THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing. 2023.06.02 22:14 Thisisausersurname it has been 24 hours and I have questions for u guys

for those who are lazy, I will write my questions at the start. my two questions:
1) what is the diagnose criteria? is 24 hours enough to get diagnosed? it has been only 24 hours since I have this. is it possible that it go away in couple of days by its own? I read that I need to do the reverse kegel or kegels exercises for it to recover. is it possible that this is only just a couple of days problem and body will heal itself?
2) do u think my theory that I mention below is correct? am I just having a muscle fatigue? (after a person squats, he has soreness in his legs for couple of days and then it goes away)

yesterday, I started to feel weird sense in my testicles. it is not exactly like pain but annoying feeling. and sometimes pain too. but mostly annoying feeling. I was thinking about some illness testicles related but I realized that when I pee I don't feel strong in my "peeing" muscles(I assume they are pelvic muscles). so probably my pelvic floor muscles are effecting my testicles. also I had couple involuntary contractions in that area and I feel like they are little bit stiff than normal and I am always "aware" of those muscles. today I got a random nocturnal erection, and I felt very minor pain in my penis.
little knowledge about me, I have pssd (post ssri sexual dsyfunction). I used my medication for 6 months, and I quited 6 and half months ago and I still have pssd. so I couldn't have erections like I used to have for almost a year(I couldnt even have an orgasm in the first 8 months), it was totally numb) if we dont count couple day windows(window means basically relief of symptoms for a day or two. they doesn't count as a recovery and happened to me monthly after like february 2023)
Lately, my windows became more frequent and longer. I would say I was functioning 80-90 percent of my pre-pssd. my theory: I wasn't using my pelvic muscles for a long time since I couldn't get full erections for a year, and now my pelvic floor muscles are fatigue since I am having erections again? is this why I am having this problem? if it is, it must be just like gym fatigue. (muscle soreness shouldn't take more than 1-2 weeks)

2023.06.02 22:13 Extension_Virus_835 New Kitten (8 weeks) Male when is a good time to neuter?

I just got a new kitten. He is an inside cat and will always be an inside cat (as is my other cat) I will 100% get him neutered but when is the best time?
I know there are some differing opinions in dogs because of growth plates and I am unsure if the same opinions are coming out about cats.
My current vet said 6-9 months (after all of his vaccines) but I want to make sure that timeline is an up to date one and I’m not even sure where to start researching that!

2023.06.02 21:40 reddisuss Struggle to eat in Summer

Hi, sorry for my english, it's not my main language.
During summer, when the temperatures gets high, I begin to really struggle to get down food normally. I don't know why, but after the first pieces, it kinda feels like all dry and hard to swallow. This thing is really stressing, because I often end the meal early not because I am full, but because I'm really tired by this problem and unable to get anymore food down.
I know that in summer it's normal to have less appetite, but here it's not about that: even if I am really hungry, i get this problem.
Can someone explain why this can be happening?
PS: don't blame the food, I garantee that the food is well cooked like I always do during the year, when I have no problems

2023.06.02 21:37 NuttNinja How to stop being a nice guy?

This is a verse from the I video I saw
"His father didn't set an example for him. He didn't teach him how to make decisions or how to stand up for himself. His mother taught him how to be nice to others and make sure he never did anything that would risk people not liking him. People praised him for being a good kid, for never causing problems and always sacrificing his needs for others. This became Something he was proud of. It became his identity. I'm a good person, he would tell himself as he continued to help everyone but himself. He was so sure that by simply being a good person, everything would work out in his favor, but then things didn't work out. He didn't understand why his identity and everything he knew to be true were now falling apart around him. He wants to change but doesn't wanna become an asshole because he hates those kind of guys, he's not sure what to do, but one thing is becoming clear,, he is starting to realize that in his quest to be like by everyone, he is respected by no one"
This has been me my whole life. I am currently 24 and have never been in a relationship. I have no friends I can rely on or call best friends. I am 6'3" with a good build and face but haven't been able to land a single girl my whole life, nor do I have anyone who I can call my best friend. I am always too afraid of what people will think of me and have built a habit of thinking about everything multiple times before speaking and building out all possible scenarios in my mind for situations. This has led to low confidence, and because of this, I am not able to carry conversations with anyone, especially when it's a girl I like. But I am now tired of being a nice guy and looking for a solution on how to counter this. I am tired of being a secondary guy who no one remembers. I wish to get into a relationship. Has anyone here gone through and fought this? How do I become a good guy instead of nice?

2023.06.02 21:29 stirrednotshaken01 Guidance on Pressing Charges

Long story short - this is for a friend not me
She grew up in a bad area and when she was 12-14 a drug dealer in the area started grooming her
He had sex with her when she was 15 and he was 21
He reached out to her recently and she started thinking about it and realized it was rape - at least statutory rape
She is in Illinois and is now 39 and he is 45
Can she still press charges. Should she? And would it go anywhere realistically?
I don’t think she wants to see him in jail (part of her still wonders if she was abused or not) but wants to send a very clear don’t contact me Again and you are a piece of shit message
What do you think

If you’re like just about everyone else on the planet who saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018 and loved it, you’ve probably been waiting for the sequel. You won’t be waiting long, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is finally coming out.

After a grueling five-year-long wait, Marvel fans everywhere will finally be able to return to the animated multiverse with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The upcoming sequel's predecessor requires no explanation, as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse not only ensnared audiences and critics alike but also caught a prestigious Oscar win with a Best Animated Feature award. With "New York's one and only Spider-Man," Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), now becoming a household name, fans of the first film eagerly awaited the day they could see young Miles swing into the Spider-Verse again.

Thankfully, the wait is almost finally over, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will return to screens soon. This time Miles will not only be reunited with Gwen Stacey (Hailee Steinfeld) and Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson) but he'll also be introduced to an entire multiversal society of Spider-people created and led by a particularly pessimistic variant of Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac). Though some of the other variants in this secretive organization view Miles as a nuisance more than anything else, they'll have to learn to put those apprehensions aside if they hope to save the multiverse from an all-new terrifying threat. As the release date for the sequel to one of the most celebrated Spider-Man films ever made crawls closer and closer

Everyone's favorite web-slinger from an alternate dimension returns for a second theatrical outing. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse continues the multiverse-spanning adventures of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), one of the youngest and newest iterations of Spider-Man in his home dimension. A year after the events of Into the Spider-Verse, Miles is introduced to the Spider-Society, an immense organization of different Spider-People who hail from countless alternate dimensions.

The much-anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is only one day away, and fans can’t wait to see the new adventures of Miles Morales. Once the Sony Pictures-produced movie ends its theatrical run, it will come to the most popular streamers, including Netflix and Disney Plus. But when is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix and Disney Plus? Here is precisely where and how you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online.

When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was one of the many films to get hit by a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, moving from its original date of April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022. That's the date seen in the above trailer, but the film has since seen another significant delay since then. Now the film is officially set for release on June 2, 2023. Hopefully, we won't see another delay, but if it means getting a sequel that lives up to the sky-high heights of the original, we'll gladly wait.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in Theaters?
Not only was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse the subject of rave reviews, but it also pulled in some gargantuan levels of cash at the international box office, with a final tally that quadrupled the film's ninety-million dollar budget. With incredible success like that, it's only natural that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would also be taking advantage of a theatrical release. That is the case, as the upcoming film will be exclusively available in theaters when it premieres on June 2nd, 2023.

When is 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' streaming?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
The home distribution rights for Across the Spider-Verse are in a rather interesting place. In April 2021, it was reported that Sony Studios had signed a multiyear deal with both Netflix and Disney for shared streaming rights to Sony films coming out between 2022 and 2026. This deal includes Across the Spider-Verse as well as the third film in the series, Beyond the Spider-Verse, due out in March 2024.

As for releases like Across the Spider-Verse, the film will be available on Netflix with "first-pay-window-rights" for the first 18 months of its home media release. While it will not be streaming concurrently with its theatrical release, it will be available on Netflix following its theatrical run.

Some of the films are not currently available on the service because Sony has pre-existing partnerships with Starz, as that's where most of the absent films are available to stream. That is except for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is instead only streaming on Fubo TV and FX Now.

For anyone else looking to watch the film as soon as possible, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 2.

How to Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
At the moment, you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at your local theater. But like most movies these days, it should hit a streaming website in the near future.

Like its predecessor, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a flick produced by multimedia conglomerate Disney. What's more, the production studio owns a number of other famous franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. Titles made under these umbrellas have both hit Disney+ sometime after arriving at the box office. Fans may also know the original Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is currently available to stream on the site as well. So, if the 2023 version follows the same pattern, folks will likely get to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Disney+ later this year too.

As for an exact release date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, that's more complicated. Most movies produced by Disney often go to its streamer site within three months after debuting in theaters, like the most recent Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. If this is the case for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it will probably drop in late August 2023 or sometime near Labor Day in early September.

When the time comes for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to splash onto Disney+ though, make sure you're all prepared to watch it. If you don't have access yet, you can opt into a 30-day free trial before choosing a plan that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. After your account is all set, click on the title page on Disney+'s official website or the Disney+ app.

As you wait for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to hit the streamer, why don't you watch the animated version and its sequel Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse? Or if you want to immerse yourself in another live-action version, click on the 2019 ABC TV special Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live!. Enjoy!

Where To Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online:
As of now, the only way to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on June 2, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.

Watch Now: Spider-Verse (2023) Movie Online Free

Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Disney+.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix approximately in December 2023.

In 2021, Sony and Netflix signed a five-year deal that gave the latter exclusive first-pay-window U.S. streaming rights for Sony Pictures titles after their theatrical and home entertainment windows. Fans can expect to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix six months after the film’s theatrical release, thus in December 2023. The date seems reasonable considering that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped on Netflix on June 26, 2019, six months after its U.S. release on December 14, 2018. The pay-one window usually begins about nine months after a film’s theatrical release, but it might start earlier in particular cases.

This post will be updated once there is a 100% officially confirmed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Netflix release date.

When Will Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Be Available On Netflix?
Regarding when the film will be available on Netflix, the answer is less definitive. The first film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, began streaming six months after its theatrical release. Based on this, it is safe to assume Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will see a similar gap between its cinematic and streaming releases. Given the film's theatrical release of June 2, 2023, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will likely begin streaming on Netflix in December 2023.

This tracks with some of Sony's bigger releases of 2022. Films like Uncharted and Bullet Train were released on Netflix six and five months respectively after their release in theaters. Of course, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse could have other elements that see it release before or after this tentative six-month period, such as underperforming or exceeding expectations at the box office. Although, based on Sony's track record - including that of the first film - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse can be expected on Netflix in the winter of 2023, likely December for a holiday release.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Disney Plus?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also coming to Disney Plus approximately in 2025.

Once the pay-one window runs its time and Netflix’s exclusive rights expire, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on Disney Plus. The pay-one window might last as long as 18 months, which means it will be a while before Disney Plus subscribers can watch the much-anticipated sequel. Unlike in other countries, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse isn’t yet available on the Disney-owned streamer in the U.S.

American fans will have to wait until 2024 to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and at least until 2025 for its sequel. We will update this post once there is an official Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Disney Plus release date.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes from a joint effort of directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. The movie will swing into theaters on June 2, featuring the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, among others.

Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be On HBO Max?
No, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

How to Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online For Free?
Most Viewed, Most Favorite, Top Rating, Top IMDb movies online. Here we can download and watch 123movies movies offline. 123Movies website is the best alternative to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) free online. We will recommend 123Movies is the best Solarmovie alternatives.

There are a few ways to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online in the U.S. You can use a streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. You can also rent or buy the movie on iTunes or Google Play. You can also watch it on-demand or on a streaming app available on your TV or streaming device if you have cable.

When Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be on DVD and Blu-ray?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will likely be coming to DVD and Blu-ray around the same time as the streaming release. With theatrical films, on average, coming to streaming sooner than ever (usually ninety days after theatrical release), we'll likely see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse get a DVD, and Blu-ray release no later than Fall 2023.

2023.06.02 21:12 Otter_in_space Spider Mites?

Spider Mites?
Happy Friday, plant folks!
When I first brought this alocasia frydek home (Nov. ’22) I noticed spider mites within the first 2 weeks. I treated the plant every 4 days with a mixture of diluted isopropyl alcohol with distilled water, Dr. Dronner’s pure castille soap, and neem oil sprayed generously on all parts of the plant (leaf & stem, runoff in the soil). After a minute or so, I used a dense makeup brush to wipe every part, cook, and vein of the plant. I followed this schedule for ~6 weeks.
I saw this treatment during a woman’s YouTube video on the subject recommended in one of the Reddit plant groups, but now I can’t seem to find the video so if anyone knows, please let me know.
The plant has been doing decently well ever since, but I have lost leaves likely due to a watering issue. This week I have noticed little spots on the leaves that look very similar to the November spider mite haunting. However, there are no webs anywhere on the plant this time. I was able to just barely see the spider mites in Nov, but I couldn’t find a single bug until today. The bug in the picture was red, fast, and larger in size. In the past they were smaller and yellowish/pale in color.
Do you think this is a true spider mite issue? False spider mites? Other? Is the same treatment I used in the past adequate?

2023.06.02 21:06 AbigailTheFairy [F4F] [Discord] My Hero Academia roleplay

Hey there! I'm a big anime fan, and in particular at the moment I'm craving some action in the world of MHA/BNHA. I'd like to play an OC, and you're free to play either an OC or canon as your main character. As side/background characters, the other canons can certainly exist either way, or if you wanted we could have everyone else be original as well. I'd prefer to start at the beginning of the first school year, but I'm flexible with that. We can follow the main story, but there are some things we can tweak if wanted. I even have some ideas for other changes to the world if you'd like to spice things up or do an AU type plot. Making it a college or such is also totally good if you want to go with higher age ranges for characters! I'm pretty flexible and want to make sure what we create works for both of us. I do have a specific idea for my character I'd be happy to tell you about.
I'm 24, in the EST time zone, but don't care what time you're in. I roleplay in third person and on Discord, and would like the same. I'm flexible with reply length however, as long as there is at least few lines, anywhere up to a few paragraphs is fine with me. I know people get busy and all so I don't mind if some replies take a while, but ideally we'd get at least one reply out a day, if not more when possible! If you'd like to discuss more, please message me! Chat or inbox messages are fine.

2023.06.02 20:53 Foreign_Quail1398 stay at uni or go home for a bit?

I (f21) have really been struggling with mental health recently and have been feeling incredibly isolated. I hang out often with my boyfriend, and have a few good friends up here. However, on days I have nobody to be with, I feel incredibly lonely and depressed. It’s like I can’t spend any time on my own without feeling like I have nobody. This issue is informed largely by trauma from my teenage years.
I reached out to my mum, who i’m very close with, and she told me that I can come home for a few weeks. It’ll give me a baseline of socialisation, and I always feel more stable at home. However, the journey is a bit of a pain, and I’ll be heading home in 4 weeks anyway when my lease runs out.
I’m not sure whether to go home for a few weeks, or whether to stick it out up here. Usually I’d just stay, but I feel pretty fragile at the moment, as well as being newly sober. Part of me feels like going home for a few weeks is akin to giving up. I’d also miss my boyfriend a lot.
should I stick out potentially at uni for a few more weeks or head home for a bit instead? I’m just so conflicted.
Thank you in advance for any advice! :-)

2023.06.02 20:28 kauppimartha Don’t Set Yourself Up for Broken Agreements

Don’t Set Yourself Up for Broken Agreements

How to talk through the most uncomfortable topics.
One thing I love about working with polyamorous people is that they tend to prioritize honesty, forthrightness, and clarity in the process of making relationship agreements. That said, we’re all only human, and people in polyamorous relationships are certainly not immune to broken agreements. Valuing honesty is a great first step, but it might not be enough when the rubber meets the road and you have to tell your partner something that makes your stomach churn.
At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to: can you be honest with your partner about something that you’re fairly certain they won’t want to hear? Most of the time, the root cause of broken agreements is not maliciousness or callousness. It’s conflict avoidance.
Conflict avoidance is common and very understandable. Sometimes it looks like people-pleasing, other times just trying not to hurt someone you care about; sometimes you might not yet really know what you want, making it difficult to have an honest conversation about it. But in all of these examples, the underlying dynamic is avoiding a tough conversation for one reason or another.
Unfortunately, avoiding conflict makes it difficult to create good agreements, in addition to making it challenging to repair relationships effectively if something goes wrong. The good news is that becoming good at facing tough conversations with integrity is totally possible, and will allow you to reap the rewards in every kind of relationship for years to come.
Conflict-Avoidance and Negotiating Agreements
Stepping outside of monogamy-centric assumptions about fidelity means that you’re going to need to have more and deeper conversations with your partner about what you each envision for your relationship. Those conversations will certainly require you to delve deep into emotionally challenging topics like jealousy, primacy, intimacy, sex, and more.
Attempting to avoid conflict, or protect either yourself or your partner from discomfort when you discuss these or other difficult topics, can lead to a variety of problems. It might result in relationship agreements that are fuzzy and unclear or plagued by loopholes, which is a recipe for trouble when it turns out you and your partner had totally different ideas about what you actually agreed to. It can also mean that you end up avoiding the very topics that you and your partner most need to talk openly and honestly about.
What can you do to set yourself up for success? Here’s a step-by-step:
  • Get grounded. Before you even begin to talk, get grounded and figure out what one thing is most important to you to express first; then stick with that for now.
  • Take it slow. You don’t have to figure everything out in the first conversation you have, or the second, or the tenth. You and your partner will both benefit from ample time to reflect, explore, and consider one another’s perspectives.Consider setting a timer for ten minutes to remind you to take frequent breaks from the conversation to avoid overwhelm or escalation. You might also consider having one person speak and the other listen and ask clarifying questions, rather than entering into a back and forth right away. Then, take a sizable break before switching roles.
  • This is not a decision-making process…yet. You can take your time to learn more about yourself and about your partner. You’re not going to lose anything by taking your time now, and deep understanding comes before effective decision-making. When you are in the role of speaking about your experience, let your partner’s questions help you get to know yourself better. When you are in the role of listening/getting curious, let your empathy show you what this looks like from your partner’s perspective, with their unique viewpoint.
  • Plan to take frequent breaks. As you begin talking about what is important to you, and really letting yourself hear and understand what is important to others in your life, make sure you agree ahead of time that you will take a break if a discussion gets heated. This seemingly simple step will save you a world of trouble but often is overlooked, in part because it is not as easy as it sounds.
  • Cultivate gentleness, warmth, and curiosity about your partner’s experience and perspective. What they are telling you is a precious thing. It’s a unique perspective you can only understand by really engaging with them and allowing yourself to really let in what they are telling you about their thoughts, feelings, and desires. If you become defensive, go on the attack, or shut down, it will effectively end the vulnerability and honesty you are hoping to foster. If you start to experience a lot of emotion or get bogged down, take a break. Remember, this stage of things is not a decision-making process. There is no rush.
  • Get curious about your own discomfort. Take uncomfortable emotions that arise as a signal to explore a bit more, and gently, rather than to pull away. This requires going slowly; as slowly as it takes to stay grounded and leaning toward one another emotionally, rather than getting guarded and pulling away.
  • Consider setting a timer for ten minutes to remind you to take frequent breaks from the conversation to avoid overwhelm or escalation.
  • You might also consider having one person speak and the other listen and ask clarifying questions, rather than entering into a back and forth right away. Then, take a sizable break before switching roles.
As you practice these skills, they’ll get easier and easier, and you’ll probably find you have much less to fear from deep and serious conversations with your partner than you might have thought.
In my next installment, I’ll discuss how avoiding conflict can play out in problematic ways when you’re juggling responsibilities to multiple different partners. Stay tuned.

Ex Reached Out & Wants Me All In Instantly
Ok, I’m linking my original post—a couple days after he originally reached out, he sent many texts saying he can’t hide his feelings anymore and wants to try again, he’s been lying to himself trying to date other people when he just wants us to be together again. He wants marriage, family, move in together, etc.
I received all this in those first few messages, which, are all things I’ve wanted for so long BUT is a load to receive all at once—esp after months of NC and months of feeling hurt. I’m still processing how to feel because all of this is very sudden. I’m not sure if he noticed I had a new profile pic or if he actually realized what he wants. We have been talking and I’m trying to ease back into everything but he is pushing for everything to basically be instant. He says he’s “waited 9 months and very sure of my (his) thoughts & feelings & I (he) know what I (he) want.” He moved 6 hours away and while I’ve mentioned I want us to try again and could see a future with him, he wants everything now. He said if I don’t choose him now, that’s it. He asked if he should delete his dating apps —like wtf? He also said he’s made a new life where he’s at and isn’t returning to his old city (my area). He said there’s no way we could make a future/family with the COL in my area and even though I work remote, I still am required to travel locally for work. He goes back and forth with understanding and then saying I should be all in or he’s done.
Am I wrong to be cautious about all this and still processing how I feel? Of course I care and could see a future together, but pushing me into something right away, I don’t feel like I’m being heard. I have a whole life where I am and my family/friends/interests here. He is cornering me into choosing his life and I don’t feel there’s any compromise from him. I’m torn and a little hurt to be put in this situation.
Sorry if this doesn’t belong in this sub—this stems back to months after no contact and now I’m here. Am I in the wrong and should just jump or not?

Bouquet foliage starting to grow out of the top and no idea what to do
Hi everyone, sorry in advance for if I get anything wrong total noob when it comes to plants!
About a month ago I bought a bouquet of flowers which came with this foliage (I’m not sure what it is, tried to look on the website and it just said it was foliage)
Whilst all the other flowers have now died, there seems to be something growing from the top of this one, I haven’t done much to it other than change it’s water and sprayed it with some house plant solution.
But I have now grown attached to this £3.50 branch and invested in trying to make it grow if possible and I was wondering what I should do with it? Do I need to cut it to below the new growth and put it in tiny vases or plant it in a pot? Or just leave it?
I did go into a gardening centre but they had no idea what to do, I also tried to search on a plant app to see if I could ID it/try to see how to care for it but I am at a loss.
I have an orchid, Swiss cheese plant, Janet Craig corn plant and Tradescantia Zebrina who except the corn plant are doing well, (might have to ask advice on the corn plant because she’s not doing as well ☹️) so I have all of the soil/sprays for these but I am happy to buy more if I can get this lil thing to grow.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance 😊

2023.06.02 20:10 Pixiegirl128 Starbucks Chai Effect

Before deciding if this is worth going to see someone about (I live in the US and healthcare is not cheap) I just wonder if this is something others have experienced or have an idea what might be behind it, because searching, I'm not finding anything that really explains it.
In recent visits, specifically when I order chai lattes from Starbies, I get a little dizzy and light headed afterwards. I usually just do a chai latte with soy, and maybe a pump of mocha syrup (chocolate) and a pump of some other flavor. When I've finished the drink, which takes me a couples hours at least most times, i find myself feeling dizzy. And it does seem to be only theirs. I don't feel like I recall this happening with any other drinks of theirs (i might need to try something different and pay attention and see).
When trying to google I saw suggestions for it being the tea (chai) or coffee (i don't do because I do have issues with their coffee and it having negative affects on me) for the caffeine or the soy for it being a soy allergy, or even sugar. But none of these feel like they match up.
As to the caffeine potential. I've drank energy drinks with far more caffeine than a chai latte, and never had this issue before. I've drank chais from other places, never had this issue.
The same goes for soy. I've been drinking various soy milks, eating various things (edamame being a big one) never had it cause me issues before.
And in terms of sugar, it goes back to the caffeine. There's another coffee place near me that does energy drinks with flavored syrups, and I've drank those with whipped cream.
I had food with it, and I'm just at a loss. It feels like a semi recent development but it's weird that it would only be in this circumstance.

2023.06.02 20:06 Dolomitedude [Poem] 12:34 E=person

How I suppose:
Sustaining obsessions, hoarding possessions, soul-crushing concessions, abstaining confessions, side reeling successions is sickness.
Six senses. Success is successes. Snap back to your highness your selfness! It's senseless.
Bliss is.
Full break ends session.
~Oh and by the way: Got Damn! T'was good ta see ya!~
Allow my goodbye. Bye words, a postpartum pain panacea:
A bygone way of incantant reverberations just minding there way through vocal vibrations.
I'll welcome you too. My presentation, a present to you. Don't worry too soon...
There's no need for cochlear implants. They're infestations.
Just simple and practical implementations that take skill not beyond that of baboons or crustaceans.
~For God's Sake now we're slipping into indignant indignation! Quit forestalling completion! We demand progression!~
I see. Regressive agression. Enough with frustration, allow me to end this contention -
Can't you see my obsession, besides what's so great bout fruition? Come see my true vision.
These be my voices, my vices bring crisis. I call upon Isis! Oh I call Osiris!
Of my intentions? To spice this.
A desire to see through deep rooted conventions.
Whats buried beneath previously mentioned intentions?
~You do too, don't you?~
But first we must sit, we must learn, we must listen, two. Tune into that and return to this station.
Forget progress have patience to progress. . . *Ahem, to clear flem - before bare fascinations.*
Ok now? Alright hey! Without further adue, allow Gaia to bring unto you.
No, not new situations, nor mere simulations, but by turning her through on her own machinations.
Breed brand new creations.
To begin, set your hymns and ahems aside. Besides, you must first sit down and strap in.
Just let go and enjoy the ride:
Clouds drift over mountain towers make rainfall in torrents, and drizzles and showers.
Flows down mountain side valleys low flowing to oceans and into what else:
Fish and Gods. -Knowing-
Unto tides, turning and stirring torrential typhoons that take water and plop it at poles where it cools,
expands into ice. It stills, does not pool.
Until sunshine melts crystals. Flows back and turns blue.
Or else by sublime sublimation, returns to the sky to fall onto greenery and bead up as dew.
For instance, on the blades of grass cows chew.
Or perhaps clouds float back to stone towers and mount them:
Of their ascension, the cause is contention between plates;
the forces that bend them.
Not yet weathered to dust and recycled to Gaia their ridges that trace them trace back to the ocean.
Whose waves crash on cliffs?
In time they'll destroy them.
It's quite simply a cyclical process.
~Excuse me the point~ :
Of course.
Let me show you in short:
~shortly of course~
Rivers will roar. Ponds will pool. Streams will run. And still will Greeks go babble on, and on, and on.
When lightning strikes; start fires!
Spring time makes flowers.
Nighttime : Stars Shower
And by this way,
go on
and down and in and out
and on and on and on.

2023.06.02 19:28 Sure-Beginning9039 🧘🏽‍♀️ Benefits of Solitude 🕊️

In depression solitude can be overwhelming but it is the same solitude that helps saints and mystics realize their oneness with the divine. Through out my life I have always been alone. As a single child and an introvert I have realized, through suffering and contemplating upon the scriptures, I am the Solitude itself experiencing the aloneness through the physical body and mind.
Deleting all my social media accounts further deepened my esoteric understanding of solitude.
It is only solitude that will help you to understand the occult studies like Astrology and holistic philosophies of the world.
Solitude helps your mind by removing the "key" from the "monkey" as solitude itself becomes the "key" to unlock the "monk's" mind.
Two of my favourite verses from the scriptures for you to help turn the depressive solitude to meditative solitude:
ब्रह्मैवाहं समः शान्तः सच्चिदानन्दलक्षणः। नाहं देहो ह्यसद्रूपो ज्ञानमित्युच्यते बुधैः
Translated: I am verily Brahman, being equanimous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. I am not the body which is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.
Explained: Brahman is the ultimate reality that is you, me and everyone and else. Our real nature is that of Existence itself, Consciousness itself, Bliss itself. These are not external emotions felt in the mind alone. But we are IT. We cannot be this body as body is degrading all the time. Which one are you in the changing nature of the body? The child? The adult? Or the old? You cannot be all of them at once. If you can be all of them then you should not be changing. But despite all the changes you still say it "I am this body". Enquire deeper and you will find that the "I" is different from the body and mind. This way of self-enquiry is called to be the thinking of the wise. 🕉️
Yeshua said: If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the Kingdom. If you do not celebrate the Sabbath as a Sabbath, you will not know the Father.
Explained: This is a good saying by Jesus regarding solitude. To fast from the world is to manifest our freedom in relation to it. We must leave the city in order to see its real skyline. A time of retreat is necessary for a truly human life. This also includes going away from social media and too much socialising in modern terms. This is the deep meaning of shabbat, a word which literally means “a stopping.” (When contemporary Israelis needed a word for a labor strike, they coined the word chevita, a derivative of shabbat.) . The importance of Shabbat to the Jewish people is well known. Each week, individuals stop doing and thereby wrest away the world and human life from the iron, mechanical grip of production. People take the time to be, to sit before God. This is also a day when humans are equal. They drop their social and professional roles and are simply human beings. Their universal family, all members of which are descendants from God, allows them also to discover this same movement as a kinship with all creatures. To bring Shabbat into our life is to introduce a time of stopping and of returning—even in the midst of our agitated state—to our essential being. It means taking the time to ask the great questions, such as “What is the real motive of my action? Who is it who thinks? Who am I?” The Shabbat is also a moment of halting our churning mental appara-tus, when time is suspended . . . Then it is possible for a flame to burn from the heart of humanity, an echo of the pure and simple I AM which is our real nature as Brahman (refer to the first verse). 🕉️
