this summer affecting anyone thinking of doing that.
Firstly pre-planned engineering work has closed the line between between Tirano and Sondrio from 11th June to 10th September 2023 - with that section being replaced by buses.
Secondly on the 19th May 2023 a landslide on a different section of the same line as closed the line between Lierna & Bellano. A replacement bus is running non stop between Lecco and Colico - the reason for using these further out stations is so that the bus can stick to the highway rather than going down the local lakeshore roads. The smaller villages between Lierna & Bellano are being served by a replacement boat service. At the moment there is no public date for how long this will last.
Interrail passes are accepted on all the replacement buses and ferries but if using a mobile pass you may need to add them manually.
If you want to travel this route (the Bernina Pass is stunning!) you will therefore need to:
Get a train from Milan to Lecco. Then a bus from Lecco to Colico. A 2nd train from Colico to Sondrio. Then a 2nd bus from Sondrio to Tirano. (or the reverse in the other direction).
As well as the extra faff this will add about an extra 30-45 minutes heading South (Tirano -> Milan) to the end to/end journey times, and 60+ minutes heading North. Particularly if you are heading North and have a reservation in one of the panoramic carriages rather then using local trains you will need to leave Milan earlier. If have seat reservations beyond Milan that day make sure you will have enough time.

Alternatively there are some other routes from Tirano into Italy to consider - these will likley add just as much extra time (and probably more) but it depends on your specific journey - and might be worth considering if you are mostly after a scenic ride through the alps:
There is a bus from Tirano to Lugano. Unusually this is included in interrail though you need a seat reservation. The bus leaves Tirano at 1420 reaching Lugano at 1730. In the other direction it leaves Lugano at 1000 reaching Tirano at 1300. This bus will show in the Rail Planner app for adding to an electronic pass but you must search to/from "Tirano Stazione Bus" rather than "Tirano". Seat reservations for the bus cannot be bought through the Interrail Reservation Service but can be bought through https://shop.rhb.ch/en/bernina-express by following these steps: https://imgur.com/a/O1O0rNb Note that is is very popular - most June departures are already full. With most July departures only having a handful of seats left.
From Lugano regular trains run to Milan.
Another option is to get the local bus from Tirano to Edolo - these are not included in interrail and you will need to buy a seperate ticket. Buses leave Tirano at 0840, 1040 and 1240 taking 65 minutes. In the other direction buses leave Edolo at 0915, 1115, 1515 and 1715. There is no service on Sunday. You can check times at https://www.busperego.com/en/pdf-timetable (route A061) or on Google Maps. From Edolo trains run approximately every 2 hours to Brescia. Until late July this line is also replaced by buses between Breno and Edolo. However from 30th July direct through trains will largely return. Again check times from Edolo to Brescia at: https://www.trenord.it/en/ - this can be a good option if you are heading more to the North East of Italy (eg Verona, Venice).
Or you could get the ferry from Colico to Como - https://www.comoanditslake.com/timetablenavigation.htm (the current timetable is only valid until 4th June - hopefully a new one will appear imminently) - there are a few departures a day but journey times vary wildly depending on the number of intermediate stops. Once you arrive into Como it is about a 1km walk to the main San Giovanni station for fast trains to Milan - or the smaller Nord Lago station is about a 500m walk. The ferry is not included in interrail and you would still need to get the replacement bus from Tirano to Sondrio.
A final suggestion is to use local bus 811 between Zernez and Mals railway stations. This avoids the Bernina pass but still gives you a nice scenic right through the heart of the alps. More information on the bus is at https://www.postauto.ch/en/leisure-offers/excursion-tips/2022/zernez-mals-nauders-scuol - note that the 0934 and 1134 departures from Zernez require advance booking. As do groups of more than 10 on all departures. This can be made through that link. Times can also be found on Google Maps. The bus is not included in interrail - and nor are the Südtirolmobil trains which serve Mals. Once you reach Meran you can switch to Trenitalia and use your pass. And you can of course get one of the direct Zurich/elsewhere in Switzerland to Milan high speed trains - still scenic but not as much as heading right up into the alps! If you can and have the time I do still strongly think it is worth going over the Bernina pass and not trying to discourage anyone from doing so - more just trying to make sure no one gets an unpleasant surprise.

To be honest I'm unsure of the relevancy of any of the information I've compiled over the past few days, but felt the need to put it out there just in case it can be of any use to anyone. I came here to vent and talk about my current situation. I am a female, 28 years old and I have a 5 month old daughter and I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant. I have been married to my husband for a year. At first, there were no signs of his anger and I didn’t even know he had that side of him. He presented himself as a gentle put together man. Flash forward to a year later and I see a major change. He gets explosive with certain conversations when I bring up his family and our daughter. The last fight we had which made me go to a hotel started when I told him I didn’t feel comfortable having a large amount of people over my home when we have a 5 month old. I asked kindly can they please social distance wear protection. He flipped out on me and stated he would NOT tell his family to wear masks. He slammed his hands on the table and punched the wall with all his might. It looked like he broke his hand. He proceeded to tell me to “F” myself and continued to yell. He then placed all the blame on me saying I’ve been testy lately. Which is true, because I have raging pregnancy hormones. Which I have apologized to him for. I am nervous that this will affect my unborn child and my pregnancy. I also do not want my daughter to be around that violence. I left immediately and went to a hotel for 2 days. She didn’t see any of the fight by the way. It’s still TERRIBLE that he did that when she was in the house. I am shocked at who I married and I am devastated. I do not know what course of action to take next. I completely didn’t see this coming from him. I have suspicion that his job is the route to his anger and I also feel he has trouble with dealing with responsibility and pressures with having a new baby. Someone please help. I have decided that it may be best for him to move back to him parents until we get counseling. Please let me know what you think.

Hi guys!! So I’ve been trying to go the more holistic route minus Allegra to help with MCAS symptoms while I heal/treat root cause, but it is hella uncontrolled and my POTS is now terrible. I am straight suffering. My allergist recommended xolair and says he doesn’t see success with ketotifin or Cromolyn but I feel like I’ve heard of them helping people. To those who take them or have tried it, I’d love to hear some success stories. Has it helped anyone’s POTS symptoms? Did it help with systemic symptoms and reactions to food? I really need some hope, I miss being able to go places and do things :(

I live in Canada and it is getting harder and harder to find companies willing to ship certain products to me.
I know that there are actual reshipping services available, but these all specifically disallow substances and I'm sure that some, if not a lot of them, repackage the items they send out (so the products would be lost and I'd have no recourse and no way of even finding out if my products would be lost without ordering and trying many services, which could be very costly).
So basically I don't feel like I can trust one of these services to reliably reship me the products that I am looking to order.
I am really hoping that I can find someone here who is compassionate enough to help me out without screwing me over. I know it's a risk, but I'm willing to take it. I am willing to fully pay for any shipping costs and I will even compensate you in other ways for helping me (money, drugs, etc). I'm hoping that someone will see that if they can form a consistent long term relationship with me that they will benefit more from this than from taking the short term route and just stealing my drugs.
I use dissociatives medicinally, believe it or not, a low dose has become the only thing that gets me through the days without imploding. I am able to stay at a consistent low dose and I am fine there. The quality of my life is greatly enhanced and I have no real negative side effects.
Lately I have been taken to using ketamine because that's the only thing I can find locally and it is EXPENSIVE. Not only that it does not last in the ways that I need it to. I could take 2.5-5 mg of O-PCE a day (yes, sometimes twice a day) and be golden.
That does not translate well to ketamine in the slightest.
I have exhausted all of my options at this point, so hit me up if you're looking to create a long lasting bond built on money, drugs, and mutual respect.

Last week I posted on suggestmeabook looking to finish someone else's DNF (not sure if it's ok to link it, just see my post history if you want to see it) and promised to post my thoughts here when I was done, so here goes (the gist and a few other things first, then more specific opinions and minor spoilers later, below the gray line...)
The DNF I chose was Defending Jacob by William Landay. It sucked. One star. Maybe two. 😐
I do feel like I gained at least one interesting insight from the experience, however, which is this: I read it in 5 days, which is somewhat faster than my usual pace, and it made me realize something I hadn't before: The more immersed I am in a story, the longer it takes me to read it.
You see, I normally find it very easy to 'suspend my disbelief' and really get into a story, to see it play out in my imagination, acting each character's part, visualizing the environment, etc... And this slows down my 'words per minute' rate, sure -- and I've known that for a long time, and I'm fine with it -- but I now know there's much more to it than just that: I'm also a lot more hesitant to start or continue reading when I know it's going to require a certain amount of my attention and investment, and that slows me down as much if not more than just my WPM rate...
For example, when I'm reading something like The Expanse (which I'm currently in the middle of), each book is (more or less) like a season of television, and each chapter is (again, more or less) like a full episode, where the chapter not only has its own story to tell but it also often has to advance the larger plot by at least an increment or two as well... And with all that going on, it's just that much harder to simply start the next chapter right after the last one, or pick the book up at the end of the day, when I'm maybe just a little to tired/drained to really get back into the whole thing just then...
With Defending Jacob, however, I ended-up getting booted out of the narrative and back into reality a few different times early on (and throughout, see more below), and what I found was that after that point, moving from chapter to chapter or returning to the book after a break was easier than it normally is...
So, basically it's this: I've seen people here talk about "book hangovers", and I've certainly had those, but I now realize that I can also get smaller "chapter hangovers", and while I'm not really willing to sacrifice my vivid imagination for some improvement in my WPM reading speed, I would very much like to find a way to minimize or eliminate these "chapter hangovers" if possible... Because reading slowly but enjoying it is one thing; but preventing myself from reading at all, at least some of the time when I could be reading, is a whole other thing entirely...
Ok, with that said, stop now if you don't want to be further influenced by my opinions of this book, and/or encounter any spoilers...
So, first I'll talk about the writing itself, because I've already alluded to it above... And maybe I'm just being nit-picky, but there were several times when the whole narrative just fell apart for me, causing me to abruptly 'un-suspend my disbelief' as it were, kicking me right out of the story entirely...
My first example, one of several of the most minor and nit-picky offenses:

Wendy said, "Did any of you know Ben?" She meant Ben Rifkin, the murder victim.

Oh? Oh!! Right, yes, thank you narrator! Because by Chapter 3 I had already forgotten absolutely every detail about the murder, the only event that had really taken place up to that point... 🙄 I mean, ok, to be fair, he does follow that up immediately with the following, but still, that line... I just couldn't hardly take anything seriously after that...

They had not known him. Calling him by his first name was just a way of adopting him.

Ok, so, next up is a slightly more defensible example IMO... This is the day of Jacob's arraignment in Chapter 9...

When the clerk called Jacob's case...[he] was ushered in by two court officers from the lockup and made to stand in the middle of the courtroom, in front of the jury box....Jonathan passed through the swinging gate in the bar, laid his briefcase on the defense table, and took a position beside Jacob...to make a point...I am not simply a hired gun doing my professional duty for a distasteful client. I believe in this kid.

Now, as I said above, I tend to imagine scenes very fully and vividly in my head, so in my mind these two, the defendant and his lawyer, are standing shoulder-to-shoulder in a shared, steadfast solidarity, and there is zero indication otherwise until this, only a page or two later:

The suggestion of a sneaky trick pulled Jonathan to his feet.

To his feet? When did he sit down?? When did he decide to abandon this grand united front he had so thoroughly established with his client and go take a load off?? This is only 16 paragraphs later mind you, 6 of which are single lines of dialog, with no scene breaks, and the author even states that the prosecution "recited the facts of the case, already familiar to everyone...with a minimum of embellishment" (emphasis mine)... So you're saying he didn't draw it out? Didn't grandstand? And since everyone was already familiar with the case he simply listed only bullet points without tons of supporting detail, etc? So we're talking minutes here, right, not hours?? Because that's what you led me to believe.
I mean, I know I'm being a bit harsh here, I know! But I can't help that this genuinely threw me for a loop, to the point where I had to re-read back a page or two just to make sure I hadn't zoned-out and missed a bunch of important stuff or whatever...
Alright, anyway, now for my final example we'll jump way ahead to the first day of the trial in Chapter 25... This is easily the most egregious offense, again at least IMO...

In Middlesex County, judges were ostensibly assigned to trials at random. No one actually believed such a lottery existed. The same few judges were assigned high-profile cases over and over...So it came as no surprise that the judge assigned to Jacob's trial was Burton French.

Yeah, no shit it wasn't a surprise: The arraignment judge already said that she had chosen him back in Chapter 9!!

"I'm sending this case out to Judge French for trial," [Judge] Rivera said with finality.

So firstly, saying that it's "no surprise" now when, yeah, it's literally no surprise which judge it was going to be -- regardless of the reason why it's that judge -- is just... it's... guuuuh 🙄
But secondly, where was all this talk about randomness and rotation queues or whatever back in Chapter 9, when the assignment was being made to begin with?! I've never so quickly started flipping back to find wherever I knew something had been said before... I thought I'd had a stroke or there was a glitch in the Matrix or something...
Ok, so that's the end of me harping on the author. Now I want to finish by discussing the story itself a bit, though I don't have much room left (before I hit Reddit's post character limit...)
I find that I only now know what the story was, after the fact. It was actually two stories: The murder thriller is one, and the other is a story about a seemingly empty man who is incapable of any kind of real human connection whatsoever, and the ways that his emptiness destroys himself and his family. I was so not expecting the second one at all, and for most of the book it was so non-obvious that it made the writing seem just godawful, but let me explain...
First, the murder thriller: It was fine, but I knew what the end would look like, in broad strokes, from early on. This isn't a brag; I don't believe I'm getting any smarty-pants points for saying this; it's just true. The clues that the grand jury trial which opens the book probably wasn't about the actual murder but something else, likely after, were just a little too obvious to anyone paying even half attention (and as you can see from all of the above, I'm paying pretty close attention). And it wasn't hard, then, to guess what form(s) the aftermath of the murder trial itself might take...
Secondly, and I'll have to summarize here, because I'm quickly running out of room: For a good long while the characters all seemed pretty devoid of, you know, character, and it was making the book fall rather flat... But I now understand (at least I think I do) retrospectively that that's because the MC Andy Barber (the father) just doesn't give a crap at all about other people, and it's from his POV that you're seeing them all. And if this was intentional, then I do have to give credit where credit is due: While I absolutely think that narrative could have been made more apparent earlier on, to really surface that complete lack of empathy and give better context to his narrator's voice, it was still a good and fairly complex character study, even if I can only see it in hindsight...
FWIW, I'm now three episodes into the TV miniseries, and so far they're sticking real close to the source material... But there was a scene in this last episode where Andy goes to ask his detective buddy for a favor, and this is the exchange:

"I'm asking you as a friend. All I need is his file."
"A Friend?"
"What?"
"Come on man, we work together, it's not like we ever hung out. The first time I set foot in your house was with a warrant."
"Wow. That's... I always thought we were friends; I'm sorry you didn't feel the same way."
"Look, don't get me wrong, you're a good guy, but if this is what you think an actual friendship is, it's you I feel sorry for."

I don't remember this from the book -- and can't find it now -- but it does a great job of cluing you in to Andy's total lack of empathy in a way that I can't remember ever getting from the book... And I wish I'd had it then, so I'd've known it was intentional and not just bad characterization...

I've worked on a variety of ux research teams over the years and I've thrived in tracking down tricky profiles; your juggling enthusiasts that work at taco bell and ride a unicycle to work on wednesdays, but the one general profile that I struggle to track down are those for enterprise level tools. When I worked in video gaming finding level designers was super hard, mostly because of legal would want to approve each potential participant to make sure that we weren't dealing with competitors or violating a service agreement which really made it hard to get any study related to them done in a timely manner. Now I could just reach out to an agency to hunt down folks for me, but the company that I am currently contracting with is hoping to not have to go that route until later large scales studies. I really don't want to have to resort to buying ad space to hit my target demographics, but I feel constrained by my grass roots efforts to post via social media sites like here on Reddit. Anybody got any advice?

Be focused. - Raid time is raid time. Since we are smaller guild this xpac requires a lot more from us. We just ask to keep discord clear on fights other then that chat away. Raid leaders will let you know when we are pulling.

Hey all!
I'm a fairly regular DoorDash customer, but I know nothing about how the driver side of things works. I've never had any complaints, but I do have questions about what is acceptable to drivers -- I have anxiety, haha.

1. The tips the DoorDash app suggests when you make an order, are they a reasonable baseline or are they complete garbage?
2. What factors should be considered when trying to figure out a good tip? Things I thought of are order cost, distance, time of day, day of week/holiday, traffic on route from restaurant to my house (if I even know where the restaurant is) -- is there any other factors that should be considered? What is a good guideline for considering those things?
3. Is there a reasonable "minimum tip" for low-cost orders? I always do a minimum of $5, completely independent of the amounts DoorDash suggests, but I don't know if that is expected/the norm.
4. Does tip amounts differ depending on where you are ordering from, in a low-cost-of-living versus high-cost-of-living place? Just wondering if that is something I should consider when traveling. I currently live in a low-cost-of-living location.
5. Double-dash orders. I have been avoiding them, so I don't know anything about them. Is there an additional tip added when someone makes a double-dash order? If so, what is a normal tip for that?
6. Grocery delivery-type orders -- should tipping for that follow different guidelines from regular restaurant pick-ups? I feel like those types of orders have to be more annoying/time consuming and the tips that DoorDash suggests doesn't make any sense for the work involved, but I don't have a good feel for what is acceptable.
