2023.06.02 22:57 lfernandes Dirt Track cache key bugged?
The first time I came across the big ramp in the dirt track that launches you into the floating key, I tried it a couple times and was regularly rocketing over the top of it and past it and figured screw it, I’ll come back later.
Came back a few IRL days later and tried again but this time my car slows down like crazy as I approach the ramp and I can barely leap off of it. Not nearly close to getting to the key by a long shot.
I assumed I was using the wrong tires somehow so swapped them out to dirt and snow tires and still can’t make the climb without basically just falling off the ramp on the other side. Super strange. Even tried the monster truck.
My kid has also been playing and just tried it on his game - different account, different device and got the same result. Can’t go fast enough up the hill no matter what vehicle or tires used.
Anyone else experiencing this and have any advice?

2023.06.02 22:57 LordGarak Inexpensive Directional antenna for 700Mhz public safety band?
With recent wildfires in my area I've been listening the public safety band and I'd like to get a better antenna. Currently I'm using a 1/4 wave ground plane antenna that I quickly scrapped together. But I'd like to get something with some gain and front to back ratio. I don't hear most of the talk groups on the local repeater and I can just barely see the next repeater on the water fall.
Ideally I'd like to be able to null out the local repeater and put some gain behind the distant repeater.
Has anyone tried any of the cheap LTE antennas I'm seeing on Aliexpress and Amazon? The specs are vague at best on these. I'm wondering if they have any actual gain down around 770Mhz?

2023.06.02 22:53 AfricaAndChill The guy I (32M) fell for is falling for a friend I introduced him to.
Some important context: I (32M) previously spent a couple of years in a foreign country, where I learned to speak the native language to a high degree of fluency. When I returned to my home country, I continued taking online language lessons in that language to maintain the momentum (I’m still taking those lessons to this day, and my proficiency is very high).
Being able to speak the language allowed me to break into the small-ish community of individuals from that country who are based in my home country, and because of this I was able to make a very good friend (who I will refer to as ‘A’ (28M) from now on). A is honestly one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever met, and we instantly became good friends! The fact that he is also gay just gave us so much more to relate on and talk about. A has a boyfriend who lives in another country, and I’ve met him and really like the two of them! It’s probably worth adding that A and I have never had any romantic feelings towards each other. We view each other as brothers and that’s how deep our connection goes. A is disarmingly good-looking, but I’ve never been attracted to him because he’s always had a bf since I met him, and I don’t play like that.
A month ago, I met someone from that same country I previously lived in on Grindr. I’ll call this person ‘B’ (30M). B had just moved to my home country. Of course we got to chatting right away, and things instantly got off to a great start. We met up the next day and had dinner together at a restaurant not far from where we both live (he lives in the same neighborhood as me), and then the following day we met up for drinks and he invited me over to his place, where we hooked up. The 2 months that followed were like something out of a movie. We worked out together (both like to do so), spent the days exchanging messages whenever we could between work, he invited me over and cooked dinner for me a couple of times, I showed him around my home country. We hooked up a lot, and cuddled even more. I introduced him to my friends, and my siblings, and everyone loved him… I must admit, it felt like I was on a rollercoaster, but I was so happy…
Given that he wasn’t able to make friends in my country that easily (other than his work colleagues), I decided to introduce B to my good friend A, so that he at least knows someone else who is (1) from his country and (2) gay. This, I thought, would allow B to at least have someone nearby to relate to if ever he felt homesick. Of course A was aware of everything that was happening between B and I, and he was genuinely happy for me and us.
So I went ahead and organized a coffee meet up for all 3 of us, which is where I was finally able to introduce A to B and B to A.
As soon as B laid his eyes on A I knew whatever B and I shared was over. It happened right in front of me, and I can’t explain what it was, but I felt it. Nonetheless, we all had a good time that afternoon, and they exchanged numbers at the end, and while I was driving B back to his apartment he casually mentioned how amazing A is, and how thankful he was that I introduced them.
What happened afterwards has really been a blur. B suggested that we start a group chat with just the 3 of us, just in case we ever want to make plans to hang out, but it actually just turned into B ignoring most of my messages in the group and just engaging with A whenever A said anything. I tried to resume our one-on-one text conversations outside of the group chat, but B, who was always engaging and social in texts before, gradually started taking longer to reply to me, and his replies got shorter and shorter. To the point where I eventually got ignored sometimes (but he would still respond to A in the group if A ever said anything). B knows that A has a boyfriend, so I convinced myself that he’s maybe just excited to know someone else from his home country in this new foreign place.
Then B started leaving flirty comments on A’s social media posts, and that’s when I could no longer deny that B was falling for A. It’s tearing me up so bad because there is nothing I can do about it. I’m practically ghosted at this point, but I’m still in the group chat and can see B sending all these messages to A (most of which A ignores at this point because I think he is also picking up on the vibe), but why can’t it be me like it was in the beginning? It just sucks because I really liked this guy and I’m not over him yet despite all of this… I’ve stopped trying completely, because I know when to cut my losses, but I’m staring to develop an inferiority complex and it’s affecting my overall sense of self…

However, with a film like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the situation is slightly different given Sony's lack of a dedicated streaming service, here's where to watch and stream Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online.
When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across thMiles, Gwen, Peter, and several dozen other Spider-people will be swinging into action when Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse premieres on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. This almost undoubtedly gives Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Flash a run for their money as the biggest superhero movie event of the Summer. Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse had its world premiere at the Regency Village Theatre on May 30, 2023, and is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on June 2, delayed from an initial October 2022 date because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Where To Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Online:
As of now, the only way to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on June 2, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.

How to Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
There's been no official announcement regarding Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's streaming release date, though we know it will eventually be released on Netflix, rather than Disney+ or HBO Max.
In terms of which of the streaming giants Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released on, Netflix will house the film upon its streaming debut. While again, Sony does not have its own dedicated streaming service, a deal was struck in 2021 between the studio and Netflix. The deal, stating that Netflix would stream Sony's films after theatrical release, was penned for 5 years meaning Across the Spider-Verse is part of the arrangement.
While Sony's Spider-Man content is also streaming on Disney+, due to the collaborations between Sony and Marvel Studios in recent years, Across the Spider-Verse will be a Netflix release. While the deal struck between Marvel Studios and Sony may extend to this film, Disney+ is only allowed to begin streaming Sony's Spider-Man releases upon their release on Netflix. As a result, Netflix will be the first streaming service that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on after its theatrical release.
Because it’s airing on FX, you can of course fire up Into the Spider-Verse via FX Now. But in addition, the animated flick is streaming on both fubo (which offers a free trial and has cord-cutting plans starting at $74.99/month; sign up here) and DirecTV (which also offers a free trial and has cord-cutting plans starting at $64.99/month.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in Theaters?
Not only was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse the subject of rave reviews, but it also pulled in some gargantuan levels of cash at the international box office, with a final tally that quadrupled the film's ninety-million dollar budget. With incredible success like that, it's only natural that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would also be taking advantage of a theatrical release. That is the case, as the upcoming film will be exclusively available in theaters when it premieres on June 2nd, 2023.
When Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be on Streaming?
The Spider-Man franchise is in a pretty interesting place regarding streaming. The various films of Sony's franchise have typically been scattered across multiple services. That said, following a historic deal between Sony and Disney, the many stories of Peter Parker and beyond are now available on Disney+. This includes the original Sam Raimi trilogy, the first Amazing Spider-Man film, and, starting mid-May, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom. Notably absent from the Disney-streaming platform so far are The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Morbius, and most significant of all, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Some of the films are not currently available on the service because Sony has pre-existing partnerships with Starz, as that's where most of the absent films are available to stream. That is except for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is instead only streaming on Fubo TV and FX Now.
If Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes to Disney+ before Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's theatrical run concludes, that would make the House of Mouse's service a likely contender for a streaming release. However, Sony has also historically partnered with Netflix for streaming releases. Up until recently, that's where Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was available to stream, and Sony still brings their other big releases to the service, like Bullet Train and The Woman King.
When will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse be streaming on Netflix?
Sony Animation’s big new Spider-Man movie is about to hit theaters and will be headed to Netflix (at least in the United States) later this year. For a prediction as to when and a bit more about the new movie, here’s what you need to know.
As we covered in 2021, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be headed to Netflix as the service gets both Sony’s animation and live-action content via a first window deal struck in April 2021.
The deal stipulates that all Sony theatrical movies come to Netflix in the first window, which at a minimum, is 120 days after its theatrical release date. If it arrives exactly 120 days after, it’ll be streaming from September 30th, 2023.
With that said, given how big this movie is, we may see it release a few weeks after the fact. Either way, we expect the movie to be available between late September and November 2023.
Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be Streaming On Netflix?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix approximately in December 2023.
In 2021, Sony and Netflix signed a five-year deal that gave the latter exclusive first-pay-window U.S. streaming rights for Sony Pictures titles after their theatrical and home entertainment windows. Fans can expect to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix six months after the film’s theatrical release, thus in December 2023. The date seems reasonable considering that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped on Netflix on June 26, 2019, six months after its U.S. release on December 14, 2018. The pay-one window usually begins about nine months after a film’s theatrical release, but it might start earlier in particular cases.
Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be On HBO Max?
No, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be Streaming On Disney+?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is also coming to Disney Plus approximately in 2025.
Once the pay-one window runs its time and Netflix’s exclusive rights expire, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on Disney Plus. The pay-one window might last as long as 18 months, which means it will be a while before Disney Plus subscribers can watch the much-anticipated sequel. Unlike in other countries, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse isn’t yet available on the Disney-owned streamer in the U.S.
American fans will have to wait until 2024 to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and at least until 2025 for its sequel. We will update this post once there is an official Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Disney Plus release date.
Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new Marvel's animation movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

You can also rent or buy the movie on iTunes or Google Play. You can also watch it on-demand or on a streaming app available on your TV or streaming device if you have cable.
When Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be on DVD and Blu-ray?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will likely be coming to DVD and Blu-ray around the same time as the streaming release. With theatrical films, on average, coming to streaming sooner than ever (usually ninety days after theatrical release), we'll likely see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse get a DVD, and Blu-ray release no later than Fall 2023.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Cast and Characters

What is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse About?
Returning with many of your favorite characters, including Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, Peter B. ParkeSpider-Man, and of course Miles Morales as our primary Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set one year after the events of the previous film. Miles (Shameik Moore) is coming into his own as Spider-Man when he is unexpectedly approached by Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) with an extraordinary opportunity. Does Miles want to help a team of Spider-People, led by Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) protect the multiverse from the terrifying threat of a man known as The Spot (Jason Schwartzman)?
Obviously, Miles is going to say yes, setting him up for an adventure that will expand this movie’s concept of the multiverse in every possible way. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse promises tons of new characters and worlds, without losing sight of what people have come to love about this particular Spider-franchise.
Miles Morales has become a massively popular Spider-Man, and you can be certain he’ll be at the center of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’s chaotic blend of action, comedy, comic book aesthetics, and large-scale science fiction. It seems more likely than not that Across the Spider-Verse will be the biggest animated release of 2023.us

2023.06.02 22:46 john_oldcastle My Favorite Dead (vol 1): Avalon Ballroom 10/12/68 (long post)
10/12/68 Avalon Ballroom “it’s a foxtrot, and also a ladies choice” In a way, this is my Deadhead origin story. It's 1989. I was 14 and had just discovered “classic rock." My native musical tendencies at the time, trended around 80s hip-hop (Run-DMC, Beastie Boys), thrash metal (the big 3) and various NWOBHM—particularly Iron Maiden. The weird, disturbing/cartoonish/horror iconography and imagery were important to 14 year old me ( I guess in a way, I was primed for the Dead.)
Anyway, around this time I had an older cousin who hipped me to Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, and The Doors. Also, that summer was the 20th anniversary of Woodstock, and MTV aired the Wadleigh film I think several times. I was absolutely spellbound. I taped most of the film to a VCR cassette and probably
watched Alvin Lee and Ten Years After’s blissed out performance of I’m Going Home everyday for like 3 months. I wanted Alvin Lee’s whole Woodstock vibe injected directly into my veins. I had become a wannabe hippie.
This neo-hippie vibe seemed to infect my whole friend group. We all read the Beats and Huxley’s The Doors of Perception and traded 60s/70s tapes—Floyd, The Who, The Doors, Cream. We of course started smoking pot and spending hours spacing out to psychedelic music or re-watching Fantasia, Heavy Metal, or 2001 for the umpteenth time. It was all way more interesting than Motley Crue or Winger or Bon Jovi or whatever the fuck MTV was doing.
And of course, I had heard of Grateful Dead by then—I was like 12 when “Touch of Grey” was a hit. And they were a big mainstream rock band in 1989. The news ran segments on them when they came to the area.
But initially, I thought they were kinda lame and corny--like the Beach Boys and Kokomo. Sure, the imagery was dope—like one would expect from a metal or hard rock band. But the Dead were definitely and (for me at the time) disappointingly not hard rock. And those Dead guys for sure did not look like the bad ass dudes from Slayer. From what little I heard, I was not impressed. But how to access the good stuff I knew must be there?
In a way I am a little envious of young people discovering music today. It’s all out there. Want to get into Bob Dylan? You can spend a long weekend online listening to his discography and reading countless essays about his art and emerge as a fairly knowledgeable Dylan fan 3 or 4 days later. The Dead may take a bit longer to fully grok, but all the shows are online and there is no shortage of info about where to start. These days, an intrepid neophyte could get a broad understanding of the Dead in a week or two.
In 1989, I was flying blind. It’s weird to think about how differently we used to conceptualize and listen to rock music back then. At the time rock music was rooted in mystery and scarcity. I was limited to the maybe twenty or so cassettes I had, which I listened to over and over and over again. All I knew about rock music was what I saw on MTV, read in Spin or Rolling Stone, or heard about from friends, older cousins, and siblings.
So when I looked to get into the Dead, I had little bearing for which to set my course. I picked up Aoxomoxoa at the mall because the cover looked cool. And…it was okay. Look, compared to some of the other classic rock era albums I had been exposed to by that time it just didn't really rock or roll very much. At the time, I much preferred
Blue Cheer’s Vincebus Eruptum to Aoxomoxoa (and I kinda still do).
Anyway, fall of 1989 was the beginning of high school. New people and new cliques. This kid who became part of our group had a Deadhead older brother in college. And he had the goods. For the price of one or two Maxells, we could get a bootleg. Since I knew next to nothing, I asked for a show he liked. He gave me an aud from a 78 show (a show I actually like now!). At the time however, this seemingly failed even more than the Aoxomoxoa album. The sound was muddy and murky, and some of the songs reminded me of Jimmy Buffett on quaaludes.
But side 2 of tape 3 was called “Filler: Set 2 Avalon 1968.” It listed four songs like this: “Dark Star>St. Stephen>Eleven>Death What the fuck is this? Filler? I wanted killer, and now I was getting filler? Hmm. I’d heard of Dark Star. I knew St. Steven from Aoxomoxoa. “Death” was certainly intriguing. Alright, let’s give it a go…
…
(cut to scenes of dude’s face melting in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the guy’s head exploding in Scanners, the scientists learning to talk to the UFO in the last act of Close Encounters, the Sasquatch/mushroom scene in Tenacious D’s Pick of Destiny, Andy Dufrane standing in the rain after escaping Shawshank) …
THE SHOW This is it. This is where I
GOT IT. 10/12/68 is what turned the worm for me. Actually, it was just the first set at first, though I was able to get the second set a few weeks later—ah, yes, thank you, this is the bus I was waiting for…
This is pure, uncut Primal Dead. For me, this show is exhibit A of Jerry Garcia as a swaggering gun slinging guitar god. His playing is full of snarling psychedelic attitude and creativity (I think he’s playing a Les Paul here?). You know how Phish people used to refer to “Machine Gun Trey?” Yes, well, here we have Flame Thrower Jerry.
Let’s consider Grateful Dead in the fall of 1968. This show occurs at a time when Pigpen and Weir had presumably been kicked out of the Dead. In the days leading up to the Avalon shows on the 12th and 13th Jerry, Phil, Mickey and Bill were kinda sorta rethinking the Dead line-up w/the “Mickey and the Heartbeats” shows played at the crosstown Matrix on the 8th, 9th and 10th.
Indeed, Pig did not play on the 10/12 Avalon show. For his part Weir does what he can rhythmically as Jerry, Phil, Mickey, and Billy lay waste to all before them. I mean, you’ve got to love a band that fires a dude and then just lets them stick around and earn the job back. Knowing the back story now, this show almost seems like some kind of trial by fire for ol’ Bob. I mean, imagine trying to keep up with this music? In short, this is elemental, fire-breathing psychedelic acid rock played by young men with something to prove.
The Dark Star is early—not as open ended as 72-74 Dark Stars. The Live/Dead version, recorded about six months later, is perhaps more mature and developed, but this one has off-the charts energy and inventiveness. This is my favorite of the early Primal Dead, pre-72 Dark Stars.
I think The Eleven here is an all-timer. Jerry and Phil conjuring viscous curlicues of dark light while Bill and Mickey lock into some kind of inter-galactical syncopation. And the Death Don’t Have No Mercy is just phenomenal. My personal favorite. Jerry really goes for it—he never apes the blues, but he makes it his own. Really passionate guitar playing and even more passionate vocals.
Like the Dark Star here, The Other One would range farther (furthur? lol) out in the future, but this version is just a snarling beast, dripping with liquid magma and unrelenting energy. Likewise, the jam on New Potato Caboose scales the holy psychedelic summit of bliss.
For personal reasons, of course, 10/12/68 is one of my favs. This is a great show to check out if you are looking for raw, primal 60s Dead—an interesting companion to Live/Dead.
It’s also a good gateway show, especially for rockers. I got a few hard rockers turned on to the Dead through this show. The balls-out energy and talent is palpable. Years ago, I played The Other One from this show to an Army buddy who likes metal like Mastadon and Opeth. About halfway through he low whistled and said, “Goddamn, that hippie motherfucker is playing the shit out of that guitar. Gotta respect that.”

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse had its world premiere at the Regency Village Theatre on May 30, 2023, and is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on June 2, delayed from an initial October 2022 date because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It seems more likely than not that Across the Spider-Verse will be the biggest animated release of 2023.sdf

2023.06.02 22:41 maddudy i got scammed/tricked now what?
first i want to say i knew it was a scam from when he first PM'ed. i went along with it to see how it worked and maybe somehow take some of his money. didn't think for a second i was going to lose my stuff cause i'm not a idiot (i'm wrong big idiot) and won't fall for a scam........
also bad with words and explaining stuff so sorry if i sound like the idiot i am or dont make sense.
so how it worked
random pm'ed something about giving me money.
meet at GE, start telling me what to do. helper1 runs up and calling him a scammer. scammer tells me to hop worlds.
helper1 tells me about how this scams works and how they tried it on him the day before, what happened and what i shouldn't do or do and how to take scammers money.
i then hop worlds,i follow to wild wall, tells me a few random crap on why i should do what he tells me to.
trades me wild skull, go in to wild, explain a few more things to make it more believable. tell me to join the whatever group thing so he can see my inventory. tell him my worth. show him the rare i have 3 santas , t90 weapons and whatever else.
whole time telling something about trading me money and runes for tele grab. and then tele grab the coins behind the tree when his buddy drops it.
helper1 telling me in PM after he trades me money i just leave. and dont use tele grab.
go over wall and tell me to change to normal spell book. stand right next to wall and use any spell without runes on helper2 who is outside of the wall to prove to him im on normal spell book. so i do it and i turn to helper2.
tells me to change to legacy mode. went to trade me something and he declined and ask why didn't i bring my items. we go get them. tells me to drain prayers at some point, drained half turned it off, somehow he knew i wasn't full drained????? (explain this part to me how he know?)
i finish draining prayer. go back over the wall, tells me to use a spell on helper2 like i did before. do it and end up running backward in to the wild where his other buddy was hiding somehow and i didn't see them how????? and i die lose my stuff.
the whole lie was something about making a video for something i didn't really listen.
didn't think helper1 was in on it unit after the fact.
i lost 3 santa, the 3 nox weapon, Inquisitor staff , masterwork spear, Spear of Annihilation(i found and made). only good thing i didnt bring everything i showed him or would have lost more.
im sad to lose my santa i got for 140m each back then. i quit the game a few months after Invention came out. started playing again last year in december.
i care more about my lost weapon then i do the santa. i was just going to keep them forever just to have them. typing this out also seem to help calm me down. can someone explain how he knows my prayer point? and why using a spell change how i moved.
so what i want to know now, does jagex help with things like this or at least ban the people who did this? or do anything to them. i do have a few screenshots of a some of the people who took part in this if jagex wants them. or do i share it here so everyone of you knows who did this?
im sure the scammer who did this are also reading this and calling me a idiot.
thanks for reading

2023.06.02 22:35 ApolloIV IMO, the thing this game needs most at the moment is a balancing pass
I agree with everyone else that there is a content drought (despite my defense of FS on this sub), but I think a relatively quick way to freshen up the game would be to make use of the assets they already created and make more weapons/builds viable by buffing them. The best recent example of this in action was the plasma. It was pretty underused before the buff but now feels like a totally new weapon and opens up a fresh experience.
In my mind the most glaring example of this is essentially ALL of the chain weapons. These are some of the most iconic weapons in 40k, but they require a disproportionate amount of effort from the player to still fall short of “guy with axe”. Part of the fun of this game, to me, is the power fantasy of mowing down enemies with super cool weaponry. Even though axe with brutal momentum is one of the more efficient/meta builds, man it’s lame conceptually. Doubly so for the knife. I don’t want to step into this insane Grimdark universe where there are warp entities, possibly pyskinetic orks, a mind-bogglingly large empire held together by a corpse on a throne, unfathomably large hordes of world- devouring creatures, godlike space marines….and just be guy holding knife. Make the super awesome chain greatsword or axe viable without requiring animation canceling or other high level techs!
Another example would be the recon lasguns. We have multiple versions of this gun that could be so much fun to use and freshen up the experience…but they’re so bad as to almost be griefing to use above malice. I really wanted to love this weapon but it’s just impossible right now.
FS obviously has a content bottleneck for whatever reason, so they should at least make all of the content they’ve already put man/woman hours into usable. Worst case scenario if they overtune something, it’s a coop game. What’s the worst that can happen, one class/group of weapon users has too much fun for a week or two?
Thanks for coming to my TEDX talk

2023.06.02 22:32 detborndetbred 5 Holes of Smoke. How to get back?
I’ve now played a grand total of 54 holes in my career. 102 best score, 116 worst score.
On my last round (the 102), I was playing alone and played through a group of two on hole 5, and smoked my 4w 225 down the center of the fairway right in front of them, after telling them I was a beginner but would stay ahead of them alone in my cart, and shot double bogey on that hole but they couldn’t see.
Next tee I got backed up into a group of 3, who I reluctant joined after they asked, and told them I was just learning. The next four holes, I was all smoke. Par, Par, Bogey, Par. Pure stripes off the tee, confident irons to the green, and one or two puts down the hole.
It felt so damn good to play like that in front of people who I didn’t know, who were solid PaBogey golfers. Shot a 46 on the front 9 with 3 pars (had a couple of doubles and a blow up to start)
After the turn, which was my last par, I kinda fell apart, shot a 56, and missed breaking 100.
A lot of it felt like just being ‘in the groove’… but I’m wondering if there is anything systematic I can do to get back there, or if I am ever back there, that will help me do so more consistently?
Would love some tips there.
I’m having a blast and I’m lucky to be able to play basically whenever I want. Learning anything at 35 is tough, but it’s a really fun game.
Goal is to hit balls almost daily, play 18 1-2x a week, and be in the 90s consistently by end of the fall. I want to be able to play with my friends who are scratch and not be an embarrassment:)

At San Diego Comic-Con in July, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had other people raising eyebrows when he said that his long-awaited superhero debut in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse would be the beginning of “a new era” for the DC Extended Universe naturally followed: What did he mean? And what would that kind of reset mean for the remainder of DCEU's roster, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the rest of the Justice League, Suicide Squad, Shazam and so on.As
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse neared theaters, though, Johnson clarified that statement in a recent sit-down with Yahoo Entertainment (watch above).

2023.06.02 22:22 Cpt-Kickass Some things from watching the series thus far [Spoilers]
Things I wish they did:
(1) The split between Colony House and the Town should be between those that accept their fate and want to live their lives and those that still think they can get out. In Colony House you adjust to the idea that you can't go out at night and cope the best you can. You farm, you build, you celebrate holidays, you party, keep the doors/windows closed at night, and live the best life that allows. Because, ultimately, the talismans make it not so bad [more on this later]. You can raise a family and have a pretty good life.
The town are for people who still think they can get out. They spend their days trying to find a way out, experimenting on the monsters, recording things they learn, and figuring out the safest way to live. This includes endless spit balling and scheming about ways to get out. What captive humans do in any bad situation. And as they struggle to get out they run out of ideas and motivation. Eventually they can retire to colony house or maybe move back and forth like soldiers from the front.
Ultimately though, not everyone can handle their new reality which leads to:
(2) Deaths. Some people will want to die or are sentenced to death and they should be given an opportunity to die a useful death. By that, I mean answering questions like "What if we threw a molotov cocktail at them?" or "Can we trap them in a pit?" or "Are they vulnerable to water". Effectively suicide by monster but with each death a theory can be tested and something learned. Plus, there are some great scenes here:
START SCENE
Town peeps looking out a window at night
Dude facing a monster with a bucket of water
Dude throws bucket of water on monster
Monster rips dude's face off
"You dumb mother fucker. Water? The entire planet is covered with water. It fucking rains you idiot. How the fuck are monsters going to survive the rain if they're hurt by water? I swear to God. We do these to give their deaths purpose. What fucking purpose did that have?"
"Jeez Jim, it was just an idea. And it worked in that one movie"
END SCENE
You can also do it the other way. Have a guy that always suggests trying water and gets ridiculed for it. Make it a series long running joke. Water dude dies towards the end and as an homage they finally try water. Same scene as above except the water is ridiculously effective. Like chain reaction explosions of monsters effective. Then cut to credits and end the series.
IMHO, the above dynamics give an effectively infinite amount of problems and story lines to explore. Both groups face realistic challenges and will have any number of successes or failures along the way. You don't have to fall into this lazy cycle where people don't talk and scenes get cut before anything meaningful happens.
(3) I wish they'd been a bit more consistent/realistic about what they have to do to survive. They should be sustenance farmers and somewhat reliant on what future arrivals bring. But they don't seem to work very hard and stuff like pancakes randomly shows up. Lots of story lines here too. Like can you imagine the first time someone showed up with a dime bag that had a seed? Colony house would be bumping. Also works for the town too. Cars can show up with new things that can be tried against the monsters.
(4) I wish they were a bit smarter. Like there should be a speech ready to go for new arrivals and maybe like a book that everyone writes in their first night. They shouldn't be so ham fisted and I think most people would believe a well delivered explanation. Some might not. Especially those that arrive later in the day. Another good realistic source of story lines. Windows should be boarded up, gas should be scavenged, hideouts prepared, and things of that nature.
(5) Similarly, wish the monsters were less invulnerable and supernatural. Like have them die if they get shot or maybe give a human armed with an axe a fighting chance. That presents a natural problem (how much ammo do we got?) and feeds into the idea that they might escape some day. Gives purpose to the story lines where they're fighting back. With how the monsters are there's no plausible way for the humans to fight back. Gonna have to invent some silly unrealistic counter because right now they're immortal.
Musing:
(1) This is basically how humans have lived for most of their existence. They weren't confined to buildings, but wander outside the huddle of yurts and the danger is the same. Instead of a monster, you might get ambushed by a lion. And they might want to eat your yummy liver before bothering with making sure you're really dead. Stay in the village at night or risk horrible death but otherwise safe during the day.
(2) I think going back to sustenance farming is far worse than the monsters. Like you gotta board up the windows and stay inside at night. But that's a relatively minor inconvenience if you had the niceties of modern life even if you had to farm your food. Not so bad to farm during the day, watch the sun go down and then hang out for the night. I suppose you'd eventually even get used to the monsters calling for you to come out.
(3) Without modern medicine and conveniences life is a lot harder. Like stub your toe and maybe you die harder. You'd watch half your children die and would be at pretty serious risk yourself. Today it'd be a tragedy if a kid died and death for a random healthy adult is a pretty freak occurrence.

"But you big munstah, why you scaweed
of hoomans?" asked Blue, her voice muffled by the raw boar meat she chewed on. The taste wasn't pleasant, but she knew it was necessary for her survival. Beside her stood a lumbering monster, an ogre over a hundred times her size, gnawing on a drumstick that dwarfed the little fluffy.
"Hoomans think ogre dumb and stupid munstah, so hoomans take fire stick and burn ogre house," grumbled the Ogre after swallowing a massive chunk of red flesh. His deep voice rumbled through the air.
"Ogre ask you, widdle fwuffy, why did hoomans kick you?" Blue paused, her fluffy cheeks stained with tears. The memories haunted her more than any woodland monster ever could.
"Mommeh no wike fwuffy no mo', mommeh handed me to meanies," she whimpered, her voice barely audible over the crunching of bones in the Ogre's mouth.
"Stupid little shitbag," said one of the boys, his voice dripping with malice as he kicked the defenseless fluffy into the dirt. Blue curled up in a fetal position, her soft fur tainted by dirt and fecal matter.
"Fwuffy not stupid, fwuffy wuv' mommah!" Blue exclaimed, her tiny voice quivering with desperation.
"Let's cut off his limbs, I wanna see him dance without them," jeered another boy sadistically. "
You like to dance, shit-rat?" he taunted, a knife glinting in his hand. Just as the boys prepared to inflict further harm, the ground beneath them began to tremble. They froze, their eyes widening in terror as they turned to look at the nearby woods. The tremors spread, shaking not only the ground but also the injured fluffy.
"What the fuck is that?" one of the rowdy peasant boys managed to stammer out, his voice laced with fear.
A towering figure emerged from the depths of the woods, casting a long shadow over the boys. Its eyes glowed like fire, piercing through them with an intensity that sent shivers down their spines.
"Monster!!!" they screamed in unison, their faces drained of color, and they fled in terror, leaving the defenseless fluffy behind.
"Munstah, munstah!!!" Blue screamed, flailing her little hoofed feet in a vain attempt to ward off the giant before her.
"No wan fowebah sweepies, no wan' be munstah nummies!!!" But the giant, the Ogre, looked at her with a mixture of pity and understanding. With his enormous hands, he gently scooped up the frightened fluffy, cradling her in his protective embrace.
"You okay, widdle one?" he asked, his voice filled with soothing warmth as he softly stroked Blue's velvety fluff.
The Ogre scanned the surroundings, his gaze sweeping across the village with a mix of caution and concern, before his massive frame turned and he began to stride away, each step shaking the earth beneath him. In his immense hands, he cradled the delicate, wounded fluffy creature, its fragile form dwarfed by his colossal fingers.
Blue's tears subsided as she stopped reminiscing. She takes a moment to catch her breath, her wide, watery eyes locking with the Ogre's.
"Why you save me, big munstah?" she inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity and gratitude.
"Ogre escapin' from the 'metal people.' Ogre came across a poor injured widdle one. Had to help," the Ogre explained, his deep voice carrying a hint of sorrow.
"Mommah always said to stand up for the widdle ones." "Fank' you," Blue whispered, a glimmer of hope returning to her damp eyes.
"What's your name, big munstah?" "Ogre name... Ygor... What about you, widdle one?" Ygor asked, his voice filled with genuine interest.
"Mommeh cawwed me shit-wat, shit-bag, but fwuffy don't feel wight with it," Blue confessed, her voice quivering with vulnerability.
Ygor's expressive face softened, and a warm smile spread across his rugged features.
"Let's call you Blue... I like your fur," he suggested, his voice carrying a hint of fondness.
"Bwoo," Blue replied, her fluffy cheeks puffing up with a joyful smile.
As Blue settled into the safety of Ygor's embrace, a hollow bubbling sound echoed through the air. The fluffy's stomach churned, and she winced in pain, collapsing to the ground, clutching her belly.
"You okay, widdle one?" Ygor asked, concern etched across his face.
"Tummy huwties," Blue sobbed, her voice filled with anguish.
Unbeknownst to the poor Ogre, fluffies couldn't digest raw meat, causing Blue great discomfort.
Meanwhile, a group of knights clad in gleaming armor, appearing as if they were made entirely of metal, arrived at the village. The villagers flocked to them in a state of worry and desperation, seeking their aid.
"My son was almost killed by a monster!" cried a woman, her voice trembling with fear as she cradled a scared boy in her arms—the very same boy who had tormented Blue.
"SAVE US!" pleaded the villagers, their voices filled with desperation and hope.
"Calm down, we're here to hunt down your monster, but we need your help," the leader of the knights announced, his voice projecting authority and reassurance.
TEASER FOR CHAPTER 2: Witch As Blue falls ill to the raw meat given to him, Ygor must take the poor fluffy to the only doctor he knows... Cornelia, the forest witch.

2023.06.02 22:15 DeeTastic95 The Rock House
I am a 28 year old female. The story I’m about to tell you happened back in 2016 with my best friend Chris
Now every since the day Chris and I met we have always got ourselves in the dumbest things ever. I mean Chris ran away once and had my nerves all messed up. But He came back because he had no money. We were not the smartest teens but we still enjoyed life.
So one summer night Chris and I were hanging and we were trying to think of a place to explore (like we always did). At the time I told him I’ve never been to the old Rock House In Greenwood South Carolina. ( Now before I get started let me give you a little History on the Rock house. A man named Thomas “Tom” Payne Tolbert built a “Fire Proof House” in 1926. The fireproof house was constructed entirely from stone, concrete, glass, and steel. After years of family homes burning down. Tolbert lived in the detached kitchen and used the large house to store family heirlooms. Tolbert lived his later years in isolation.) The now-crumbling fortress is accessible only by foot, and no one has ever lived inside its walls. You can look up way more about the History online if you like.
No back to my story. I’ve always been told the Rock House has many spirits in and around it but like I said at the time I’ve never been to it. So with that said. Chris and I took my cousins car and headed out to the Old Rock House. I’ve heard of people going in the day time but never heard people say they went at night. We being dumb went at night because why not. Ghost and spirits never bothered me to much being that I’ve seen them my whole life.
Once we pull up to the woods and park on the side of the road I get the bad feeling run all over my body. I sit there for a moment. I believe Chris sees this look on my face and ask if I still want to do this. Something is telling me not to get out but at the same time I want to see this place even at night.
“Yeah let’s go see how scary this place is” I told him. “Hell yeah let’s do it!” he replied. We get out and start walking threw the woods. As we are walking we have our phones out for light and we are making jokes acting silly like we always do. We can never take anything seriously no matter what. As we are walking we don’t realize how quite it is to be in the woods… at night… in the middle of summer…
We find our way to the front of the house. Chris is in front of me and we are looking at the house. No front door and no windows. All you can see is pure darkness. For some reason I just can’t move even though Chris is walking to what used to be the door. At this moment I realize we are in complete darkness and there are no sounds. No animals, no bugs no wind or anything. Just pure silence. Then out of the corner of my eye I see something in the top left window. But before I completely look I hear something to the left of me and I look over. But I see nothing. Only the darkness. A feeling of dread falls over me but nothing is there. Chris is now at the door of the house and looks inside. I look at the windows and there it is. Something is there in the window looking down at me. My body turns cold. Those eyes. I’ll never forget those eyes burning a hole in my soul. Bright yellow redish eyes like fire. All of a sudden I hear Chris say “Oh Hell No” He turns to run to me but my body is still frozen. He grabs my wrist and pulls me to run. He never lets me go. As we are running we are jumping over falling trees and everything on the ground that people have left over time. As we run I realize something is running beside us and I don’t dare to look back.
My body is now in pilot mood as Chris has the grip still on my wrist pulling me. My mind is blank and my heart is racing. At one point I feel like I can feel the breath of what ever is chasing us.
The moment we make it to the car everything comes back to me and I’m back in control of my mind and body. We jump In the car and Chris goes to start the car he has is face covered in the string wheel as he tries to start the car... but… it’s dead! THE CAR IS DEAD! We start freaking out with my head buried between my legs and Chris still hiding his face I yell out “THIS IS IT CHRIS THIS IS HOW WE DIE! THIS IS WHY US WHITE PEOPLE DIE IN MOVIES BECAUSE WE DO DUMB SHIT LIKE THIS!” Chris yells back at me “Shut up we are not going to die the car will start!” I can still feel this thing outside of the car. Its just there. Is this why there are so many spirits here? Does it take the souls of people who it has caught come here? I feel it looking at us. Something wants me to look at it but at the same times a voice in my head is telling me not to. I want to cry.
The car starts and Chris tries to speed off. We start going dowm the road but then… one of the ties blew. We are now on the side of the road again and we just sit there not wanting to get out. It’s quite again. The feeling of being watched is still there. Luckily for us a guy in a truck pulls up behind us. I feel safe right now. The guy pulls over and helps Chris change the tire. I hold my phone as a light with my back to the woods. I still have that feeling. I want to turn and see what is there but I dare not to. Something is telling me not to look.
After the tire gets fixed we head to the Huddle House close by to calm down. The poor lady working that night sees something is wrong and with what little money we have the lady helps us pay for a meal.
The next few days Strange things start happening around my house. For example I’m in the kitchen fixing something for lunch. My roommate and I are talking like normal and the cutting board goes flying across the kitchen. See gives me this looks and says. “See what you caused! Shit keeps happening for no reason all because you want to visit haunted places.” I pick up the cutting board. At this point I feel like I need to make things right. I've always been told that if you disturb the dead that you have to make things right. So with that being said. That weekend I go see some friends who doesn’t live for from the Rock House and tell them I need to go there so we do. This time it’s full daylight. Once we get there I still have this feeling but I don’t say a word. Once we get to the house my friends go in to look around. They explore the place. Inside and out. I look to the left of me and see nothing but the feeling is there. My body is weak. As I walk in I look in the direction that Chris saw something at. Then I look into the room to the left of me and see the room is full of designs in paint all over the room. The whole house is cover the same way. But there is something about this one room. I walk into the room. There is a Pentagram with all the markings around it. I walk over to it and examine it closely.
I walk around it seeing if it’s done right and to my eyes I see that it is. I yell out to my friends “Hey I think someone tried to summon a demon or something!” As soon as the words leave my mouth something comes crashing down. I nope the hell out of there and just start running out of the house sadly leaving my friends inside not meaning to. All I do is run through the woods yelling “I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry!” I don’t stop until I’m out of the woods.
My friends come after me wondering what is going on so I tell them about the other night and what just happened as well. At this point I just want to leave. We all get into the car. The friend driving goes to start the car… it’s dead… just like the other night but in a different car. My mind goes back to the other night this big dark creature comes to mind for some reason. I never seen it before. Was it the thing chasing us that night? Was it putting itself in my mind to scare me more? So many questions. I try my best not to freak out. I called my roommate to come pick us up. As we are waiting a car pulls up. He must live on this road and knows what happened. He says every time someone goes to the house their car is dead when they get back. He helps jump start the car and we go down the road. I see my roommate and I jump out of the car and jump into mine. I speed off as fast as I can wanting to get as far away from this place at possible. My friends meet me at my house and I made a promise to my self to never go back to the Rock House.
For some reason Chris and I stopped hanging out. We didn’t get in a fight or anything we just stopped being friends and we never spoke about what happened that night until a few weeks again. We both seemed to have forgotten that night. I called him and asked him what it was that he saw that night inside the house to make him do what he did. He doesn’t remember what he saw but he remembers that night. I thought I wouldnt forget but I did until a few weeks ago... Someone told me that a brain will block out something so traumatizing that you won’t remember what happened and live your life like normal. Maybe that’s what our brains did for us so we won’t live in fear forever.
Now its 2023 and now that I remember this I told this story recently to a few of my friends at work and one person told me they want to visit The Rock House. I told them no they don’t but they really want to not believing in Ghost and has never experienced anything Ghostly. So I said “Go if you want but I promise you I won’t be going back to that place ever again and once you do you won’t go back there either. The witch that used to live behind me didn’t scare my as much as what ever was in the woods that night.” Yes a witch used to live in the property beside the house I lived at back then and passed away or so we thought... Crazy things happened at night around the inside and outside of house but that… is a story for another time.

2023.06.02 22:10 justforlulz12345 The future
The timeline:
2024: Developing international crisis, war starts to erupt. It seems that activation of the nuclear arsenals is inevitable.
5.13.24 (May 13, 2024): Nukes go flying. But amidst them, the U.S. has developed an antimatter bomb in secret, which gets dropped on Russia. But this antimatter bomb isn't normal. It's an antimatter bomb, using antimatter to react with normal matter, releasing very large quantities of energy. A half gram can create a Hiroshima.
Of course, you'll have the typical perils of nuclear war. Near-complete destruction of all participant nations, as well as radiation and nuclear winter affecting even the countries that didn't participate. But the antimatter bomb will introduce another aspect completely. The large amounts of antimatter that react with normal matter will tear a hole in this plane of existence.
The rigidity of our plane of existence will lessen, and the very laws of nature will change. We used to have "magic" (Back then, perfectly explainable by science) when our plane was more fluid. Hence why every culture has some folklore about magical creatures and magicians. But as time went on, our plane hardened and this stuff became less possible. Occasionally, paranormal and supernatural occurrences happen, due to small fluctuations in our fluidity caused by interactions with other planes. But, it'll come back in full when the antimatter bomb stretches out our reality again. Beings from other planes of existence will rush through, and new ones will rapidly evolve on Earth due to the loosened laws of nature. Once again, these monsters existed long ago, but went away, hence why we have folklore about vampires and zombies and whatnot.
It'll be the end of human civilization and possible human extinction. I personally know that I survive until 5 AAB (After Antimatter Bomb). I have been hiding out in a large bunker in Stockholm until now, the above ground overrun by dangerous creatures. But a group of "Hyperboreans'' (large 11ft tall humanoids) armed with crossbows penetrates the bunker and kills everyone inside on 8.21.29 (August 21st, 2029). That is the end of my story, and humans story. The last human stronghold in the Congo falls in 2038. After that, wild humans will be one of the creatures roaming a now lawless Earth.
In due time, non humans will take over the ashes of our civilization and rebuild it better, without the intrinsic sins of humans that were our downfall. This could happen by 250 AAB/2274 AD at the earliest, after the radiation and nuclear winter has subsided. For sure, by 2500 AAB/4524 AD, another non-human civilization will have begun to rise. Maybe we were a failed experiment and this is all for the best. Maybe we were just a step in the evolution of sapience.
Or maybe it's a false vision meant to trick me. I know of another plane of existence similar to our own where this was supposed to happen in 2021, but never panned out. Depending on your perspective, this possibility that it might not happen is good or bad. Depends on who you are.
My proof (TOKEN OF AUTHENTICITY):
Archer (NATO Training Exercise)
NATO (NATO, party to the conflict 5.13.24)
Time (The time is 5.13.24)
Introspection (How this came to me)
Monsters (what will flood Earth)
Archer (The Hyperborean archers raid my Stockholm bunker. Stockholm = Stockholm Syndrome, what we all have with the system that ends 5.13.24)
Trial (This could be a Trial for humanity)
Tepid (Project Tepid is the code-name of the antimatter bomb, top secret, currently in development by the United States)
End (This will be the end of what we know)
Ripe (Earth will be Ripe for other planes to colonize, for the next non-human successor to build better than us.)
Good tidings!

The witch that used to live behind me didn’t scare my as much as what ever was in the woods that night.” Yes a witch used to live in the property beside the house I lived at back then and passed away or so we thought... Crazy things happened at night around the inside and outside of house but that… is a story for another time.

2023.06.02 22:03 comradetara 33/F had three tonic clonic seizures in a row for the first time. What's happening to me?
Age: 33Sex: FemaleHeight: 5'2Weight: 122 lbsRace: WhitePrimary complaint: Three tonic clonic seizuresExisting medical issues: Depression, anxiety, panic disorder, interstitial cystitisMedications: Zoloft 150mg, Gabapentin 800mg 1 TID, Ambien 10mg, Wellbutrin XL (ER) 300mg, Abilify 5 mgDrink/Smoke/Drugs: No
I know there won't be any answers until I get an EEG and an MRI/have my neurology appointment, but I guess I still wanted to ask here anyways as to any guesses you all might have as to what happened...On 5/27, I was touring the Luray Caverns in VA when suddenly I dropped and began having a "generalized tonic clonic seizure". That morning on the drive to the caverns, I had been feeling like I was going to have a panic attack and had taken a 0.5mg Xanax I keep on hand for panic attacks to counteract it.
Once the tour of the caverns began, I remember being a bit unsteady and stumbling at one point but regaining my balance. As for the rest of it... I have no memory. Like I said, the group heard a noise, turned around, and I was on the ground seizing. Seizure lasted approximately 30-45 seconds. EMS was called and I had another seizure in route that did not require any medication to break. Once in the ER, I experienced a third that lasted 30-45 seconds that was terminated with Ativan. I was experiencing sinus tachycardia as well, hovering around 130. ( per my notes: "sinus tachycardia with preserved intervals and no evidence of obvious toxic effect") I also remained tachy after falling asleep. Per my hospital notes, I told the ER staff my vision had been altered/my vision had been flashing at one point during the panic attack I thought I was having. I was also very nauseous and apparently vomited at some point and was given several IV doses of Zofran.
I take my zoloft at night, but take my wellbutrin and abilify in the AM. The ER doctor suspected I may have accidentally taken an extra dose of Wellbutrin. Head CT was clear, labs were unremarkable other than I was dehydrated. I was given several saline boluses. I have no history of seizures nor any family history of seizures and take gabapentin for interstitial cystitis and decided to take quite a bit of extra that day due to experiencing a flare-up. I have been on gabapentin for 14 years or so and have taken high doses before with no issues and if I understand correctly, gabapentin also works as an anti-convulsant.My memory from that day and the days after it is shot. I flew home to Florida and here I am. I'm pretty sore, my face is scraped up and my cheek bone hurts quite a bit. I've got a black eye. I'm working on getting a referral to a neurologist so I can get checked out, but I wanted to get some opinions on here. It's certainly possible I took an extra dose of Wellbutrin but...I'm so careful about that stuff. I used to be a pharmacy tech... I feel like I pay extra attention, you know? The ER gave me a script for 500mg Keppra BID. I HATE IT. I've skipped taking it a few times, as irresponsible as that is. But I feel it's making me very tired, depressed, and irritable.
I called my psychiatrist's office today and let them know what had happened. If it were epilepsy starting, it probably wouldn't have been three seizures in a row, right? Or is that irrelevant? My psychiatrist ordered me to immediately stop taking it and I'm on her cancellation list to get in to see her. I got a neurology referral from my PCP and their office will be contacting me on Monday to get an appointment set up.
Note: In case it's of any importance, I had some imaging done of my upper back/shoulder in 2007/2008 and it was accidentally discovered that I have "borderline" arnold chiari malformation. However, this was not mentioned/noted on the CT done at the hospital. I did let the doctor know about it and they seemed surprised it wasn't mentioned in the report and...well, after that I don't remember anything.

2023.06.02 21:52 sam081218 I am so scared. No one to talk too. Son has cancer. Life is a mess.
I am so scared. I don’t have anyone to listen. My son has cancer.
My life flipped upside down the day that my 2.5 year old son was diagnosed with AML leukemia. He’s half way thru treatment and I’m terrified about the future. I was an anxious person before all of this and always felt the need to be prepared and safe to weather a storm. This is probably the after effects of a shitty childhood with some fear of abandonment and the unknown and future.
Two weeks before my son was diagnosed my husband told me he wasn’t in love with me. Same husband who threatened to leave me twice while I was pregnant with our second som who is currently 8/9 months. Then he drags me to couples counseling, which fine I’ll go, I’m a therapist myself but proceeds to tell me that the issue is me, sure I’m not perfect, I’m assertive, direct, but I’m one loving and loyal person. So we go and basically the therapist (who we have seen in the past) believes that my husband has some unresolved trauma from his job PTSD that he needs to address which will in return improve our marriage. Well he was to begin that work and then we get hit with this diagnosis.
A month into the diagnosis and he made it clear to me he was interested in having sex. Barf. Have sex while our son is fighting for his life? He will be 3 in November. Will this be his last birthday with us? I hate this cancer world. Everyone either says how they are so sorry, they throw gift cards at us, don’t bother check in or look at me and talk to me with such pity in their eyes and voice that I truly feel like I live in a different world.
I tried therapy individually today for the first time in over ten years and it just brought up so much shit that I think I have repressed and buried, it didn’t help at all. I think it may have caused more harm.
I’ve tried to reach out to other mom groups of kids with cancer and I’ve become obsessed with scrolling their profiles to see if their child made it or not. Nothing is guaranteed. No doctor will tell me that my son will be okay but also no doctor has told me that I am losing my child. Obviously, I want us to all be okay. I had to take a leave from work and we will most likely have to move in the next few years as the location of the expressway in proximity to our home is going to shrink significantly and this will be a health risk onto my son.
I feel like I have to be strong 24/7. I am my son’s primary caregiver. He wants to be with me 24/7, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he falls asleep. We even share the same pillow and shower together. He hates baths and has a central line for chemo so we have to be careful to not get him wet.
I feel like I have no one to talk too and I’m so scared to see what else is to come. I can’t lose my son.

2023.06.02 21:50 Dapper-Ad1836 My (M19) friends 5(M19) and 4(F20) are exhausting me and its kinda my fault.
Okay so my friends like to party , and i mostly used to join them and used to be “the life of the party” but im kinda over that phase but also on the other hand not really. This week i had to work really hard and help my mom with the family business, im exhausted because i worked hard and i also have and anxiety disorder that also really exhausts me. Im not an introvert but it really takes a-lot of effort to go out and spent time with my friends.
I still go out at least once a week with my friends but they go out like at least 2/3 times a week sometimes and i just can’t do it anymore. Once a week is enough for me, sometimes ill go 2 times a week. But i have about 10 friends in my friend group, like 4 of them know i have anxiety and that im exhausted, but they still keep NAGGING me to come out with them. Take note sometimes im totally fine and im not exhausted all the time but its still a lot of effort for me,
So tonight after a long week of working i decided not to go out, take note this is the LAST week we can go out for like the next two months because college exams are starting. I don’t know why they get MAD when I don’t come out with them.
I have to tell them at least 10 times before they accept that im not coming.
Its like they are trying to make me feel guilty by calling me and telling me im “boring” and don’t make effort for them and that we’re not going to be friends anymore if I don’t come (i know they don’t mean it but still), And im falling for it. But i WANT TO GO, but im TIRED AND EXHAUSTED. And im listening to my body tonight.
But why do they get mad? Or disappointed? Like I don’t understand, i party with most them at least once a week/ two weeks. The thing is its a LARGE friend group and i don’t have time for everyone but im close with everyone, and when I don’t have time for everyone some of them gets mad.
Am I making enough time? Is it me or them? Advice? And they are good friends, im just tired and don’t have the time for them that i used to have at his moment.

2023.06.02 21:47 TrueGod92 A Profane Prophecy Fulfilled
In early may 2023 I sat in church with my family. The preacher Approached his podium looking war torn sad, and with a worried look on his face. He raised his hands and said. "I've had dreams of god speaking to me. Hes telling me so much. It's almost incomprehensible to me his words they burn my ears as if a red hot iron is being forced into them. What I can gather from him is that the end times are close, and the seven trumpets shall call it forth. Now my children As your preacher, my intention are to deliver a sermon that not only explains the significance of the seven trumpets being sounded but also encourages individuals to reflect on their own lives and prepare themselves for the end of the world.
The seven trumpets are significant in the book of Revelation as they represent the final warning of God's judgment on the earth. The first four trumpets describe catastrophic events that will result in widespread destruction and devastation. The fifth trumpet describes a swarm of locusts that will torment those who have not been sealed by God. The sixth trumpet describes an army of 200 million that will bring destruction upon the earth, and the seventh trumpet announces the final judgment of God.
The sounding of these trumpets serves as a warning to all of us that the end of the world is near, and we must prepare ourselves accordingly. As we read in the book of Revelation, the effects of these trumpets will be catastrophic, and those who have not prepared themselves will face a terrible fate.
Therefore, we must examine our own lives and make sure that we are prepared for the end of the world. We must ensure that our hearts and minds are focused on God and that we are living our lives according to His will. We must repent of our sins and ask for God's forgiveness, so that we may be sealed by Him and protected from the judgments that are to come.
In conclusion, the sounding of the seven trumpets serves as a warning to us all that the end of the world is near, and we must prepare ourselves accordingly. We must make sure that our hearts and minds are focused on God, and we must repent of our sins and ask for His forgiveness. Let us heed this warning and prepare ourselves for the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
Finishing up he smiled at us all as he pulled a pistol from his robe putting it in his mouth squeezing the trigger and blowing the back of his head apart. Painting the statue of jesus christ behind him with a grotesque mosaic brain matter, skull fragments and so much blood. After the cops were called his building in the church were searched. The two nuns that accompanied him hanging and they're chambers and bleed dry. In his quarters They found the he used the blood and painted on his walls repeatedly. The seventh trumpets shall sound they shall sound. This was painted and cover the entirety of his room. After this was done the church was closed and we never went back.
Then it happened The two witnesses show on june 7th 2023, in an attempt to save humanity, they spread the gospel of God explaining to all those who were willing to listen, but most turned a blind Eye with this. The two witnesses then had no choice, but too have the first of seven trumpets sound. The first Trumpet sounds with the echo across the world. More of a vibration than a noise many people had not known it went off. After it had stopped Hail began to fall from the sky with a drastic change. The Hail went from solid small pieces of ice to pieces of Red hot glass as it hit the ground it burnt everything in touched. Within two weeks it spread across the world. Because of this most of the world's vegetation Burnt to the ground, leaving nothing but melted glass and ash across the lands. With this a three hundred day war breaks out across the world. Nations began to fight for what food was left in the world. As april approached the war ended with no victor. With hundreds of thousands dead the world went into mourning. Realizing that the war caused nothing but harm to the world. Bringing the sadness and pain to all those that had to be involved. Countless families torn apart so many wounded so many dead. Children without fathers or Mother's, wife's mourning Their husbands. mothers screaming and crying over the lose of their children. The world fell silent as it realized that if they had listened Maybe none of this would have happened. None of that mattered now. Now there was too much pain, too much anger, and too much hate. The world blamed god for all this tragedy that had happened to them as a whole. They cursed it's name. Those who had faith in God, Started to doubt they felt as though God itself had left them. How could something so powerful, So all-knowing do this to them. It wasn't fair, was God acting out like a child? How could God be all-powerful and be jealous that not every single being on the Earth showed it Love and loyalty. what kind of power hungry thing Was God? if this is what god was They didn't want to believe they didn't want to follow. They wanted to forget they wanted to abandon it. Seeing this the witnesses called out to the world. Trying the best they could to get everyone to understand why God was doing what it was doing. This caused more problems than good. People started burning churches to spite god. No longer were churches safe no longer could families go and feel safe and at peace. Now churches were taboo and known to be a place of death.
Not having convinced the world the witnesses called forth the second trumpet to sound. The sound of the second trumpet was unlike anything humanity had heard. To most that could comprehend the sound described it as if thunder was crying out in pain. On the last day of April the sky looked as though it was being torn open by the sound of the trumpet. Stopping abruptly people from all over the world could see that the sky had in fact had been torn open like a wound, and from that wound spilled an asteroid that resembled a blood clot. The asteroid was said to be the size of mount everest. Slowly it fell towards the earth. The closer it came to earth the more people felt a sense of dread and sorrow. Knowing that once it hit all would be turned to ash. People stood in shock as the mountain of an asteroid split in to smaller pieces and falling to the world's oceans. Hitting the water with such forces tsunamis to accrue across the plant killing thousands. Over the next few day the pieces decayed into the waters turning them into a viscera soup, killing roughly a third of all sea life. People started smelling the rot that came from the now think blood like ocean waters. Noticing the animals dying out and rotting giving the bloody ocean a acid like state causing those who lived on the waters to die slowly and painful. Soon people left the oceanside for they no longer could fish for food to survive.
In less than a year the world's oceans became a gelatinous mass of blood and gore. Spreading sickness and suffering to most if not all of the world's population the sickness only caused pain and discomfort but never death.
By July 2026 the Temples that once held weekly services to worship and praise God, were now completely abandoned and avoided by all that still lived. Knowing that their voices would fall to deaf ears the witnesses sound led the third trumpet. The sounds a weeping was heard throughout the disease ridden word. Knowing that a new plague approached the weak and trembling people hid the best they could. A flash of green light flooded the sky as a second asteroid came for the heavens. This one devolved in the air turning to light rain. Only hitting the lakes ponds and every other body of water. Seeing that nothing had changed the slowly dwindling population went back to what lives they could live. Unfortunately over the next year many died of was thought to be from dehydration no matter how much water they'd consume. Looking back the people that were left realized that all the waters had been poisoned. Those who survived learned what was safe to drink and what caused a slow labored death. The ones who died suffered incredible pain as their insides turned to a mess of rot and decay. Slowly they'd rot throwing up their literal guts and organs until nothing was left. At the end of the year only a quarter of the earth's population was left. Roaming what was left of the war torn lands searching for some sense of peace only to find rage pain and death at every corner of the world. Then the witnesses sounded the forth trumpet it was a quiet dull sound the next few weeks. The skies began losing light as if the sun was dying. The night sky was now a void of darkness with no stars in sight and a fading moon. Slowly darkness was all the people knew. Christmas came that year some people tried to show they had faith once again. Setting up small groups to share the holiday spirit most were meet with hatred but some were welcomed with loving arms. With their all seeing eyes the witnesses observed with hope that the world was going to change for the betterment of all. Then the new year started with a major power claiming that they held the right to command over what was left in the world for they had more of a population and those who disagreed would be delt with a swift and painful experience. This well, this caused so much to happen and none of it was good. People started looting fight and killing just because they knew they could. There was no rules anymore and people took full advantage of that. What's no hesitation? The witnesses sounded the fifth trumpet. The trumpet Sounded as though A million babies were screaming out in causing everyone to drop to their knees and hold their ears. The sound penetrated them, causing mass hysteria. With an hours of the Trumpet sounding hells Pit of torment Tour open from the Earth's crust and from it, a rupted millions upon millions of locust. Please locust tour through homes, buildings, and people. The sound that they made made people tear At their ears shoving Anything that they could get their hands-on into their own ears Just to stop the sounds from entering their body. This went on for 5 months, then abruptly all that's a locust died. Falling from the sky, as a terrible reminder. Once they all fell to the ground the sixth trumpet screamed out calling forth an army of two million undead warriors, for the next eighteen months they search and brutally attacked and killed close to a third of the male population leaving nothing but death in their wake, once they had accomplished their task they caught fire burning up the locusts and their own bodies to dust. As a calmness came over the world the witnesses came forth speaking of the coming of christ itself, and those who are righteous shall know peace and all others shall know pain and death. In a show of power the witnesses disappeared in a flash of bright blue light and a clap of thunder that shook all that was left. The sky opened as a voice echoed through the ears of all people. Tellimg them to fall to their knees and beg for forgiveness and show that they have true faith in God for if they don't it would strike them down sending them to hell. With much fear, anger, pain, and hatred. People of the world lashed out, calling the so called one true God a false God a sad and jealous God end they would not Worship follow or do, as is it commanded and for it's so-called chosen one, it could also turn back and never return. For they As people of the world would find their own way they could live. Be happy and grow they would turn this world back in to something lavish and beautiful once again. Screaming out to gods so-called prophet youre not needed. Your God is not needed here all of this pain, death and destruction, it was caused by you. And we will be the ones to rebuild it not you Your profit, not your witnesses, us. And only us now close your gates to heaven and hell. Leave us to our own we've already turned our backs on you so you do the same. We don't want you and we don't need you. The sky closed and went dark leaving only the last few survives scattered across the wasteland that was once earth.
