I have received offers from Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester for CS. I am sure I want to keep Manchester as my firm however I’m a bit conflicted about picking an insurance choice between these 3. (Got rejected by Bristol that was my original insurance). I should also add that I am an international applicant(India).
My main factors for considering a uni would be:

1. Quality of Education
2. Student life and satisfaction
3. The city
4. Job opportunities as I have applied for courses with an industrial year.

Any advice on which uni would fit this criteria would be highly appreciated.

I feel at this stage it might be best if they just took a couple of days off, redid the timetables, and just started over.

Hi everyone. I noticed my anxiety and agoraphobia over the past couple months has gotten worse. I used to maintain decently w cbd here and there, but I find that I'm getting frustrated or my fight or flight is seriously kicking in. People seem to have no situational awareness and I know logically it's a minor thing, but it's something that is really effecting my mental health when I'm out in public.
For context, just shopping in a store the other day. I'm reaching for a can of food and my bf is near me. Suddenly, a middle aged man w a cart barrels through towards me and an employee is inches from me, reaching for items directly below me. I suddenly moved so I wouldn't be touched or run over by this guy w the cart. No 'pardon me' 'excuse me', nothing.
This morning I come to do my laundry at my local laundromat. I usually chat w a little old lady here but she usually gets in my personal space to clean literally crumbs from the floor.
I am putting laundry in and I'm suddenly butt-to-butt with the laundry attendant, a woman comes in w a body bag sized laundry bag and almost hits me w it and I try to back up and the laundry woman is directly behind me, inches behind me, dustpan and broom in hand. I finished loading the laundry and went to my car for a deep breath.
I called my bf to vent and he understands mostly how I feel, but I'm starting to feel like a burden to him. Idk how to cope anymore. I feel like I'm on edge all the time.
Any tips would be amazing. I don't have health insurance so I can't be seen by a doctor anytime soon Thanks for listening

According to ESPN Brasil, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and PSG are monitoring Fulham attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira, who is enjoying a solid season back in the Premier League.
After ten years on the books at Manchester United, Pereira finally left the Red Devils permanently last summer, signing for Fulham on their comeback to the top flight.
And the Brazilian midfielder has fared well in his debut season for Marco Silva’s side, racking up three goals and six assists from 32 matches across all competitions. It has helped Fulham stay in the top half of the Premier League table and remain in the conversation for European football.
And Pereira’s performances have not gone unnoticed with heavyweights such as Atletico Madrid, PSG and Chelsea all taking note of his performances at Craven Cottage.
Atletico Madrid will need to reinforce their midfield next summer as Thomas Lemar and Saul Niguez could be shown the exit doors while Geoffrey Kondogbia’s future is also uncertain after the recent decline in his involvement.
It has given way to links to Celta Vigo starlet Gabri Veiga, who is also a target for Real Madrid. Now, it is being claimed that Andreas Pereira is also on the radars of Diego Simeone’s side.
However, they will have to compete with Chelsea, who could be viewing the former Manchester United star as a replacement for Mason Mount, who appears to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
At the same time, PSG are said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old midfielder as well.
Pereira’s contract with Fulham runs until 2026 with an option for an additional twelve months. So, signing him will likely require a signficant sum. Whether Atletico Madrid are in a position to stump up the cash given their financial problems remains to be seen.

There's never any mention in government for voting on mandatory vacation pay, mandatory parental paid leave that is long enough and enough is paid to where both parents can stay home with their child for longer than a damn week, mandatory healthcare coverage paid by employers, employers no longer being able to just fire you for no damn reason because of the stupid at will policies, better yet just healthcare for all period... Putting term limits on the supreme court justices and us being able to do something about homelessness like mandatory basic housing, mental health services, etc etc. The USA is a dystopian capitalist hellscape and it's only getting worse. You have boomers mainly and the religious right/conservatives who want to keep us where we are and make things even worse, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Marshall Islands should either be made full states with all state benefits, or they should get their damn freedom back. Same with Hawaii in the sense of if they don't want to be part of the USA, since they were taken theough imperialism they should have the right to leave the union if they want.
It's insane to me that our citizens are clearly miserable as fuck.... I mean we have skyrocketing high depression rates, everyone's on pharmaceuticals, psych meds or on booze/illegal drugs. Instead of having a sliding scale based on income fine system, we don't so that way the rich pay off fines and see it as an extra tax and the poor go to prison. Now they're making prisoners make shit for companies and there's quotas to lock up as many people as possible. I mean for fuck sakes, we have to as a society be able to push back somehow. Protests are useless. The right and left can't work together at all nor should they. I really do think the only solution is to split the country in 2. Send the conservatives to go lives in conservative land where it's like the south and moderates/more left leaning people who actually care about the working class should have our own country. The powers that be would never allow it ofc. When the core is rotten the rest is all tainted and that's pretty much the USA's problem. The whole government is rotten and pro corporation and until things seriously change I think we are screwed.
We need to create some sort of massive movement that really catches on and gets people mobilized and we tell the government enough is enough. Corporations and business owners have sucked away our will to live, our individuality, our happiness, etc and we want to run the show. We don't even need managers and bosses. We know how to do the work, maybe keep on managers, the workers can elect on who stays and who goes, they can vote on major company matters and they can vote on wages based on how difficult your job is. As workers we should reap the rewards of our labor. Not some asshole boss or ceo who takes 99% of the cake and gives us crumbs the fight over. The right and conservatives can go live in Gilead and the rest of us can create a better, just and humane society.
I really think it's our only hope at a happy existence.

I booked my return flight a couple of months ago when the game was scheduled for a 3pm kickoff. Now I have a ticket to a 5:30 game and a 9:45 Ryanair flight at an airport 35 miles away. I haven't been to a game at the Emirates before so I don't know how chaotic the atmosphere is when leaving, but would I be completely naive in thinking that there's a chance that, assuming a couple of minutes of overtime after each half, I can get from the Emirates to Highbury & Islington Station by 8, get the Victoria Line to Tottenham Hale and grab the Stansted Express and get to the Airport by 9? Also have never flown out of Stansted before - is 45 minutes to get through security and get to my gate completely unthinkable? How impossible is it to get a taxi from anywhere near the stadium? Would that be any more doable or is traffic as horrendous as one would assume?

So as my tittle said. Well i am planning to travel India soon from canada after 2 years and me and my gf planning to travel lot india so for fun I thought to buy something special for us. So i need advice there will be any problem if i carry there no dick shape or something nudity printed in box. They have inbuilt rechargeable battery with wireless remote. I've become numb to simple pleasures of life as if I have lost my awe and wonder and have forgotten to be grateful. I had an unstable upbringing, always moving around with my mum to reside at her temporary boyfriends houses to stay away from home with dad (who I now feel deeply empathetic towards). I grew up in a third world country, where my mum is from - my dad is a foreigner. My mum knew there wasn't much for me in this small town... (I was the only "white/mixed" kid in school. She has always been free spirited maybe sometimes a bit too much where she isn't really my mum, but more of a friend.. My family were very broke..I remember debt collectors would come knocking on our doors with death threats..She knew I always wanted to live in the country my dad was from..Cleaner environment, public transport, free healthcare and maybe I can make some friends. So we left.. I remember calling my dad on the phone while I was at the airport telling him mum and I weren't coming home.... My mum and I stayed at her sisters tiny unit (my aunt). It was a 2 bedroom, with my aunt and her partner and her two kids. Mum and I would sleep in the same bed on the floor of the kids room until I could get a part-time job and move into a sharehouse (I was 15 at this point) I was enrolled into highscool, would work after work and on weekends just to make ends meet, and was able to get into a sharehouse with my own room. My mum had to go back to her country due to financial and visa issues. And I've been on my own since. I loved making friends, but it was hard for me to accept that the people I met here were born here, or grew up here. And they had family homes, and pets and stable finances and connections. So my friends focus was purely on what they wanted to do and who to be. I never told anyone about how envious I was, it's hard to admit to say I was envious but I was definitely hurt. "Why not me". Friendships became harder to maintain when people wanted to go to the beach or the next party but I was always working just to keep a roof over my head or food on my plate. Or even, send my mum a little bit of money because she couldn't make ends meet back in her country... At 17, I was introduced to drugs. And I lost control. It took away all my stresses, I felt free.. Eventually the escape was all I wanted.. I stopped going to school. I stopped going to work.. I got evicted.. I couch surfed at a few peoples places that did drugs..I started stealing for clothes..and for coins I would find to buy more drugs because I couldn't come to terms with how my life was heading. Then, I took 2CI - a synthetic LSD with a group of people I didn't really know. I went into psychosis.. And couldn't come out of it.. I would get emails from my mum and dad asking whats happening where am I why am I not responding. My aunt must have called the police on me, as they rocked up to my friends place looking for me. I ignored it all. Finally I reached out and said..I need help, I need to come home. And dear god, there must be something out there protecting me or the mind can work in really mysterious ways. I managed to get on a flight back home with borrowed money. I was exteremly underweight and didnt have nice clothes. My mum was horrified. My mind eventually couldn't come to terms with how everything has turned out and I lost it.. I remember waking up in hospital and asking what the date was.. 3 months had passed. I was diagnosed of schizrophrenia, bipolar 2, psychosis

Hi everyone.
My family (3 adults, 2 kids) will be in the USA for all of April to visit family. We will be based in the mid-west but we would like to do a 1 week excursion for a break and to experience something new.
Originally we had planned to go to Florida. Get an Air BnB with a pool and enjoy some sun, beaches and possibly a theme park. But we are finding the number of possibilities and the number of differing opinions a little overwhelming!
That’s left us wondering, is there other destinations around the states that we should consider as alternatives?
So I guess we are looking for suggestions on places to go. The criteria would be a max 3-4hr direct flight from Chicago. Preferably somewhere warm and kid friendly (kids are 6 and 2)
