Dodge 318 distributor wiring
I have a Chevy V6 2.8L with a Carburetor in an 86 Celebrity and it starts up great, but will die off shortly after starting unless I keep the gas pedal pressed in a little bit. Once I start driving it idles, kinda roughly, but it does, like at stop lights and such.

I got this car for $300. It runs and drives great, it’s just when I start it up it won’t idle unless the gas pedal is held down. Then when I start off down the road and come to a stop light or stop sign the car will idle just fine.
The car sat for about 2 years, and was started up several times during that time. I don’t know exactly how much it was started just that it definitely was at least 6 times. I know the gas is at least 2.5 years old as well. Not sure what it could be. Maybe the carburetor? Should I just run this old gas out and then fill it with fresh? Or just top off the tank with fresh and run that out? I’ve never had a car this old and I’ve never had one with a carb or that has sat as long as this one did.
I swapped out the thermostat, new battery, alternator and starter but I’ve not done anything to the carb yet nor have I changed the plugs, the wires, distributor or the ignition coil yet. I haven’t changed the plugs/wires/coil/dist yet because it starts up with no problem whatsoever.
Let me know what you guys think and if you need anymore information I’ll give it to you. I’m thinking it may be the carb idk when it was last tuned/replaced/cleaned.

Hey everyone I have an 84 944 and it’s been running fantastically other than an occasional no start from time to time but I chalked it up to it just being moody as eventually if you let it sit for 5-10 minutes it would start right up. Recently it started giving me more trouble though such as misfiring and having a rough start black smoke coming out the back un burnt fuel and such. It did this maybe 2-3 times and would run fine most of the time other than that until this past weekend I went to go get it out of storage and it started up ran well for a few then started misfiring and died. I noticed my DME relay was hot so I swapped one in and it started right up and made it home. Checked the relay it was hot again. Tried starting it the next morning it idled rough and had black smoke come out of the exhaust was definitely misfiring then died. Started it again then lighter smoke came out and un burnt fuel smell still rough idle foot to the floor wouldn’t get it over 2k rpm. Tried to drive it back into the driveway at incline and it died. Now it won’t start whatsoever. Any ideas on where to start? Car has new fuel pump/filter new distributor, wires, plugs, injectors recent timing belt, water pump and battery. Recently had some on and off belt squeaking which I’d traced to the alternator. Tried starting with airbox removed made minimal difference. I recently let it run to near empty and added fuel system cleaner at last fill up and shortly after that all these problems started. Any input is appreciated.

Robbie Reyes is the latest in a long line of Ghost Riders, but one thing makes him very different. Typically, a potential Ghost Rider makes a deal with the devil and as a result, they are bound to a Spirit of Vengeance and become a Ghost Rider. That's not the case with Robbie Reyes.
In order to help feed himself and his disabled kid brother Gabe, Robbie competed in an illegal street race in Hillrock Heights, CA. Unfortunately, the race was busted up by the cops and Robbie found himself chased down. He gave up, expecting to be arrested, but was instead gunned down by the mercenaries that were actually responsible for the bust. That would have been the end of the story were it not for the spirit of Eli Morrow, Robbie's uncle and a deranged, Satan-worshipping serial killer. Eli had been haunting the car, and when Robbie died Eli possessed his body and brought him back to life, complete with new Ghost-Rider-adjacent powers indicative of Eli's connection with Hell. Robbie's willpower and good nature battled with Eli's bloodlust and unhinged personality for quite some time, making it difficult for Robbie to act as a Ghost Rider.
Later on, Robbie found himself embroiled in a conflict between a thrown-together group of Avengers and Loki commanding a bunch of nigh-unstoppable Celestials. Despite feeling way out of his league, Robbie fought alongside Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and others to defeat them, and ended up being the newest (and youngest) member of the reformed Avengers.
During his time with the Avengers, Robbie felt as though Eli had left him at some point (and in fact, he had recently gotten a proper Spirit of Vengeance as a replacement), but before he could get a handle on his powers, Robbie was corrupted by minions of the Shadow Colonel and was used as a pawn against the Avengers, during which time Robbie was trapped in his own personal hell inside his mind. While trapped there, he called out to anyone to help him escape, which drew the attention of Johnny Blaze, the newest King of Hell. After racing and defeating Blaze for the possession of Robbie's Spirit of Vengeance, Robbie accepted his role as a proper Ghost Rider and remains with the Avengers to this day.
Not bad for a street kid from East LA.

General Feats & Abilities
A note on lethality: early on, Robbie doesn't fight to kill anyone, usually opting to restrain or incap them and call the cops instead. He finds it difficult to resist the urge especially with Eli tempting him, however, and soon makes a deal with Eli that he'll kill the wicked to sate Eli's bloodlust, but only the truly wicked.

Robbie has good durability, but so far doesn't appear to possess the regeneration that other Ghost Riders have. When he first got shot to death and was healed by Eli Morrow his wounds vanished, but that was a one-time thing and Robbie wouldn't have been resurrected twice.

Miscellaneous Feats
Like most other Ghost Riders, Robbie transforms his vehicle (often in an explosion of hellfire) into a powered-up Ghost Rider version of itself. Unlike most other Ghost Riders who prefer motorcycles, Robbie drives some good old fashioned American Muscle.
- Chulk describes the car as going up to 6000 horsepower
- Here's a couple videos on how horsepower works (it helps determine how much force the Hell Charger can output and how fast it can go): 1, 2. For reference, most Formula 1 cars hit around 750 horsepower, most Nascar cars are typically in the 800-900 horsepower range, and the Koenigsegg Jesko which can reach around 300 mph (482 km/h) has about 1600 horsepower at its best. At the high end, Top Fuel drag racers can wield up to 11,000 horsepower in a few brief seconds of acceleration.
- Amadeus is known for doing mathematical calculations of pretty much everything, so he's a fairly reliable character for this.

But the player's thirst for power grew strong, And they decided Toriel would not live long. Her magic and fire, no match at last, The player's blade pierced her heart, ever so fast.
With a heart of stone and knife in hand, The player wandered through Papyrus' land. His puzzles and traps, no match at all, For the player's determination did them enthrall.
It's a dark day in Snowdin, The players killing spree must begin, Papyrus the jolly skeleton stands in the way, But the player won't stop until all life fades away

2023.03.21 02:08 d15c0nn3ctxx Installing a double din stereo to my truck. Unit is not turning on. Help!
I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota and I am installing a double din stereo ( DMCPA70BT) to the vehicle.
The unit came with a harness to adapt the vehicles current plug to the new stereo.
Black wire (ground) is properly connected to black wire.
Red wire (ignition) is properly connected to red wire.
Yellow wire (battery) is properly connected to yellow wire.
I plugged my stock stereo back up, and it was working normally. I used a multimeter on the yellow wire and it's pulling 14 volts. I'm assuming it's not receiving any power to the stereo as nothing on the unit is lit while plugged in.
I really don't want to think that it's a faulty unit, and I want to exhaust all of my options before returning the item. Any ideas?

2023.03.21 01:25 TheBananaSoda Modine Heater: Monday Morning Brain Teaser!
Hi all!
I really can't figure this one out.
I've installed a Brand new Modine Hot Dawg 60k btu unit in a 4 car garage. Installation went smooth, no damage on the unit or box. 40 minutes, and it was hung and connected. I'm told the electrician will take care of wiring the thermostat later that day, and I'm on my way. Great way to end it, right?
Then I get a call to return to the site. The boss says the unit will not power on at all. It was assumed DOA from the distributor by the contractor I did the work for. Hence, a nice phone call to start the day.
(This is in a garage; a new addition to the house, and the area is still being finished.)
When I showed up to the site, I found the contractor's electrician wired the unit to temp construction 60 Degree F thermostat. The 3amp fuse inside the unit blew, probably right after they plugged the unit in. I diagnosed fault in the newly purchased temp thermostat by jumping out R and W at the unit's board. Then, wanting to just get out of there, I switched the thermostat to the basic ass pure pro non-programmable thermostat with battery. Replaced 3amp fuse. No more issues with unit, it fires right up and new tstat will satisfy accordingly.
I tested the electricians newly run tstat wire for faults and found none. Stayed on site for an hour watching the unit blast out heat, and satisfy. Then I'd open the door. Rinse and repeat a few times.
If you can figure it out, thanks! I simply cant wrap my head around it, and it's really been buggin me.
TL:DR - What could have caused the boards 3amp fuse to pop using a "IO HVAC CONTROLS Thermostat, 60 Degrees F, Heating, 24V" and wiring it to a "Modine Hot Dawg HD-60AS0111FBAN " ?

I have a 2006 Dodge Sprinter. Removed all the wires and the two bolts (I've double and triple checked from other people replacing the starter in the same model) required from the housing, but it won't so much as shift as much as I try to tug, pull, and wiggle it out of place.
Any ideas I might try to loosen it up and get it off? A penetrant and let it sit for a while maybe? I have the replacement in hand ready to go. I just want to make sure there aren't any other issues I could be missing.

Welp... It's gonna be a three parter, since I went over the 40 000 characters limit...
Day 1:
Marie-Ange went to sleep immediately, while Gaia screamed at Julien. How dared he attack the Capitol ! Doing so ruined his chances at any sponsor or support. The boy did not seem to care, surrounding himself in an icy silence while his mentor gave up on scolding him and started giving phone calls. She did so for the entire night.
In the morning, no one was able to eat breakfast. They didn’t talk, didn’t make eye contact, until it was time to go to the holding rooms. Pavel Demigloss accompanied Julien. He stayed back, probably afraid that the boy would attack him if he said anything. Julien put on a short-sleeved white shirt, linen shorts and tan espadrilles. He was as pale as his shirt, every muscle tensed as he climbed into the launching tube. Pavel risked a soft “good luck” before running out of the room.
Gaia and Marie-Ange cried. A lot. The mentor had to convince her to put on her clothes, which she helped with, and then to climb into the tube. Marie-Ange tried to fight and run away. A pair of peacekeepers had to intervene in order to help Gaia maintain her into the glass cylinder. She almost collapsed when her podium started to rise.
In Annie and Reef’s apartment, the preparations were quickly finished. They had gone to sleep immediately the past night, in order to be full of energy on the first day. Tavali Landow accompanied Reef. She criticized his unkempt appearance, which didn’t bother him. He took a deep breath before entering the tube that would send him to a certain death. The stylist waved at him cheerfully.
Annie, once dressed, approached her mentor. She gave Oleander a neatly folded piece of paper. “Could you please find a way to give this to Marley ? The address is on it”. At first, Oleander was shocked. Never had a tribute tried to communicate to the outside world before. She nodded, but then changed her mind. “You know what ? I’ll keep it safe, so that when you come back you can give it to her yourself.” Annie burst into tears and hugged Oleander very tightly. She thanked her mentor before climbing into the glass tube. Her eyes were puffy and red, but her jaw was set in a determined scowl.
Julien stood straight as an arrow as he was lifted into the arena. It took him a little time to adjust to the blinding sun. Once he was used to the light, he looked around. The cornucopia clearing wasn’t one. It was a sort of plaza, paved in beige stone. Julien stood on the northwestern side of the ring of podiums. Behind him was an open gate leading to some sort of main road, and in front of him, to the South, was the front entrance of a luxurious hotel.
The cameras lifted up as Head Gamemaker Jahani Vishwa greeted the tributes and began the countdown. This year, the arena was an island, inspired from the Mediterranean Sea. On the Southern side was a huge hotel complex, with many rooms, a restaurant, pools, gardens, and even a whole spa. The Northern side was occupied by a small village for the employees of the complex. Linking each side was a narrower part of the island, with gift shops and restaurants. All of this stood on a plateau, as the terrain turned into steep cliffs dropping into the water. There was a single beach, with a treacherous path leading down to it.
As Urania was describing the rocky cliffs of the island, an explosion sounded. The cameras turned back to the cornucopia clearing. It was Galax (5). He’d been standing on the edge of his podium, and a single sneeze was necessary for him to fall off of it. The landmines placed around each podium to prevent the tributes from getting a head start worked incredibly well and Galax was pulverized.
Marie-Ange had been staring at the cornucopia, which had taken the form of a sumptuous golden fountain in the shape of President Crane. She held a spear in one hand and stood on top of a literal cornucopia overflowing with supplies. Most of the weapons sat in there or in the empty basin, but some less interesting things (water, bland food, scraps of fabric,…) were strewn about the plaza. When the explosion happened, Marie-Ange screamed. The droplets of blood that splattered around her made her feel queasy.
Reef stood on the Western podium, between Freya (2) and Edna (8). He looked for his allies in the circle. Once he found them, Galax was dead, and the countdown was at ten. He followed Annie’s glances to the entrance of the hotel. From the tribute’s perspective, it didn’t look that big. The viewers could see that the other floors were carved down into the island, creating terraces on the opposite side of the entrance. However, he agreed with his district partner. He signaled to Heath (12) that they were planning on entering the building.
Annie signaled their plan to Brandy (12), who stood two platforms away. Between them was Templar (1), focused on the cornucopia. Annie became pale, now realizing that Chevron (8) was on the other side of her. In her back, the door of the resort beckoned to her. As the countdown reached zero, she readied herself. She eyed a big backpack laying against the edge of the fountain.
As soon as the countdown ended, Julien flew to the center of the cornucopia. He was joined by Faunus on the way. The two boys knew what they needed to get. As Julien bent down to grab a bow and a quiver of arrows, one of Filigree’s knives hit Faunus in the neck. Julien picked up the collapsed boy’s supplies and joined Freya (2), who was already getting ready to leave. There were too many strong tributes, some even with a grudge, fighting in the clearing for now.
Marie-Ange ran for the bag she had spotted. Her path crossed with Dakota’s, who eyed her with a devious smile. Fortunately for her, Chevron (8) tackled the other boy to the ground. The girl didn’t stay long enough to watch who killed who (Chevron won) and made her way to the backpack. She grabbed it without looking inside and went the other way. Instead of choosing the front door, Marie-Ange went to the side and climbed into one of the open windows. She ran through the maze of corridors.
Annie ran to the center, Brandy at her side. She saw Dakota falling, then Deezer (3) being impaled by Templar (1). She felt sick but kept on running, picking up useful supplies here and there. Reef and Heath (12) ran their way, holding weapons and packs. They decided to leave as soon as possible. Annie caught Filigree (1) approaching from the corner of her eye. Just as she turned, she felt something yank at her back. She almost lost her balance when Harvey (11) tried again. He took out a knife.
As the fighting started to die down, Freya (2) and Julien made their way East, through the terraced gardens. Down the heavy slope was a jetty with a small motorboat. The wiry silhouette of Planche (7) stood there, trying to detach the heavy ropes tying it to the dock. No words were needed, the two tributes knew what they had to do.
Annie and Harvey stood a few feet from each other now. He approached but she kicked him in the chest. He fell backwards, as did she. However, she just hurt her back on the warm stone. Harvey, on the other hand, broke his neck on the ledge of the fountain. Without further ado, the four allies ran to the hotel. They were afraid someone had followed them, but the pair from 1 had deemed the other alliance, composed of Edna (8), Chevron (8), Cornelia (9), Shepherd (10) and Chica (10), a more important threat.
After half an hour, the 5 cannons of the bloodbath sounded. With 21 tributes still in the competition, Marie-Ange didn’t feel relaxed in the least. She tried every door, but most of them were closed. The keys were still in the lobby, all hanging behind the welcome desk.
Marie-Ange stayed on her guards. The grey carpet muffled every sound, but she heard someone coming her way. It was Virginia (6), who was in the middle of a withdrawal episode. Her head was bent at an angle and her walk was jittery. From behind a big vase, the girl from N could see she was holding an axe. There was no other issue than the other side of the corridor.
Marie-Ange waited until the other girl was walking past her, then pushed the vase. It shattered against Virginia, not hurting her, but causing enough surprise for Marie-Ange to get away. She feared the noise had attracted other tributes. She ran, and Virginia followed. Her head start helped a lot. She noticed a door without a key hole, labeled “Laundry”. She entered, thanking “god” for the open door. The room was dark, but she felt a big cart full of towels and linen. She jumped in, buried herself in them, and hoped for the best. Virginia limped past the door and did not come back.
When entering the hotel, Annie, Reef, Heath and Amber had not noticed the room keys. They’d run downstairs. There were other bedrooms, a lounge area, and another set of stairs. A big sign said “restaurant” in neon letters. They went down again. Brandy was the smallest of the group, so she scouted ahead. In the meantime, the other allies shared what they had picked up in the bloodbath. Reef had managed to grab a trident, but they would have to share the two other knives. They also had a bow, but no arrows. There were also general supplies, such as wiring kits, med packs and towels. Annie wondered why there wasn’t any food in the bags, but Brandy stopped her. “Come, quick!” said the girl. She was grinning from ear to ear. The restaurant was empty, but the kitchen was not. There was everything, from vegetables to fresh desserts, along with bread, charcuterie and other “survival” foods. Heath blocked the double doors with a pair of chairs. “Well let’s have lunch !” he exclaimed. Since every appliance worked, Reef and Annie decided to prepare as much food as possible while eating the things most likely to spoil first.
While that little group was feasting, Freya and Julien were ambushed, waiting for their prey. Planche (7) had managed to untie the boat, and she had spent a couple of hours drifting away from the island. During this time, the pair hid in the bushes. They knew she would have to come back eventually. She started to panic when she noticed the faint shimmer of the perimeter closing in on her, and managed to turn on the motor. The boat roared and jumped forward, dropping its passenger in the water. It crashed into the cliff. Planche (7) was a good swimmer. She made it all the way back up to the dock, unaware of the tributes waiting for her there. Julien didn’t wait. He stood up as she was almost there, and it was too late for her to do anything. He shot Planche in the eye, sounding her cannon immediately. Freya clapped him in the back. “Next one is mine, she said. But first we need to rest up.”. Julien acquiesced, and they made their way back up to the cornucopia plaza.
After having eaten all that they could, the 4-12 alliance decided to find a place to camp. They didn’t feel safe inside the hotel. There were not enough exit points. They walked along the pool, admiring the sea view, then headed westward towards the setting sun. They avoided the boxy building housing the spa. That was where the pair from 1 was resting at the moment. There were also a scattering of small villas, each with its own private jacuzzi. As for the rest of the hotel rooms, the doors were locked. Annie was afraid to attract attention if they forced them. Instead, they climbed down the rocky cliff on a narrow path to end up on a beach. It looked almost like a postcard. Since the path was the only way to access that beach, they felt safe enough setting up camp there.
Marie-Ange was much too scared to get out of her linen closet. She drank from the laundry room faucet, and built herself a little nest out of bedsheets behind the cart she’d hidden in. With any luck, no one would see her. In the evening, her stomach started growling. She rummaged through the contents of the shelves, finding a bunch of tiny chocolates, which she deemed enough. Marie-Ange went to sleep shortly after.
Julien and Freya (2) were like peas in a pod, meaning that neither of them spoke unless it was to share pertinent information. The boy found a wisteria climbing up the single floor of the hotel visible from the plaza, and the pair used that to get to the roof. It meant they would be safe and could see a big chunk of the arena. Julien took first watch. At midnight, the portraits of Faunus (2), Deezer (3), Galax (5), Dakota (6), Planche (7) and Harvey (11) were displayed in the starry sky. With 6 tributes gone, there were still 20 left in the arena.
Day 2:
Marie-Ange was one of the first tributes to awaken on the second day. The realization of where she was hit her like a freight train. She suffered from the “day 2 effect”, like many other. Once her tears had stopped, she could hear the gurgling of her stomach. The chocolates would not be enough. She listened at the door, making sure no one was wandering the corridors, before emerging. She walked to the lobby, but saw that Templar was browsing the many room keys. He and Filigree (1) didn’t notice her, so she just took another corridor and exited via an open window. She emerged near the garden, but continued walking north, parallel to the small street.
After an uncomfortable night on the roof of the hotel, Freya and Julien started their day by looking around and spotting the other tributes. Many of them were hidden inside buildings, but they saw Keyra (3) making her way to the docks and Reaper (9) hovering around the heliport on the opposite side of the island. Sometime later, they heard the sounds of conversation right under them. The pair crept to the edge of the roof, hoping to surprise the group that was there, but Julien stepped on a dislodged tile. It shattered on the ground and the chatter stopped abruptly.
Freya and Julien jumped down, but the small group was already running into a corridor. It was the alliance of 8, 9 and 10. The tributes followed them but they entered a room and locked it tight. Julien wanted to kick the door in, but Freya had a better idea. This room, like all the others on this side of the hotel, had a view of the pool, which meant a big window.
It took only a minute for them to go around. Shepherd and Chica (10) were still holding the door just in case, while Cornelia (9), Edna and Chevron (8) stood at the ready with their weapons. When they turned around and screamed, Julien was surprised at the effect he had on them. The window was not even broken yet they looked paralyzed by fear. Then he saw his reflection in the glass. He only had time to jump aside. An enormous tiger collided with the window. It didn’t break, so the beast turned around and attacked the closest target : Freya. It swiped a first time, ripping her sword out of her hand. The second swipe let deep gashes appear on her chest. She looked imploringly at Julien. With one bite, the tiger finished her, sounding her cannon. It was only then that the boy from N released his arrow. It killed the tiger immediately. Julien ran.
Annie, Heath, Brandy and Reef had spent the night on the beach but had not been bothered. They lazed a bit before deciding to explore. The group walked back up to the upper part of the island using the narrow path. It took them about half an hour to get to the top, and they decided to explore the main street with all its little novelty shops. The restaurants were mostly empty. Some tributes had already gone through some of the food, but there was more than enough left. They did not hear the first cannon.
They also picked up other supplies. Brandy grabbed a butcher’s knife and a barbecue fork “just in case”. They raided the pharmacy and covered themselves in sunscreen. Reef and Annie were used to the seaside sun, Brandy and Heath, however, were already turning red. Once they had all that they needed, they sat around inside the “Paradiso Cocktail Bar” and discussed their strategy. Annie wanted to hide for as long as possible. The beach seemed like the perfect place. They could defend it, set traps on the path down. Brandy agreed with her, but Heath and Reef were reluctant. “There’s four of us, said Reef. As long as we stay together, we won’t get attacked.”
In the meantime, Marie-Ange was picking apples. They weren’t that nutritive, but they would be better than chocolate at least. Suddenly, a voice called her : “Marie-Ange ? Is that you ?”. She swiveled around to the face of Berry (11) inside a bush. Actually, she was the bush. Berry went to hug her ally, then remembered that she was covered in branches. Marie-Ange executed a short victory dance and offered an apple to the other girl. “Thanks, but I have better…”. She took her to the back of a bakery. Marie-Ange could recognize the smell. She was about to open the door when the tiger that had just been released inside roared. The girls ran as quickly as they could, even though the beast was stuck inside.
Back in the Capitol, Head Gamemaker Vishwa explained that she had chosen to only release a dozen tigers, but that they would not be gone. Instead, some were stuck in rooms or buildings. They would be a constant threat to the tributes unless they were dealt with. “And if they’re not, added Urania, I was just looking for a nice throw rug…”
Reef and his allies had also dealt with a tiger that appeared out of nowhere. Since they were in a fishing shop at that time, they survived by throwing every net and fishing line available at it until it was too entangled to move. Heath killed it.
Once they were full of supplies, the group decided to try their luck in the hotel’s kitchen again. Maybe it was the fact that they had just defeated a tiger, or the dreaminess of the island that made them imprudent. Either way, they walked straight to the hotel, without paying too much attention to their surroundings. They traversed the cornucopia plaza, which had been emptied of its supplies. Reef led the group as they entered the hotel. He gasped in surprise as a knife pierced his skull. Brandy screamed and grabbed Annie’s arm. They ran as fast they could. As Filigree (1) appeared from behind the door where she was hidden, Templar came out from behind a bush to block the allies’ path. He held a sword at the ready. Brandy used one of the bags to deflect it as the trio collided with the boy from 1. Since they were there, Brandy also decided to plant her meat fork into his chest. He dodged, but the utensil still stabbed him in the shoulder. Annie, Heath and Brandy got back up and stumbled towards the gardens. The pair from 1 hesitated before following them.
Reef’s cannon surprised Julien and almost made him miss his mark. After a fruitless hunt for a tribute, he’d spent some time building traps with some wire he had collected. He fabricated tripwires and snares to disperse around the villas on the southwestern side of the arena. After that, he had climbed onto one of the rooves with his bow. There were still no tributes, but another tiger had appeared, freed by Virginia (6) a little earlier. He shot it once, then a second time in order to kill it. He didn’t bother fetching his arrows. An hour later, as the sun started to set on the island, another cannon sounded.
Annie, Brandy, and Heath eventually managed to lose the pair from 1. Every time they thought they were well hidden, Filigree and Templar’s footsteps came back. They ended up hiding in the pool house behind the cleaning products. They waited for what seemed like an eternity. Annie peeked through one of the vents, but she couldn’t see or hear anything. She was the first to exit the cramped cabin, a knife in one hand and a neon pink pool noodle in the other.
Once she was certain that no one was there, she beckoned the others. They were about to go back down to their camp on the beach when Annie got distracted by colorful lights. The jacuzzi of one of the villas was turned on, and along with the bubbles it displayed a nice show of colors. Brandy was too curious to let it go, and the two others followed. I hope it’s warm, laughed Heath. He plunged hand into the water and started seizing.
Brandy tried to grab his arm, but Annie pulled her away. A cannon sounded. As suddenly as he had started, Heath stopped seizing. The jacuzzi switched off. In the newly obscured backyard, a silhouette ran away. Annie and Brandy didn’t notice, they were too busy trying to reanimate their ally. To no avail. A smoke emanated from his corpse, a smell similar to that of cooked pork.
In the Capitol, the footage was rewound to show Eileen (5) rigging a trap to electrocute any tribute touching the water on her first day. She had waited 24 hours for her first kill, not expecting that there would be survivors. As she ran through the perfectly trimmed bushes, Annie and Brandy mourned their friend and cursed their stupidity.
No one else had bothered Berry and Marie-Ange in their orchard. They spent their afternoon and evening building some sort of nest in the biggest apple tree, using branches, but also tablecloth, beach towels and cushions from the shops. They talked a little more of their life in their respective district. Marie-Ange was surprised that her friend could not choose what job she wanted to do. Berry, however, was totally content working at a canning factory and not in the fields like most citizens of district 11.
Once their nest was built, they climbed inside. It was not very discreet, especially with the multicolored fabric hanging from it, but it would work for that night, thought Marie-Ange. They nestled together and fell asleep almost immediately.
When the last cannon of the day sounded, Annie and Brandy had barricaded themselves in a hotel room. They had picked a random key from the lobby whilst Filigree and Templar were absent. Room 215 had a cozy king size bed, a heavy commode they used to barricade the door, and a view of the sunrise. Meaning right now it was completely dark. The girls bundled up in the bed, Brandy scooting over to rest her head on Annie’s shoulder.
The cannon in question belonged to Cornelia (9), who had fallen victim to a particularly sneaky tiger. Chevron (8) and Shepherd (10) dispatched it quickly, leaving only two surviving tigers in the arena. They were both still locked in rooms of the hotel. From his perch on the roof, Julien saw the little group of them enter the spa. He did not bother to follow, as it was already late. He fell asleep, and the hymn of Panem woke him up. The portraits of the fallen were displayed in the sky, including Freya (2), Reef (4), Cornelia (9) and Heath (12). In the Capitol, the viewers hoped for the next day to be even more challenging for the 16 remaining tributes.
Day 3:
On the third morning, Julien woke up early. He remembered Gaia telling him that the Feast was usually held on this day. He made sure there was no one around before climbing down from the villa whose roof he had slept on and walked to the cornucopia plaza. There was nothing there yet, but he was happy to be the first there. He wouldn’t be alone all day though, so he did the same as on the first day and climbed up to the roof. Since there was only one floor, he was positive he could just jump down in case of emergency. Surely enough, Templar and Filigree appeared soon after. They were in a foul mood after having played hide and seek for an hour with Reaper (9). They had given up.
Marie-Ange was still deeply asleep next to Berry when something woke her up. The tree was shaking slightly. Someone was there. She opened her eyes ,and surely enough, a small silhouette was in the process of detaching her bag from the branches. She lunged, waking Berry in the process. The thief was Keyra (3), who had survived this whole time by following the bigger groups and stealing from their supplies.
Marie-Ange’s first reflex had been to grab at the other girl. Keyra was quick, however, and she managed to dodge. She jumped down from the tree, holding a small bag with the stolen supplies, and ran. Marie-Ange followed, leaving a dumbfounded Berry to guard their base camp. She caught up with Keyra and they fought for the supplies, inching dangerously close to the edge of the cliff. Only the girl from 3 noticed. Once Marie-Ange had her back to the edge, her opponent let go of the bag. She fell backwards and landed a dozen feet lower, impaling herself on a particularly sharp rock. Her cannon only sounded ten minutes later, but the cameras of the Capitol did not show her agony.
Right after the cannon, an announcement by Head Gamemaker Vishwa was broadcast in the arena. “Dear tributes. As you may have guessed, it is time for the Feast. At noon, in the cornucopia, you will each be offered the chance to grab something that might be the key to your victory. May the odds be ever in your favor !”.
Annie and Brandy had overslept in order to get as much energy as possible. When Marie-Ange’s cannon sounded, it woke Annie. Brandy was spooning her, which made her quite uncomfortable. She broke out of the unconscious hug and began preparing herself for the day. Getting a shower and revisiting what weapons the pair had. There were only kitchen knives left, but it would have to do. Annie had to shake Brandy out of her slumber. At that time, noon was approaching, and they worked together to remove the commode whilst making as little noise as possible.
Julien was ready for the start of the Feast. He had hidden his bow on the roof, opting for two long knives instead as it was close quarters combat that was expected. He watched as the other tributes approached, waiting for someone to take the first step. Only Berry (11), who was still searching for her dead ally, Keyra (3) and Virginia (6) who was suffering from an intense bout of fever due to withdrawal, were not present. Some, like the pair from 1 and the outlying alliance, were standing in the open, waiting for anyone to dare attack them. The others, Annie, Brandy (12), Eileen (5), Reaper (9) and Forrest (7), kept low and hid behind various bushes or doors.
As the sun reached its apogee, the statue of President Crane started to rise. Under it, 8 keys hung from small hooks. Each had a room or house number on it, but no mention of any specific district. Julien jumped from his roof and charged into the fray, kickstarting the battle.
Annie and Brandy jumped into the fray too, after concluding a silent alliance with Eileen (5). They didn’t know she was responsible for Heath’s death. The three girls covered each other’s backs, so The pair from 1 concentrated on lone tributes. Reaper (9) received a series of knives to the throat from Filigree (1) and Templar managed to chase Forrest (7) away without a key. The girls reached the statue, which was guarded by Chevron (8) and Edna (8). Brandy distracted them as Annie grabbed a random key. She did not try her luck, instead backing away immediately. The pair from 1 was approaching.
Julien did not feel confident in melee, so he only defended himself. He managed to wound Shepherd (10), avoided Templar’s sword, and grabbed a key for himself. He watched Annie, Brandy and Eileen run away with a key. Chevron (8) followed them and threw his spear. It hit Eileen in the back, paralyzing her. Chevron finished her. The remaining tributes scattered, leaving Filigree and Templar to deal with the three remaining keys.
Annie and Brandy ran without stopping. Their key bore the number 204. The gamemakers had made it so the tributes going to their “rooms” were less likely to encounter each other. Annie noticed that Eileen was not following them, but Brandy exclaimed that they didn’t need a third wheel.
Room 204 sat at the end of the western corridor, two floors down from the lobby. The inside made Brandy giddy, although Annie was a little more suspicious. There were no weapons or useful supplies, just a luxurious buffet of expensive foods. Turkey, cakes, roasts of all sizes and canapés stood on a table, still steaming. Brandy hugged her ally tightly and started eating. There was also a big bottle of champagne. A jeroboam, detailed Urania Whimsiwick, who was a fine connoisseur of wines.
Julien had inherited of villa number 18. It also contained a small meal, much smaller than that of Annie and Brandy, but also some body armor and kneepads. All the keys were actually a form of lottery, some rooms contained food, some weapons, some cosmetics and camouflage supplies.
Julien did not spend much time there. He ate some, put the rest in his bag, put on his armor and went out again. His first stop was the roof, where he got his bow back. He wondered if he would have enough arrows. His stock decreased quickly. He didn’t hope for a sponsor gift, even though he had seen some silver parachutes in the past days. Most had gone to the careers and the outlying alliance.
He decided to go to the Northern part of the island, which had been quite empty of tributes in the past. He almost crossed path with the outlying alliance, but heard them soon enough and dove behind a small building. He readied his arrow, but before he could release, Templar jumped out of another bush and stabbed Chica (10) with his sword, sounding her cannon. Filigree appeared behind him, but her knife only bounced off Edna’s ribs. Shepherd, Chevron, and Edna ran, pursued by the pair from 1. Julien stayed there, sulking. He spent the evening in the same location, alone and angry at himself.
In room 204, things were getting awkward for Annie. She had eaten a little bit of food and was trying to bend one of the silver platters into a functional chest plate. Brandy, however, had sampled the champagne. A lot of it. She was drunk and sulking since Annie had emptied the remains of it in the bathtub. The scene was very entertaining to watch, with Brandy trying desperately to invite her ally in bed. Annie turned her down, her cheeks reddening. The other girl wouldn’t take no for an answer, but soon fell asleep. Annie waited until she was passed out to get in bed, as far away from her as possible.
At midnight, the portraits of Eileen (5), Reaper (9), Chica (10) and Marie-Ange (N) appeared in the sky and on the many screens inside the hotel. This left 12 remaining tributes to start the 4th day.

"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris said over the usual shot of the film lot. "With an appetite for destruction," Heather was shown picking up a dresser, "Heather won invincibility."
"Which was bad news for Lindsay considering that she wasn't in an alliance," Lindsay was shown eating popcorn and yelling in the amphitheater. "However, it was Noah who was sent home," the schemer was shown entering the limo, "since Heather got the power to vote off who she wanted," Heather was shown making her decision.
"Will Heather manage to dodge yet another elimination?" The queen bee was shown sitting on a bottom bunk and crossing her arms with a smug grin. "Will Shawn survive being the only boy against three girls?" The conspiracy nut was shown sitting on a bottom bunk and looking at the camera with an anxious frown.
"All this and more," the shot cut to Chris standing in front of the trailers, "on another thrilling episode of Total! Drama! Action!"

The episode opened on a shot of the inside of the girl's trailer. The door slammed open and Lindsay walked in. "I can't believe how exhausting all that rock-and-rolling was!"
"Well, I can't believe Heather voted Noah off," Courtney said.
"Cry me a river, will you?" Heather scoffed. "At least we won't have to hear his dry quips for a while."
Confessional: Lindsay
"I got really lucky back there," Lindsay said. "I would've been eliminated if Heather didn't get the sole vote. I feel sorry for Noah, but I'm still in the game. If I don't want to be targeted again, I could join Shawn and Courtney's alliance, but there's one obstacle to that."
Confessional Ends
"I'm going to bed," Heather tucked herself in. "I don't want to stay up late."
After watching her fall asleep, Lindsay focused on Courtney. "Do you want to stay up for a bit? We can give each other facials."
"No thanks," Courtney refused.
"How about we do each other's hair?" Lindsay offered. "Paint each other's nails?"
"Or how about we go to sleep now and stop suggesting things to me because I'm not letting you in my alliance," Courtney declared.
Confessional: Lindsay
"It was worth a try," Lindsay said. "Courtney's hard to talk to and she always looks down on me. Doesn't she want Heather out of the game as well?" she looked sad.

The static cut to a shot of Shawn inside his trailer. "Well Shawn, you're the last guy standing," he talked to himself. "It's just you and three girls. One's a high-strung cheetah, the other's a mean bee, and the last is a sweet butterfly."
"I do have the cheetah on my side, and if I was the bee out, I should get the butterfly to vote with us," the conspiracy nut strategized, "just as long as they don't fight with each other."

"Normally I sleep outdoors," Shawn confessed. "But since all the guys are out of the game, I can rest easy inside the trailer knowing that I won't be eaten alive. Privacy is my one value."

"I should go to bed," Shawn said while tucking himself in. "The next challenge may involve fighting, and I want to conserve my energy." The camera focused in on him as the lights went out and he closed her eyes, and the world around him seemed to fade into something brighter and greener.

He awoke with a start to the sound of a large gong. The shot pulled out rapidly, showing that he and the others were all lying in the middle of some woods. Heather and Lindsay were on the left and Courtney and Shawn on the right.
"What?" Lindsay asked in confusion as she woke up.
"Were we kidnapped last night?" Shawn asked in alarm.
Heather narrowed her eyes and sniffed the air. "Great! We're in Camp Wawanakwa!"
A gust of wind blew through the clearing the four were in and the camera panned down just as Chris seemingly floated out of them in lotus position, wearing a white martial arts uniform with a red belt around his waist and a headband emblazoned with a Japanese 'rising sun'.
"No way," Lindsay said, mouth open in shock.
"Cool," Shawn said with a grin.
The host floated past them, and the cast was oblivious to the wires leading up from his back. He stopped somewhere between Courtney and Lindsay, flipped himself into a one-handed handstand, did a few mid-air somersaults, landed on one knee to punch the air a few times, then stood up and bowed; all with his eyes closed.
A gong sounded again, and he opened his eyes and unhooked his harness with a small smile. It 'floated' back the way he'd come from, and Shawn's grin fell. "My 'cool' can be taken back."
"Honorable competitors," Chris announced, completely ignoring him, "welcome to the Total Drama Kung Fu reward challenge. Shot on location here," he motioned to the forest around them, "in the beautiful Japanese woods. "Today, we pit girls against boys."
"But the girls outnumber me three to one," Shawn pointed out.
"Good point Shawn," Chris said. "One of the girls will have to work with Shawn for the first part of the challenge, and it's up to them to to decide."
"Don't even think about it," Heather told Courtney before she could open her mouth. "You've been cooped up with Shawn this season."
"So what if I have?" Courtney argued back. "We've been cooperating as a duo."
"Well I'm not losing to two powerhouses," Heather said.
"Courtney can work with me this time," Lindsay pipes up.
"I second that!" Heather smiled.
"And that's a majority vote," Chris announced to the annoyance of Courtney.
"This is unbelievable," Courtney grumbled.

"Thanks to Lindsay and Heather, my chances of winning are lowered!" Courtney stated. "If we're going to make Heather and Shawn lose, I'm going to push Lindsay to her fullest fighting potential."

"In kung fu movies," Chris explained as he paced between the castmates, "actors train with stunt choreographers before they film their fight scenes. So, today, each team will have a trainer and a fighter. Pick your roles, and train as hard as you can in the kung fu style of your choice." He struck a pose, then adopted an extremely stereotypical east Asian accent for his final remarks. "The battle begins when noble heron flies east."
"Can you make that line make sense?" Heather demanded.
"Four hours," Chris answered bluntly as he hooked his harness back around his waist. "May the best fu win! Excelsior!" A reverb effect was added to his final word, shouted as he ascended into the sky.

"A little heads up," Chef told the viewers, "Chris is bringing Owen to cameo for this episode. His job is to spy on the two teams and pick one to sabotage." The angry cook huffed. "Did you really think Chris would make things easy for anyone?"

The camera panned past Lindsay and Courtney as they shot unsure looks at each other and stopped on Heather and Shawn. "There are a lot of fighting styles to choose from," the theorist said. "I've seen a lot of action movies just to be prepared."
"You can be the fighter!" Heather demanded. "I'll be the trainer."
Confessional: Heather
"I'm not getting my face busted in," Heather talked to the audience. "Shawn can do the job for me. And it's about time he mans up and stops being a coward."

The scene cut to a close up of Shawn as he wiped a rag on the Lame-osine. "Remember," Heather said as the camera panned out to show her lounging on the hood, "not a speck of dirt on that limo." In the bushes, Owen was watching and writing something down on a clipboard.
Chris showed up and walked to the mean girl. "Can you make her wax my car too?" The host asked.
"Definitely," Heather agreed. "Which one's yours?"
The camera pulled out to show an entire parking lot filled with expensive looking cars. "All of them." Chris laughed.

The camera flashed to a close up of Courtney, Lindsay, and a sleeping Chef. Chef was shirtless and Lindsay was holding a can of hair wax.
"That's it. Wax on," Courtney instructed as Lindsay applied the wax onto his chest. "Wax... off!" The paper was pulled off.
The camera cut to a wincing Owen as a cry of pain from Chef was heard. "That's really painful," the big guy commented.

The footage flashed forward to Lindsay doing push-ups and sweating. "Twenty-eight! Twenty-nine! Thirty! Aw, that's it!" Courtney encouraged as the camera zoomed out.
The camera zoomed out some more showing an angry Heather and Shawn. The latter was doing push-ups while the former stood on his back. The queen bee yelled "Put more effort into those push-ups!"
Seeing this, Courtney ran off and returned with a huge rock that she placed on Lindsay's back. She stood on it, causing Lindsay to push-up slower and harder.
"Faster, Lindsay! Faster!" Courtney encouraged the dumb princess. "You're a warrior! You're a destroyer!"
Heather got off Shawn's back and placed a horse onto it. Much to her apathy, Shawn was straining more and more.

A few loons called as the scene cut to Lindsay standing awkwardly on a post on one leg in the middle of the lake.
"Here! Gotta keep your strength up!" Courtney told her as she rowed up in a canoe and gave her a hotdog.
"I'm not hungry, but I'm getting a leg cramp!" Lindsay whined.
"Oh no you're not!" Courtney started massaging Lindsay's leg.

The camera flashed to Shawn sitting next to a picnic table as Heather placed a cloche on it.
"Lunch already?" Shawn asked while taking chopsticks from the girl.
"It's an exercise for your reflexes," Heather said. "You can eat what you catch."
She opened the cloche, but much to her horror, the bees inside immediately swarmed around Shawn.

"How was I supposed to know the bees would swarm?" Heather critiqued. "It was supposed to be like one of Muhammad Ali's lessons. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

The scene cut to Lindsay as she punched a straw dummy that had been strapped to a tree. The camera zoomed out to show Courtney frowning.
"You're not being fierce enough," Courtney told her partner.
Lindsay moaned. "What do you think I should do?"
"Pretend it's someone you hate," Courtney advised.
The viewpoint shifted to show the dummy head-on, and with a ripple effect it changed into the image of Heather. The shot returned to normal to show Lindsay deliver a fierce flying punch that snapped both the dummy and tree in half.
The camera cut to Owen hiding in some nearby bushes. "Yikes," he said to himself as he wrote some more notes.

The camera flashed to a punching bag with a crude drawing of a robot on it.
"For this part," Heather explained as the camera zoomed out to show the two standing next to it, "you need to dig deep and get your anger out. Then, you gotta unleash it on your enemies. Or this dummy."
"Here I go," Shawn looked determined.
He punched the dummy eight times before giving it a flying kick, snapping the tree and dummy in half.

The footage skipped ahead, flashing over to the top of a pagoda. A gong sounded, and the camera panned down, showing the two teams walking up to smaller buildings on either side of the main pagoda. In the middle was a wide flat area with nothing in it save a large object hidden behind an ornate paper divider.
A puff of pink smoke went off in front of the mystery object, and Chris emerged from it playing a Chinese pan flute. He tossed it away after a few notes, then turned around and addressed the camera. "Most worthy competitors!" he began. "Welcome to the Total Drama Kung Fu Showdown!"
The scene immediately cut away to the tops of some pine trees as someone began running across them. Zooming out and up the figure was revealed to be Chef, now dressed as a rough approximation of an unarmored samurai. He did a few mid-air spins as he jumped from the trees to the roofs, then down to the ground slicing the paper divider a few times with his katana before leaping away. The cuts inexplicably set on fire, and the divider quickly burned away to reveal a pair of large red and blue robotic exosuits.
The gong sounded, and the castmates gasped. "See, the fighters go in the robot suits," Chris explained, "and the trainers operate 'em with these here joysticks!" He whipped out a pair of old-school video game joysticks from behind his back to show the teams.
"So what was all that training for?" Lindsay asked in disbelief.
"It's a lesson in zen, o student," Chris explained happily before throwing the joysticks to Heather and Courtney as though he were performing a martial arts maneuver. "Two minutes till the match begins! Suit up, fighters!" He vanished in another puff of pink smoke.
Courtney was moving her joystick. "Okay. Up, down, left, right."
As she was moving her joystick, the camera switched to show Lindsay in the blue suit following what Courtney was doing, causing her to do the splits.
The camera quick-panned to show Shawn, now strapped in the blue suit, and Heather. The latter was testing controls. Shawn was forced to hit himself in the face. "Arms work!" Heather called. He was then forced to kick himself in the face. "Legs work too!"
Just then, Chris reappeared in yet another puff of pink smoke. "Enough practice!" he said as the gong was rung. "When the beautiful geisha sounds the gong, the match will begin."
He motioned over to the gong, where Owen stood by in full geisha garb including makeup and wig. Holding a folded-up paper fan in one hand and a gong mallet in the other, he was far too happy to be there.
"You guys are confusing cultures," Shawn said. "Geishas are Japanese, but kung fu is Chinese."
"News flash!" Heather yelled. "Nobody cares."
Owen made his way over to Heather. "Watch out for Lindsay's roundhouse kick," he told the trainer. "It's a killer."
"Thanks, Miss Owen," Heather snarked off.
"Come on, we're a team," Owen whispered. "You're the only ones getting any inside info."
"If it helps us, then I'll allow it," Shawn called out.
Courtney had seen their exchange. "Hey, no fair. What's Owen doing with the enemy?" The type-a blew a whistle through her fingers. "Over here!"
The camera pulled back to show that Owen was making his way over to the guys, albeit with a bit of stumbling.
"So, were you just talking to the guys about us?" Courtney asked the cameo once he arrived.
"What? No, no. I was just, you know, giving them some uh... advice?" Owen awkwardly admitted.
"Really? That's so sweet of you," Courtney pinched Owen's cheek.
"Do you have any advice for us?" Lindsay asked, causing Owen to stutter. "That's okay. We understand."
"Watch out for Harold's left hook. It's a killer!" Owen yelped before leaving the girls.

"I can tell he was supposed to sabotage one of us," Lindsay confessed. "Why else would he be talking to the other team? I do like how he wanted to keep things fair between us."

The footage cut back to Chris standing in a meditative pose as Owen walked up to him.
"So, which team got the inside track?" Chris asked in a hushed tone with a sideways glance towards her.
"Uh, both of them," Owen answered.
Chris was panicked to hear the news. "What?! You're supposed to sabotage one of the teams, not be all Nicey McFairpants."
"Picking which team to sabotage is hard," Owen defended himself. "I'm not even a contestant this season, and I don't want to be biased."
"Just hit the gong already, okay," Chris said.
Owen walked over to the gong and struck it with his mallet. The sound reverberated through the air, shaking both the geisha and host. "Let the match begin!" Chris announced, his voice wobbling.
Heather and Courtney were each shown moving their joysticks, and the suited-up fighters approached each other.
Shawn stuck first, kicking Lindsay in the leg. The dumb princess cried in pain.
"My bad," Shawn said.
"Oh yeah?" Courtney moved her joystick to make Lindsay slap Shawn.
"Sorry!" Lindsay apologized.
Heather moved her joystick to have Lindsay punched in the belly.
"Forget about leg cramps. My stomach cramped right now," Lindsay groaned.
Soon, a montage of the fighters hitting each other played.
Afterwards, Lindsay kicked Shawn in the crotch. "Not again!" he groaned.
Heather narrowed her eyes. "You wanna play?" She asked dangerously. "Let's play." She pushed her joystick forward, and Shawn flew towards his opponent.
Courtney frantically moved her joystick, but that caused it to break.
"If I'm gonna die, please make it quick!" Lindsay braced herself.
The footage showed various parts of the blue suit fly past the camera before Lindsay landed on her back with a pained grunt.
Chris ducked into the shot. "That's gotta hurt," he winced looking back at the blonde. "Think she's still alive? Come on back and find out." The host looked away. "Medic!"

(Commercial break)

The episode retuned to a shot of Courtney and Owen looking down at Lindsay. "Wakey wakey!" Owen patted the blonde's head, causing her to wake up.
"And the winners are," Chris announced, "Shawn and Heather!"
The shot pulled back to show the winning team celebrating.
"Can somebody let me out now?" Shawn complained.
Without warning, Chef lept out from off-camera and sliced the front off the suit with his sword. Seconds later, the front half of the suit was lying on the ground.
"You know, I can breathe better all of a sudden," Shawn said.

"That sword trimmed off my nose hairs," Shawn commented before getting up close to the camera to show his nostrils. "Not one to be seen."

"Heather and Shawn have won the first challenge," Chris explained as the scene returned to everyone lined up, "and they'll be continuing on to compete for the reward. Girls," he turned to the losing team, "you're gone. Here's where things get interesting."
"I hate when he says interesting," Heather complained. "It just means painful."
"Correction," Chris told her with a grin. "Exciting means painful. Interesting always means life-threatening."
The girls sighed in relief, and Shawn and Heather groaned.
"Each of you must carry a glass of water to the top of the tallest mountain in Japan, Mt. Banshee." Chris explained, holding up a glass of water. The camera quick-panned to a shot of Camp Wawanakwa's thousand-foot-high cliff, then zoomed in to show a potted bonsai tree sitting on a rock.
"There you'll find a bonsai tree guarded by a mysterious kung fu master." The shot panned to a cave on the left, where the Sasquatchankwa sat cross-legged dressed in a Raiden-esque manner. In front of him was a campfire, where a tea kettle hung on a stick. "Try not to spill any water on your way up," Chris warned as the shot zoomed in on the kettle and crackling flame. "You'll need it to brew kung fu tea as payment for the bonsai."
"And if there isn't enough water to make his calming tea," the host continued as the shot moved back to him, "he'll give you a fatali-tea." He dumped out the glass and let it fall with a tinkling crash, and Heather and Shawn shot each other worried looks. "First one to bring the bonsai back down the mountain alive, wins. And, as an added bonus, our lovely geisha will act as a guide and loyal manservant during your deadly climb! As for our losers," he turned back to the girls, "you're sentenced to zen lessons." The two shared a confused look. "AKA, kitchen duty!"
The two looked at each other as Chef approached. "March two three four!" he ordered, poking Lindsay with his sword. "March two three four!" He repeated the gesture with Courtney, and herded the two teens off-camera. "Let's go! Ease up!"

The camera flashed to the base of the mountain, where Heather and Shawn stood with their water glasses with Owen behind them.
"Is it just me or is this thing taller than before?" Shawn mused.
"I can see it too," Heather replied.
"Let's just get climbing," Shawn said.
The two began a wordless climb. Heather grabbed for a small outcropping, but slipped and almost fell.
"Stupid water!" Heather complained. "How am I supposed to win like this?"
"Don't know, but complaining won't help," Shawn retorted as he passed her.
They soon saw Owen climbing past them without any difficulty.
"Since when are you Spider-Man?" Heather wondered.
"It's the geisha shoes," Owen showed them off. "They make me feel light as air."
As he giggled, the camera revealed that he was attached to a string belonging to a crane next to Chris.

The scene flashed to the kitchen, where Courtney was washing dishes with his back to the camera. "We totally could've won the reward if you could take a punch," the C.I.T. said to Lindsay, who was washing a glass nearby.
"You were the one who insisted on being the trainer," Lindsay defended herself.
"I wouldn't have had to be the trainer if you didn't offer to partner up with me!" Courtney argued.
Just then, Chef Hatchet dropped a large pot filled with cooking knives on a small table behind Lindsay, instantly gaining the attention of both losers. "Shut your traps and grab a blade," he told them as he walked past.
"Are we having a knife fight?" Courtney asked.
"I don't like to play with knives," Lindsay complained as she examined a knife in her hand. "They'll just draw out blood, and that'll totally mess up my clothes."
"I could care less about your fashion issues," Courtney replied. "I just know you're smart enough to not pick a fight you know you can't win."
"Y'all are gonna use those blades to cook a meal fit for a warrior," Chef explained as he returned pushing a large tank of water on wheels. "Kung Fu Noodle Soup. Vegetable stock, noodles, and the seven deadliest species of fish known to man."
"You got your rabid piranha," a piranha jumped out of the water and snapped its jaws before slashing back down; "poisonous blowfish," a blowfish jumped up and briefly inflated itself; "electric eel," an eel bristling with electricity was the next to leap into the air; "toxic jellyfish," the purple blob merely surfaced, scooted an inch or so across the water, then dove back down; "lethal swordfish," the next fish was nearly as long as the tank itself and looked very menacing; "man-eating shark!" A shark that was somehow larger than the tank itself jumped up out of the water, and the camera cut outside to see it leap higher than the roof of the tent and roar before several pinkish tentacles shot out, grabbed it, and pulled it back in; "And killer octopus!" Chef finished with a chuckle as the tentacles reeled the shark back into the tank with a splash.
"Now, who's ready to start?" he asked the two with a serious expression. The shot panned over to the left where the girls were huddled together on top of the stove, both wide-eyed with fear.

The camera flashed to one of Shawn's sneakers before panning out to show him slowly inching his way up the mountain. "If this was a tree climbing challenge," he said in between gasps, "I'd have been at the top already!"
The camera panned up to show Heather looking down at Shawn. "On the plus side, if we win this challenge, we could share the prize with Courtney and become a team against Lindsay!"
"Like you want to try that," Shawn scoffed. "You'll just take the reward for yourself."
Heather glared at him before saying "You have a point. I just want Lindsay or Courtney out of the game."
"I'm not voting off Courtney," Shawn said. "We've been working together ever since the start of the game."
"Do you really think that Courtney would want to work with you?" Heather asked him.
"Uh, yeah?" Shawn replied. "She was the one who came up to me with an offer of an alliance."
"Really?" Heather widened her eyes. "I thought you were the one tha the did that. Courtney does play to win."
"Well so do I," Shawn said. "Let's talk about this when we're not in the middle of climbing a mountain."
"Fine!" Heather grunted.
As Owen was watching them, he was suddenly pulled up by Chris.
"I was gotta ask you to stir up some juice for our bloodthirsty fans back home, but since Heather's already doing that, you can go home if you want to," Chris told him.
"I want to," Owen said. "Sabotaging people just makes me feel so underpanted. But can I keep the geisha costume?"
"I don't have any use for it, so you can do whatever you want with it," Chris replied before signaling the crane operator to lower the funniest guy around down.

The scene cut back once more to the kitchen, the camera lingering on a close-up of the water tank before pulling back to show Courtney and Lindsay lurking fearfully at its edge.
"Maybe the fish is less aggressive right now," Lindsay suggested as she carefully plunged her knife into the tank. It stayed there for a second before something beneath the surface seemed to grab it and vigorously shake it. She let go and the weapon sunk into the tank. A moment later a bubble surfaced and popped, sounding like a belch.
"If you want, I'll handle the fish and you take the noodles," Courtney suggested.
"That's good," Lindsay said. "My mom taught me how to make noodles, and they're so fun and tasty to slurp."
"Just go boil them," Courtney told her before a tentacle wrapped around her mouth and attacked her.

The scene cut back to the two scaling the cliff. Heather had regained her lead, but Shawn wasn't far behind.

"At first, l was going to take advantage of Courtney's dislike of Lindsay, but then I thought why not turn Shawn and Courtney against each other?" Heather smirked. "They're both selfish, and they really like to win. If I pit them against each other, I can vote one of them off."

Lindsay was setting a pot of water to boil, then read off a piece of paper on the counter next to her. "Are you sure you don't need help?" She asked Courtney as the camera panned over to her duking it out with a jellyfish.
"I'm good!" Courtney called out. "It's just a jellyfish. I can handle it!"
Confessional: Courtney
"We're in the final four," Courtney told the confessional. "I don't want to show that I'm helpless and needy. Those are just signs of being weak back where I'm from."

The scene flashed to the Sasquatch waiting in its cave at the top of the mountain, the camera panning off to the left to show Shawn and Heather as they finally reached the peak.
"You know, I'm having doubts about your partnership with Courtney," Heather started.
"And why is that?" Shawn wondered.
"Do you really think that an upper class person like her would care about someone as saggy and demented as you?" Heather continued.
Shawn got offended by the comment. "Wow. You're going to insult me when you have doubts?"
"Listen to me," Heather said. "Have you seen how overcompetitive she's been lately?"
"She was a nutjob in the last two challenges," Shawn remembered.
"Exactly!" Heather emphasized. "We're getting close to the end of the season, and knowing her, she's going to betray you and take the money for herself."
"Why should I put my trust in you?" Shawn asked. "You played with Rodney, remember?"
"I'll admit I did frame him for the bras, but this time, I have evidence of Courtney's plot," Heather pulled out her walkie talkie and pressed play.
"I can't wait to win the million dollars!" the voice of Courtney played out. "It was bothersome to be partners with Noah and Shawn just to get to that point. Noah is out of the way, but sooner or later, Shawn will be and no one will be able to prevent me from getting that cash!"
After Heather ended the recording, the camera panned to a jaw-dropped Shawn. "She was using me!?"
"And I was right there recording all of it," Heather said.
"I'll deal with her, but first…" Shawn splashed his water onto Heather's eyes, causing her to shriek and drop her cup. "I have a challenge to win."
The camera quick-panned ahead to the Sasquatchanakwa, who stood up and stepped forward as soon as they saw Shawn. They stopped him in his tracks with a roar.
"You're pretty scary," Shawn shuddered, "but I don't want to get personal with you. Here's the cup!"
He threw the cup at the Sasquatch's head, forgetting that there was still some water left inside. It blinded the creature, causing it to roar furiously.

The Sasquatch was the one in the confessional. "Not cool," it complained in a deep and hoarse voice.

The Sasquatch marched towards Shawn with the intention to attack the boy and growled.
Shawn was about to back out, but once he saw Heather recovering, he grit his teeth and got serious. "I've been running away from danger all my life, but with all that's happened, I'm going a different direction this time."
He back flipped onto a rock and launched a flying kick on the Sasquatch's face, dazing it for a few seconds. Quickly getting back up, Shawn did a sprint jump and punched it right it the face, knocking them out cold.
The footage returned to Heather watching in shock as Shawn ran past her with the bonsai. Her eyes widened in fear and the camera panned out to show the Sasquatch glaring at her, causing her to flee. Her scream of terror was heard over a long distance shot of the mountain.

The footage skipped ahead to night in the craft services tent. It had been rearranged so that a single table sat along the far end loaded with seafood, and various Japanese-themed decorations had been put up around the room. Lindsay and Heather were seated at the table, while Shawn and Courtney stood near the meal counter with a noticeable amount of distance between them.
"Would you care for some Kung Fu Noodle Soup?" Lindsay asked as she gestured to the pot in her hands.
"Knowing you, you may have cooked it poorly!" Heather denied. "No thank you."
"I actually put a lot of effort into the food," Lindsay said.
"I don't want to get poisoned and have my face swelled up," Heather refused. "I know there was poisonous fish used for the meal."
"I was just trying to be nice, but if you don't want anything, that's not my problem," Lindsay retorted as she left.
The camera cut to Shawn and Courtney. "How prissy is that girl? We cook her a meal and she thinks we're going to poison her?" Courtney complained.
"To be fair, there was some toxic sea creatures used for the meal," Shawn mumbled.
"Me and Lindsay made sure to extract the poison out," Courtney said. "As much as Heather's public enemy number one, poisoning her is a line we will not cross."
"But lying to someone is definitely a line you will cross," Shawn told her.
"What are you talking about?" Courtney wondered.
"It's clear you're manipulating me just to reach the finals," Shawn said. "Now that we've reached that point, I'm saving myself some dignity and ending our alliance, if there was ever one to begin with."
"I do care about you!" Courtney said.
"I doubt it," Shawn stood up and left the tent. "It's every man and woman for themselves now."
Courtney soon left as well. "If that's how you want to go, then fine. We're playing for ourselves."

| Hello! First some preliminary facts: Live in Seattle area House is 1600 sq ft. House has a heat pump that was installed in 2016 - Lennox XP14-030-230 : 14 SEER, 2.5 Ton, R-410A, Elite Series Handler looks older -- FV4anf003 - Carrier air handler from 2009ish? We have been experiencing poor heating performance lately and were having to rely on auxiliary to get anywhere with heating the house up. We get twice yearly maintenance from a local vendor, and they sent their tech out and he found that the harness that connects the compressor to the fuse box had been touching some copper element or pipe and the vibration from the compressor essentially turned the copper into a saw. When they tried to replace the harness and fuses they found it kept blowing the fuses so they saw there was a leak and the compressor was out of refrigerant and blown (you can see their diagnostic below). Our normal HVAC vendor (that we pay a monthly fee to for twice yearly maintenance) quoted us roughly 6k to get the compressor replaced. The issue is that they "don't work with Lennox usually, and Lennox has a terrible reputation for upholding their parts warranties". I checked with Lennox and despite that we're the second owners of the home the compressor is under a 10 year warranty. But they (Vendor #1) want to purchase then part and then wait for the warranty to come through. The issue with that Lennox only sends parts, they don't reimburse etc. They seemed to think Lennox will give them a "credit" but I have no idea why that would be if Lennox told me they just send parts, not reimbursement lol. They also gave us a quote to replace the air handler and heat pump for 12.9k with a Coleman ( they didn't indicate the model on the quote but it's "14 - 1 Stage Heating & Cooling Constant Capacity) Got a second quote from another vendor (VENDOR #2) who said they'd do what was quoted for $600 less or they could replace the entire heat pump for roughly 7k as long as I bundled it with another project I had them bid on (replacing insulation in crawl space). That would have been 7K for the pump, and 5.9k for the crawl space insulation work (didn't get an itemized estimate for this, but I figured this would come out to around 13-15k) Then I said, what about replacing the airhandler too. And they provided a quote for that, but the cost jumped to 25k roughly. The airhandler itself isn't that expensive though right? I feel like that's a massive jump in cost. It does include a surge protector and it looks like they're going to build a new concrete pad even though we have one with the first heat pump? The specs for the heat pump and airhandler: 3 ton 16 SEER Side Discharge Heat Pump AHP 4A6L6036A1000A The heat pump looks a lot smaller than our current one which seems weird to me. Also it's outside and has plenty of space so not sure why low profile? American Standard TAM9A0C36V31DA - Platinum Series, 3 Ton, Variable Speed Multi-Position Air Handler, R410A, 208-230/1/60 Gemaire Distributors Normal HVAC Vendor quote to replace compressor Anyway, I wanted to ask a few things. (1) So it seems like a big part of what happened is that the copper tubing started to rub that harness or whatever electrical wiring it was and this caused the leak. Is it nonstandard to zip tie cables like that inside a heat pump so they don't get sawed? The veteran tech from the first vendor said he's seen it many times where the cabling sags overtime. I don't understand why that wouldn't be easy to prevent, especially within the first 10 years of a heat pumps life? And is this area not something that would be seen in a bi-yearly maintenance? (I am trying to find the terms of what is covered by our preventative maintenance to be more specific here) (2) We were told by both vendors "once the compressor goes it is only usually like 2 years before other parts start going". The replacement for the compressor is almost as much as the former owner paid for the entire heat pump. It's also only 7 years old (2016). Is that a bunch of bull, or is it true that once the compressor goes there tends to be a failure in other parts? (3) Are there any brands that we should stay away from if we end up replacing (is Lennox the boogie man like they seemed to indicate)? Any feedback would be appreciated, or things to consider. Alright so after changing the battery on my 318 the ews2 caused a no crank no start issue did the wire bypass on the actual ews Got it to crank no start. I thought it would be easy to just sync the dme and ews using inpa but I’m not getting any com from the obd2 to my laptop any thoughts I bridged the pins on the obd1 port aswell so I should have access to obd2 any thoughts?

Not sure if this is the right thread, sorry if it isn't.
All vampires are non-hostile to me. I first noticed when I was in Haemar's shame where the clavicus vile shrine is and none of them were attacking. They would just say a line of dialogue much like guards when I interacted with them. I've even gone so far as starting the dawnguard quest line, and only the ones scripted to attack at the beginning of dimhollow crypt do, the rest are non-hostile like guards. I started a brand new character and console command unlocked all locations and went around where vampires are, same result. I am certain it has to do with my mods, but I'm not sure which one. I use the Fable lore mod list from Wabbajack. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

2023.03.19 21:34 Kienngu Vampires are not hostile towards me. Same thing with a new character, so I think it is mod-related?
All vampires are non-hostile to me. I first noticed when I was in Haemar's shame where the clavicus vile shrine is and none of them were attacking. They would just say a line of dialogue much like guards when I interacted with them. I've even gone so far as starting the dawnguard quest line, and only the ones scripted to attack at the beginning of dimhollow crypt do, the rest are non-hostile like guards. I started a brand new character and console command unlocked all locations and went around where vampires are, same result. I am certain it has to do with my mods, but I'm not sure which one. I use the Fable lore mod list from Wabbajack. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
