2023.03.22 06:05 ProGoogler4answers It seems kinda boomer-ish to associate the idea of having a job with nuance of 'success' or 'independence'

Ive been outta work for a while, and got made fun of by a girl as she said no girl wants a jobless guy. And that girls have their own jobs now so why should they talk to me?
Which is kind of odd ( as myself having an MS finance, for whatever weight that may carry), because the accounting and math of employment in the US...is far from reflective of efforts, merit, and most of all; is FAR more likely than not, to compensate with wages that are far, far, far below the idea of 'success', or even offer financial independence, let alone appreciable personal savings and goals. Even without that thought, I wouldn't see myself as anything to brag about if I didn't give someone a chance based on their legal employment basis or earnings. And if I did, Id only be fooling myself, because I'd be caught in so many fallacies.
Real world Example: At $12/hour, working full time, as a single person with no dependents, opting for pre-tax deductions of insurances, and then using the adjusted value accordingly to continue on with Federal/State/Local (in my case I dont even have local taxes).
One would net $687/Bi-weekly. That is $1,374/Month. You'd have a hard time finding a place to rent alone, for less than $1000. And that doesnt include utilities.
Okay, so you've managed to somehow pay the deposit , the activation costs of utilities, and I wont even include the costs of moving/furnishing/homecookware etc. You've popped the $1,000, and now have that $374 to spend on showing the world that you ARE succesful and independent! You work full time and work hard! Aha, wait. Even low-balling national median prices for a fraction of your other costs, will exceed this $374 quickly. Cell? $50. Domestic Supplies?( Laundry detergent, hygience/cleaning items) $50. Internet? $50/month...(these are comically low-ball prices btw) Electricity?$80 Food? Ah, well you only have $144 left...From a survival perspective, possible, but you wont feel very good or feel much like yourself. But, what about your car? its insurance? Easily $150-$400/Month. You're already tapped out, exhausted, surviving off rice and beans. But what about your water bill? What about $ to have even a dollar put into a savings account? What about student loans, credit cards, those teeth, your medical co-pays, your Rx costs? Hell, you don't even have $10 if you get a flat tire. You don't even have a few hundred for that rotten tooth in your mouth, to get a root canal and crown.
//////////////
Ok, $12/hour Fulltime scenario is nothing short of a total delusion of financial independence. But, that just means I'm not good enough or smart enough to earn enough! *POOF* WOW! suddenly I am! I make $20/hour. Relative to the rest of the country's wages, this is a rarer wage, and higher than most people's wages in the US.
$20/Hour @ 40-Houweek
$3,200/MONTHLY GROSS WAGES
$38,400/ANNUAL GROSS WAGES
--------------------
Pre-Tax deductions of Health($90/BiWeekly)/Dental($7.5/BiWeekly)/Vision($2.5/BiWeekly)
MONTHLY TOTAL INSURANCES DEDUCTIONS: $200
ANNUAL TOTAL INSURANCES DEDUCTIONS: $2,400
--------------------
MONTHLY TAXABLE WAGES: $3,000
ANNUAL TAXABLE WAGES: $36,000
--------
STATE TAXES: $1,190
FICA: $2,754
FEDERAL: $4,114.38
TOTAL TAXES DUE: $8,058.38
--------
TOTAL WAGES NET ANNUAL: $27,941.62
TOTAL WAGES NET MONTHLY: $2,328.47
TOTAL WAGES NET BI-WEEKLY: $1,164.23

A whopping $2,328.47 for the young stud who earns MORE THAN OVER 2/3 of the nation in wages. Ladies and gentleman give this special little boy a balloon!!
While median rent is reported to be $1,770/Month...Lets have some faith in this earner. But REMEMBER! He is earning a higher wage, its rare for areas with very low rents to commonly feature such jobs. So, lets see to it he still gets a 'good deal' at renting a musty apartment for $1,300/Month. Well, like before, bills come-a-knocking. Utilities of electricity, internet, water rack up to a modest $200. Hes got some basic prepaid service plan for $50, nothing fancy, hes a savy guy. Hes gonna need more than rice and beans to keep up that life of high pay, but still manages to get groceries down to $100/Week. $400/Month. Now, mind you that includes sales tax, so its less than what may come to mind! This guy is not getting a room that cheap in an area where he wouldn't also need a car, lets use some reason here. But hes savy as they come baby. He blew his savings for that $8,000 2003 Corolla. Insurance is pecking at him for $120/month, could be worse. Now, we've reached a point where he now has less than $300 across the month to fulfill: Medical Co-Pays, Auto Maintenance, Gasoline, Any form of eating out/entertainment, All clothing, Furniture, A phone, A computer, Student loans, credit cards, emergency health services, haircuts, and everything else that life demands of us even without a kid.
It would be nothing short of remarkable for this individual who is financially independent to save $10/month. Working 40 hours/week is exhausting too, doesnt leave much time for taking care of things yourself, which can be costly too.

So, $20/hour, at relatively low costs of living, isn't anything sustainable long term. Sure are alot of people on Reddit who claim "I make this and Im independent and Im fine!" Im sure their story of pulling up their bootstraps by themselves and maintaining any dignity of life are more so part of a narrative they hold; rather than real-world finance.
Call it all bullshit if you want. I go by the numbers. Job or no job, you're not in a fairy tale. You're in a loose labor market, where fiduciary duty to shareholders/company agents are law. Not owed to you, but to the investors/company agents. I haven't even touched on the fucked up realm of costs and income when having a kid is involved, a health condition, care taking, or any other situation which can wreck everything. SaaS has been offsetting jobs for a decade, AI is too, and there is not homogeneous opportunity across the US.
Its incredible to me, how unaware so many people are. They can't be bothered to comprehend that the majority of problems for people in the U.S. stem from inequity and lack of money. The mental health implications of having to accommodate the need for money to survive and stay out of prison, and the mental health implications from people who internalize these things as if it was their fault. As if they were born as the problem. As if their emotions and life were wrong and despicable. So much of posts here can be attributed to a lack of resources and the implications of it. Resources are sent to the dumpster en masse, not because they are truly unusable, but solely so that we cannot have it, without handing over enough money. Buried in the earth, just to make damn sure, those people dont get em.
So, before you even *suggest* that someone isn't trying, isn't worthy, doesn't care, because of not having a job, not having their own place, not having their own car, not getting the healthcare they need, not being able to afford participation in things, or even afford being a parent... Remember. You're more than likely, calculably wrong. And promoting the internalization of capitalism and the moral construct of poverty. You would fit right in, with the category of scum in society, what keeps it so horrible, and what holds humanity back.

2023.03.22 05:29 2forgetmenot Am I (27f) being taken advantage of financially by my bf (25m)

So let me start off by saying I have a good job and make decent money on my own. I’m financially independent and stable. I have my own apartment that I fully pay rent for by myself and have a fully paid off car I own. I work extremely hard for my paycheck though, my job is in healthcare and it’s stressful. I went through a lot of schooling to be successful and I don’t have any debt. By bf on the other hand is unemployed, doesn’t have health insurance, didn’t go to college, lives rent free between my place and his brothers house, and scrapes by though illegal activity and side jobs. And he just got out of seven months in jail. We’ve only been together for 1.5 years.
He eats my food, I pay whenever we go out to dinner, I took him on an expensive vacation to NYC last year and paid for everything out of the goodness of my heart. I fully supported him when he was locked up by paying his car bills and putting money on his account so he could buy commissary. We both agreed he would pay me back for the car payments.
Anyway he had to get some teeth pulled when he got out of jail cuz he had a cavity. He doesn’t have health insurance so he couldn’t afford it so he asked me to pay. It was hundreds of dollars on top of what he already owed me for paying his car payments. So I said no. I figured he could get a job and save up and pay for it himself so he wouldn’t owe me even more money. Well he threw an absolute fit and blocked me and packed his things and moved out. He guilt tripped me by talking about how painful his teeth were and said this is what partners are supposed to do for each other. He called me a selfish b**** and told me to kill myself and said his ex would’ve done this for him. I reminded him of everything I’ve already done for him and I didnt want him to have to owe me more money. Plus he’s never done anything for me and he said thats because I’ve never needed him cuz I’m financially secure but if I ever needed him to he would do the same for me. I caved in and gave him the money.
Was I being stingy and selfish and heartless by saying no originally even though it was for surgery for his teeth, or is he taking advantage of me? I wouldn’t have hesitated so much if I hadn’t done so much for him already financially with nothing in return. I’m kinda old fashioned in that I think that the man should provide for the women or at least split everything equally but I am the one providing for him.
He has even suggested that I start an onlyfans that he will promote and take pics of me for and we would split the profit 50/50 so he can make extra money to pay me back. That’s seems unfair though since it’s my body and I’d be doing most of the work being the model yet he wants to split the profit equally.
TL;DR is my bf using me financially because he is unemployed because he just got out of jail and asks me to pay for everything and borrows money from me often while promising to pay me back but so far hasn’t? Should I break up with him over this?

2023.03.22 05:00 babou89 [CA] Medical facility emailed my patient info to wrong recipient

I received a letter from a medical facility I recently visited that informed me that they emailed a unintended recipient the following information: my name, medical record number, date of birth, home address, phone number, email address, prior appointment information, and dollar amount of a medical bill I received. That seems to me pretty serious that my private medical info (and more) is out there. I’m afraid it might be used against me, to impersonate me or who knows what… Is it breaking HIPAA law? Would I be entitled to any form of compensation? How much and if so, how should I proceed? Thanks for your guys advice!!

2023.03.22 04:30 abestos_fever Extremely negative experience with capital one today, need advice for rectification

TLDR: credit company sends an offer with 0% chance of being accepted, hard check on account, no help.
So for starters I’ll list the underlying info that will help this story. I am a 21 y/o male in college with a CS of 670, I’ve got a few student loans on my acc but that’s it.
Last month I got an offer for the capital one platinum card. I know it’s not the sexiest card but I am trying to build some credit seeing that I am getting married next year. Basically I am using the card to buy gas throughout the month and then I’ll pay it off before the due date. Never missed a payment or had anything negative against my credit score.
Last week in the mail I got a “pre-qualified” offer for the quicksilver card. I looked at it read all the terms and decided to apply. I got denied and was confused at first but not mad AT ALL. I am genuinely a calm person, and I was more curious than anything about why I was declined. I read the sheet and none of the reasons listed as to why applied to me. Yesterday I got the email for the reason “Based on your application information, there is a currently pending or recently processed application with Capital One.” I automatically think that there must have been an issue on their end because the reasons for denial on the offer letter I received stated that if I have applied for 2 or more in the last 30 days. I had only applied for 1 card in the last 30 days so I called them today to get some clarification.
Again, I am calm a level headed going into the call. Not even kind of mad, I assume it was just a mistake. So I call them explain what happened to the lady and she explains to me that I can only be approved for a card once every 6 months. Now I start to get a little upset, I tell her that no where on the letter did it say this, and that it only said 2 or more in the last 30 days. I am not mad that I got denied, I am mad that I wasted a check on my credit when there was a 0% chance I could’ve gotten the card. She starts talking in circles, and eventually I am like well what are y’all going to do to rectify this. And she’s asking me “well what solution do I want?” And again after talking in circles I say to her that “I don’t know what solutions y’all offer, I am not the one who works at the credit card company who knows what y’all can and can’t do.” She then says that she will transfer me to a supervisor, but my break at work was ending so I told her that they would have to call me back later when I was off. She tells me they can’t call us, but that I can call later and immediately request a supervisor. I hang up and go about my day. I’ve worked in customer service throughout HS and even now as I finish college, so I tried to not be rude to her, but when she was purposefully talking in circles I definitely let a few fucks fly. More as emphasis than as an insult.
Now that I am off of work I called and immediately request a supervisor as I was told. This lady tries giving me the run around (now I have no patience for it) and when she is trying to ask me about why I’m calling I tell her I’m not going in circles again, just transfer me. After she asks me what felt like 1000000 verification questions I get put on hold for a few minutes and then speak to the supervisor.
I start talking to bill and I’m explaining what happened about how they sent me an offer that they knew would be instantly declined because of their policy and that now I have a hard check on my credit because they gave me incomplete information. I’m very annoyed at this point and I explain it to him like I explained it to the First Lady the 5th time and to be honest it was like talking to a 5 year old. He starts telling me that being denied is normal and that it is normal to be upset when it happens. But I tell him, I am not mad that I got declined I am mad that they basically set me up for failure because of their policy. He states that it’s not their fault that i applied (true) but that it’s what happens with credit cards. I again explain it to him like I would a toddler and he says that it’s a matter of perspective because I said “I feel like y’all set me up” and I cut him off saying that this isn’t my perspective your perspective, it’s the fact that you sent me an offer one month after sending me a different offer that was approved when it was impossible for me to be approved. He comes back with how people get approved and denied all the time for different reasons and that it wasn’t guaranteed I was going to be declined when I then quoted their policy that you WILL be denied if you apply for a different card within 6 months. Then he set me the fuck off lol, I was stern and clearly upset at this point, but then when I take a second from talking he starts saying “well people make choices…” and I said “don’t you fucking blame this on Me” and he starts I wasn’t going to blame you blah blah blah and this shit goes back and forth. I explain it one last time in the slowest, most clear way possible that they sent me an offer in February, I got accepted, and then a month later when it was impossible, literally a 0% chance of approval I get an offer for a better card and that they wasted a check on my credit because of it. Eventually I get to the point where he is useless so I basically tell him that on April 11th im paying off my card and then canceling it. And that I know it won’t impact y’all who bring in millions and billions of dollars, but just because I don’t matter doesn’t mean you can screw over the little guy. I told him that I know he is not the one who sent out both letters, and that I’m largely not mad at him, but that y’all need to fix this. Because wasting hard checks for people is ridiculous.
So will all that in mind, I get home tonight and realize that I can’t cancel and get a new card. Because I used up my two checks, and I need that extra one when I apply for housing next year when I graduate and get married. So yea I’m stuck with these jerks, but aside from getting that off my chest, do y’all know of any way to remedy this or am I just screwed? At the end of the day it’s not the end of the world because the check next year for housing won’t mess with my score too much, but it’s still extremely frustrating. Oh I could obviously tell he was talking down to me because I was a young college student. I get that I’m not the oldest/wisest and that I’m new to the credit card game. But he was talking down to me like I haven’t managed people, or been a head coach for a public school football team. And I know he doesn’t know that, but I am not some dumb college student who is clueless.

2023.03.22 04:15 writetherapy2 Private practice pay?

When I received my new job I never got a full run down of payment and when it’s briefly explained I’m super confused.. can someone explain private practice pay in dummy language? I know I get 55% due to the receptionist/billing cuts. I also get 55% of clients co pays if they have them and the cancellation fee of 60. How does it work with insurance? Do I get what they don’t cover? I know my average is around 48 dollars a client but if someone could break it down for me and let me know if this is a good or bad start I’d be very grateful!!!

2023.03.22 03:55 IllestAndRealest In high school computers class, a kid left his wallet so I destroyed it and took his best buy gift card

Hello friends. I feel shitty about this and I don't even know the kids name to try to reach out, apologize, and reimburse. So I had computers class in 8th period in high school. One day, I noticed a kid from the previous period had left his wallet on the computer I was at. He didn't really have anything in it except a $25 best buy gift card. Everything else in that wallet (and the wallet itself) got ripped apart with my bare hands and left on the desk, and I went and bought some cd's or something at best buy that night. My logic was "what a fucking moron for leaving your wallet here, you deserve this".
Around the time I redeemed his gift card, I felt bad. The computer teacher asked me the next day if I knew anything about that wallet and of course I denied it.
Idk why I'd do that. I feel like an asshole about it and I will literally never be able to find out who that was so I can apologize and reimburse. I have a crisp hundred dollar bill for that kid if I ever find out who he is.

2023.03.22 03:46 Ok-Examination4961 Putting Extra on the House Strategies

TLDR; Increase in student stipend leaves me with 5-700 a month extra. I am terrified of losing my home due to childhood trauma. I want to pay it down fast (which I know, not smartest thing to do) and be the first in my family to own their house. What is the max I can allocate to extra payments without putting myself in a tough spot?
I net about $2,900 a month compared to my previous student stipend of $1,800. I was cutting it just even with about $50-75 left over prior to the raise to $2,900. We do not get ANY benefits as students (401k, PTO, etc).
After making some moderate adjustments to what I am paying on debt (house, car), I should still have about $700 left over each month after all bills are considered. In October I will get another raise from my funding source and will have $1,000 left over each month. I will have raises every six months until reaching the max level which will put me at $1,400 left over each month right before graduation. I realize this is a super fortunate situation and am grateful for the external funding opportunity.
To make my student stipend work, I bought a house as mortgages are much cheaper than apartments near my school. (For any students reading this, my keys-in-hands costs were less than 10k). My PITI is about $600. In the fall I overpaid by $100 ($700 total) and was on track to pay off my house in 23 years. After getting the raise I increased payment on my house to $200 extra ($800 total) to pay off in 17. Basically for every $100 extra added my current arrangement, I will shave another 2-3 years off the mortgage until I hit $500 extra. Obviously the returns become frustratingly smaller with each dollar added to an extra payment once about $500 extra is hit. People not owning their houses in my family resulted in some really crummy situations, so actually owning my house means a lot to me as I would always have a home-base. I also would like to buy a second house when I graduate and rent out my current house if possible, so getting this current house to "cash neutral/positive" faster is attractive to me. If I live in this house prior graduating with my doctorate and obtaining a job, I will be frugal and pay it off the year I start working my post-degree job.
I also have really extensive extra insurance policies that lead me to not needing a large emergency fund, but I am working towards $5k in savings. A new roof, because my house is very small, would be less than $3k and thats the only item on my house that is not covered. My car has a great warranty as it is a car I bought new. I realize that a lot of folks would recommend investing or a high yield savings account instead, and I am definitely considering that but I would also like to hear tips for regular folk trying to buy multiple properties and weigh the pros/cons of paying things off ahead of schedule.

What You Get?
SIX CRITICAL REASONS WHY THIS IS DIFFERENTFROM REGULAR AFFILIATE MARKETING… or indeed, anything else…
The conversion rates are OFF THE CHARTS We spoke about this a little earlier, but one of the massive differences here is that you convert A LOT more people than you do with regular affiliate marketing. For instance, if you were promoting an ebook on golf let’s say, it converted at 3% and you got $15 in commissions per sale. For every 100 clicks, you make 3 sales x $15 = $45. With this system, you could be promoting a weight loss offer with a 20% conversion rate and a $50 commission per conversion. For the same 100 clicks, you make 20 sales x $50 = $1000. $45 vs $1000 – it’s a massive difference.
There are NO TRAFFIC ISSUES To begin with, you take advantage of a highly-effective source of cheap trafficto reach people who are looking for the exact offers that you are promoting. Then when it comes to scaling up, you use secret sources of traffic (both paid AND free) that deliver instant traction and conversions.
There is NO CONTENT CREATION If you’ve done any sort of affiliate marketing before, you may know that one of the downsides is that you need to create a lot of content. You know the type of thing… In depth product reviews, comparisons and so forth which can be time consuming (or) expensive to outsource. With this model you hardly need to create any written content… only a handful of words, if any at all… and most of the time NONE at all.
You are building a VALUABLE ASSET One of the big advantages here is that even though you are generating leads for other companies, YOU are also capturing their details as well (quite legitimately). Not only does this mean you can follow up with them, sell them other offers and boost your income… it ALSO means you are building YOUR OWN list, and therefore creating a real business with potentially huge value that could be sold on for a lump sum later.
You could get very RAPID RESULTS There is no digital content creation involved here. You can pinpoint an offer, throw your landing page online and start driving traffic in as little as 60 minutes… maybe even less. This means you could start seeing results exceptionally fast.
You can DO THIS ON THE SIDE As this system requires very little time to start, and as little as 5 to 10 hours a week to run, depending on how fast you want to hit the ground running, you can continue to work your day-job or current online business (if you want to). You don’t have to modify your life or give anything up at all.
The 123 Profit Training Program that reveals how we generate thousands of dollars per day, and how those willing to take action could use the same system to go from ZERO… to $500/day… to $1000/day (and beyond) …then keep scaling up from there!
Let’s run through the EIGHT components of the 123 Profit training to show you how this all comes together and how YOU can take advantage of this incredible system…
The first component of the 123 Profit training is “Mission Control”… your dedicated, private members area.
The members area contains a series of 100+ clear and concise step-by-step videos that’ll show you exactly how to get set up and running with this system, even if you don’t have any prior experience.
The actual value of what you’ll receive here is huge and I could spend hours going through all the details of what’s included… but for now, here’s a top level overview…
The videos cover each step of the process in precise detail and we’ll also hand you a large number of strategy manuals, process maps and other content that you can refer to as you watch and learn. We cover literally everything… from getting started, to picking offers, to building your web pages, getting traffic…then how to hit your first sales and how to scale up from 4 to 5, even 6-figures per month. The training will be delivered directly by me and my team of experts, all of whom have successful businesses in this field… and it will be truly comprehensive.
Along with these videos, your Mission Control area will contain the recordings of the live sessions we’ll do (more on this in a second…)
…and you’ll also be able to access all the software, tools and support features from here as well.
This is literally just scratching the surface of what you will receive within Mission Control.. The training you’ll receive will be truly world-class.
Over the past decade we’ve taught tens of thousands of people how to build successful online businesses and one of the key predictors of success is if someone has direct access to myself and my team… In other words, if they have the ability to ask us questions at key stages as they build their online empire.
Having the ability to be able to chat and communicate with us directly is so critical… And that is why we are going to be holding MULTIPLE LIVE SESSIONS every single week as you progress through the training, so you can push forward and build up your business as quickly as possible.
Here are some more precise details and a taste of how this is going to work…
Firstly, we will be holding a live webinar each week where we’ll be presenting the core step that is the focus of that particular week. It will be super-detailed and we’ll also give you a series of action-steps, milestones and checkpoints that’ll allow you to successfully complete it. There will be an extensive Q&A at the end of this webinar in case you have any questions… although do note that if you need any additional clarification you can always refer back to the core videos in your Mission Control area – and use our support network. In addition to the live webinar, we’ll be holding MULTIPLE live Zoom calls each week which will also have live interaction and chat. You can hop on and ask us questions if you are stuck, and we’ll do our best to give you detailed analysis and advice on what to do and how to move forward.
Plus, these Zoom calls will also contain additional training, powerful and inspiring case-studies and much more.
All these live sessions will be held at a variety of times, so there will be a time that you can join no matter where you are in the world. …and like I mentioned, the recordings will be posted to your Mission Control area soon after the session has finished.
Basically, you’re going to get a MASSIVE boost by taking advantage of our experience, expertise and infrastructure with the EXACT same systems and techniques that WE use to generate thousands of dollars on a daily basis in our own business.
Now this is where it gets really exciting!
As you may know, having a real-life case-study to refer to as you are building your business is extremely useful (to say the least) and we are going to hand you something that we KNOW will accelerate the success of your business at lightning speed.
You’re going to get access to a case-study document (and an additional video series) that shows you EXACTLY how we generated $50,681 in just 50 days using this incredible system.
And when I say exactly… I really mean it.
Literally EVERYTHING will be revealed with no stone unturned.
And do you know what the most exciting part of this is…?
You can get access to the DOCUMENT part of the case-study in literally 60 seconds from now.
That’s right… as soon as you join us today, register your account and log into your Mission Control area, you will see the secret document right there in front of you…with EVERYTHING revealed inside.
The video series which will accompany this document will be released as we progress with the training, but you WILL get all the insider-information straight away… like RIGHT NOW.
Put it this way, if you ever wanted a sneak-peek into a million dollar online business… this is basically as good as it gets!
It is ABSOLUTE GOLD DUST!
We talked about the Profit Suite a few minutes go, so rather than repeat everything here, let’s just quickly sum up each of the three main elements.
First, there’s THE MASTERLIST…
This is our vault of top paying offers which you can get special access to, if you join our inner-circle today. To sum it it, you’ll…
Instantly get access to top offers with automatic approval… Skip all the usual headaches when applying for a network account… And have a major headstart right from the get go!
Then there’s the PROFIT PHANTOM…
The Phantom is the “engine” that helps set up and run your business quietly behind the scenes… and will allow you to build your business at an ultra-rapid rate, even if you’re just starting out.
The Profit Phantom will allow you to…
Build high-converting landing pages and opt-in forms that turn traffic into profits. Dramatically increase the number of people who take action on the offers you send them. Create amazing looking pages without any coding or technical skills required. Drag and drop elements into your pages such as headlines, text content, images as well as customizable CTA buttons and drop-down lists. Use our done-for-you templates to accelerate the process and remove all the guesswork. Easily upload and manage your images and graphics inside your personal content library. Manage your business from an intuiative dashboard and reporting area. Either use our custom publishing solution for free… or upload your pages to your own domain.
And finally, there’s THE MAIL MACHINE…
The Mail Machine is an all-in-one email marketing system that has been built from the ground up by my team, specifically for this business model. Here’s what you can do with this ground-breaking tool-kit…
The main dashboard will enable you to see a detailed overview of your key metrics, things like growth rates, broadcasts, auto-emails sent out, and also sending stats. The broadcast builder will allow you to access to pre-formatted emails, which you can customize however you need. You’ll be able to set up automated email campaigns using an intelligent visual drag and drop campaign builder. You’ll be able to quickly build high-converting forms to capture important subscriber information, so you can turn your visitors into money. You’ll also get access to a vault of done-for-you “fill-in-the-blanks” email templatesthat we use in our business, saving you massive amounts of time (or thousands of dollars in copywriting fees). And you’ll be able to build out high-profit funnels fast and quickly WITHOUT having to write any sales copy at all.
This section of 123 Profit is all about Done-For-You templates, files, pages and content designed to achieve one thing… the speed in which you can succeed with this system!
We’re basically going to give you access to our private repository of content and let you copy the EXACT frameworks we use in our own business which will save you a HUGE amount of time.
…Plus, you’ll be safe in the knowledge that the content you are using is PROVEN to work and will be extremely effective at increasing your profits.
Here are some “top level” details…
Firstly, we’re going to hand you a vault of done-for-you “fill-in-the-blanks” email templates that we use in our business. These multi-niche email templates will allow you to build high-converting funnels quickly and easily, which will help you to hyper-boost your income. This will save you hundreds of hours of writing them yourself (or thousands of dollars in copywriting fees)…and you’ll be able to load them up, ready for action, with just a few clicks.
Then of course, like we covered a moment ago, you will have access to a large number of DONE-FOR-YOU landing pages which are proven to generate massive amounts of leads and sales.
…and that’s just the start. You’ll discover the FULL details on the inside.
This section of 123 Profit is focused on one thing and one thing only… scaling your business with million-dollar traffic and marketing strategies.
Scaling up can sometimes be tricky but we’re going to hand you our fool-proof plan that’ll allow you to super-boost your conversions and quickly reel in extra commissions.
In a nutshell, we’re going to be revealing all our in-house scaling secrets to help propel your business forward. Here’s how…
We’ll hand you step-by-step action plans that could get you generating hundreds of extra dollars every day. We’ll show you how to take advantage of the major search engines to get your offers listed for the most profitable keywords WITHOUT having to do any SEO. You’ll discover how to take advantage of other ultra-targeted traffic sources that connect you with targeted groups of people who are specifically looking for the offers you’re promoting.
Plus, we’ll tell you how to set up simple but ultra-effective sales funnels with high-converting landing pages and retargeting strategies to double or even triple your sales with minimal effort. …and that’s just a start. By the end of this section of the training you’ll realize just how easy getting extra traffic, customers and cash can really be if you get motivated, get started and take action!
That’s right… as an inner-circle member, we’re also going to hand you a FREE all-access pass to “123 LIVE! …our annual online live event which will be held over an entire weekend (dates announced soon).
We expect this live event to be a huge success (as it has been in previous years) and will help propel your business forward. You’ll receive 2 days of exclusive live sessions, with insider tactics, secrets for tripling your profits, amazing case-studies, awe-inspiriing success stories and much, much more!
At the event you’ll hear from…
A host of expert speakers (some of whom make up to $10 million a year) about how they achieved their success and the methods they used to get where they are today. Industry-leading authorities who will share techniques and methods they use on a daily basis to generate tens of thousands of dollars in commissions each month. Successful BETA-students who have used our training to overcome common roadblocks and obstacles and have subsequently created life-changing online businesses.

…and there is much more! We’ll be letting insiders know the full details and the line up inside the Mission Control area.
So let’s recap on a number of key points, just before you get started…
This is a proven, streamlined earning machine that only involves 3 core steps. You don’t have to sell anything to anybody. The profit potential is HUGE (you’ve seen the insane conversion rates). The websites are SIMPLE and contain as little as 27 words. There are no barriers to entry or complicated technical hurdles to overcome. The profit margins are high so you make great money for each conversion. 2023.03.22 02:19 unexpected_dreams [WP]Walking into a flower shop and slamming down money on the counter, "How do i passively aggressively say fuck you in flower"

"Sir this is a Home Depot. We only sell potted plants and seeds." I frown, look down at counter, frown some more, and return my gaze to his face.
"My offer still stands." He slaps the fat stack of bills on the table. "Fucker."
"Hey, that was uncalled for." I say, "Do you want my help or not?"
He sighs, "Sorry, rough day. So? How do I passively aggressively say FUCK YOU in flower. Not that I was saying FUCK YOU to you, I just need to say FUCK YOU to enunciate that FUCK YOU is the message I need to convey to the person who is not you."
My lips purse into a line. "If your goal is to confuse me as to whether or not I should be offended, you've succeeded."
"WELL?"
"Uh, I'm just a cashier, but I guess something with lots of thorns, a rose?"
"Thanks." The man walks away and I return to staring at the wall. It's 7pm. Just one more hour of watching paint dry.
"Hey."
I look up, it's that man again. His scruffy, unkept hair sways energetically as he pounds the large pot of roses onto the counter. It shatters.
"Uh. You're going to have to pay for that." I scratch my head. "Sir."
"Damn right I will." He sprays one dollar bills at me like a printer playing 52 pickup. The leaf green slips settle in an unorganized mess across the several pounds of dirt covering the counter and floor.
"Have a good day, Mr. Not a Fucker." The man throws the last of the bills into the air and leaves the building without even bothering to take the flower he just bought.
I turn to Emma, who is standing next to me holding her sides and shaking silently, suppressing what I assume to be a laugh. I frown some more. This has got the be the oddest shift I've ever been on.
"So... what the hell was that about?" I say when she finally composes herself.
"That guy has been trying to get my number all week, I told him you were my boyfriend 5 minutes ago." She smiles, I kind of expected something to happen, but not this.
"That's... not nice of you."
"Eh, I figured you could handle yourself if anything happened, Mr. Star Judo Athlete." She punches me lightly in the side. Despite her small frame and my built stature, her bony knuckles drive a painful impression into my muscular fiber.
"You know I haven't been in a competition since college. I'm way out of practice."
"I... wouldn't mind some practice with you," She says with a soft smile, then looks away for some reason.
"Nah, our frames are too far apart, you'd be in a different weight class, wouldn't really be good practice." I shrug.
She punches me again, "Stupid."
"Yes yes," I sigh.
"So, uhm, do you want to try that new Sushi bar down the street with me after work..?" She kicks her feet lightly while sitting on the counter.
"Nah, I'm on a calorie controlled diet. I already have my dinner prepared at home."
She pouts, punches me again and stomps away. Did I do something to make her mad? Ah oh well, she'll get over it, it didn't seem like she was really mad. Back to watching paint dry.

2023.03.22 02:14 TheNova5 Doesn’t my boss have to pay for all hours worked, even if it wasn’t recorded?

Without giving too much detail I’m in WA. I have a co-worker who is a bit troublesome. He consistently shows up late and asks to leave early. Sometimes he just disappears all together. He used to call in when he didn’t work but now he won’t even say anything. I just found out that he didn’t have a single time punch last week. He didn’t get an override nor did he submit a time slip adjustment before the end of the week. I also found out that when he does submit adjustments he inflates his hours by submitting his scheduled hours not the time he actually shows up. I’m not supposed to know this but, I was told because he has no record of work, he is getting a check for zero dollars. Even though I personally witnessed him do work. Doesn’t the company have any type of obligation to find out how many hours he worked? This feels illegal. Plus it’s almost the end of the month I know he has bills to pay. He’s just a kid. He’s messing up. I can’t rely on him. But he still deserves to be paid for his work.

2023.03.22 02:12 dancingpineapples_ Advice as a newcomer

I am in desperate need of guidance. I began a new role less than a month ago where I was hired along with 2 others. We are all newcomers to this role (financial institution) and I learned im the least paid 😅 heart shattered
I recently graduated a program which included a 6 month internship at the company I was hired!! I have a strong background in customer service about 4 yrs. My colleague was a car dealer and the other was an at-home accountant. I feel hurt, indispensible, and betrayed. Aside frim previous experience in the field due to internship I have the farthest commute. I tried negiotating an extra dollar per hour before accepting the role and they were absolutely firm.
Come to learn my colleagues are starting at that extra dollar.
I understand they have more prior experience verus mine solely in customer service, however I imagined my internship would balance it out. I took the role because its at my dream company and a huge opportunity for growth, however all my bills and budget are extremely tight. I cant pick up a part time because its mon-sat full time. Im away for about 12hours daily (including the shift+ commuting). I should mention I cant leave the company until 2 yrs (for the 401k match to follow me)
Any advice towards this? Should I wait six months and ask for a payrate review? Based off your experience how should I approach this? Please help! I have no clue how to proceed. The commute is killing me and even an extra 1$ would help

2023.03.22 02:00 -reveler Was this Milgard in-swing patio door installed right?

I had 2 Milgard in-swing patio doors installed and both have the same issues. The contractor claims it is installed right, and there's no documentation I can find providing insight as to proper installation of the threshold and sill for this door. If it is installed right, how do I fix it? If it is not installed right, how do I explain to the contractor how to fix it?
The two issues I have are as follows:
  1. The underside of the door has no sweep. The installer claims the only "sweep" is the vinyl compression strip along the edge of the door sill.
  2. The door was installed on top of a multi-piece sill pan. The distance between the oak paneling of the door threshold and the sill pan is flush at the corners but about 3/8 inch in the center. More specifically, the sill pan lip curves. Ultimately, this is just plain ugly and invites all sorts of debris to get trapped.
  3. The sill pan lip sticks up above the tile flooring. Shouldn't it have been trimmed?
In addition, they didn't paint the oak piece, which is just dumb, but isn't a problem with installation per se.
Item 1 might be just the way the door is made. Seems weird and ugly with the gap but it does prevent water and air intrusion and meets the dollar bill test. Item 2 is where I think there's an actual problem. Item 3 just seems like sloppy/lazy finishing.

2023.03.22 00:56 Frost_Phoenix_ On the Subject of FNAF:SB...

On the Subject of FNAF:SB...
Does anyone else think it's weird that Bonnie just got scrapped?
Without going into the redundant discussion about supporting evidence for Bonnie's disappearance and who may or may not have been behind it and where he ended up (psych; this is a FNAF theory post, you know I'm going there), is there anyone else just kinda wondering why Bonnie was just...dumped by Fazbear Entertainment after years of using him? I kinda understand from a merchandising and new-fan-draw perspective that it shakes things up to create a new character and place him as the bassist in the band, but from a company monetary perspective?
"We have invested literally thousands, if not hundreds of thousands into this character. He is recognized by all fans and has huge brand recognizion attached to him. We have merchandise of him, we even have a bowling alley dedicated to him, he is one of the core four. Oh, he's wandered off and is completely AWOL with no clue where he's gone? Welp, time to start anew, cue up the next in the band roster, off we ride!"
It's called out how easy it is to repair a new character, a la angered Vanessa:
Vanessa Demonstrating Corporate Harassment
So why, why would you just abandon hundreds of thousands of dollars in robot development, marketing, advertisment, brand recognition, general ease of operation, because someone played too rough with Bonnie? I doubt they only had one casing set, and only a fool would have a singular copy of an AI programming (and Fazcorp may be dumb, but they aren't fools). Redoing Bonnie from the corporate perspective would've been a cinch.
(Yes, I am aware of AI sentience and the difficulty of replicating an individual person, but none of that matters to the execs because none of that really affects the bottom line unless stuff gets expensive.)
So to suddenly yank Bonnie with no explanation given to the general public OR to the front-line staff would've taken something fairly catastrophic.
Another Message to the Boss that Will go Completely Ignored
And note, we never hear of Bonnie being destroyed by Monty. There's no message that says that Bonnie was found in Gator Golf, just that he went missing in Gator Golf.
Just a Tad More Expensive than Losing your Phone
It's easy to assume that Monty - with documented anger issues, destructive tendancies, mountainous jealosy, and ambition - did away with Bonnie to make a spot for himself in the headliner band, but that only makes sense if Bonnie was irreplacable. He's not. Take a new endo, polish up a new casing, implant a copy of Bonnie's AI, and hey presto! Our favorite bowling bassist is back on the job! Monty's move makes sense from a human perspective, but these aren't humans. They're robots. Their parts are interchangable. Their intelligence is lines of code. AI sentience argument notwithstanding, it's easier on everyone (except Monty) to just rebuild Bonnie from "scratch" and keep rolling on like nothing weird's ever happened.
And yet, Bonnie's just pulled. He vanishes into Gator Golf, and the entire company gives up on him and embarks on a far more expensive rebranding project. Why?
I'd theorize it's got something to do with everybody's favorite asthmatic murder grandpa, Mr Willie "Comeback" Afton.
Take a look at u/SkyPieGuy1's post about Afton's model (This link right here, go upvote his awesome comparison).
Look at dem long smexy legs!
I'm very sure all of us have thought about where Crispy Boi Afton got his new bod from, and with no bunny in the Pizzaplex and the unlikelihood that the massive 165 degree fire in FNAF 6 would turn Scraptrap into anything but a molten pile of metal and singed guts, it's not a massive logical leap to assume that Vanny would pull Bonnie to the basement of the basement of the Pizzaplex. Afton is an ailurophile. (Gloriously Purple) Bonnie is literally right there for the taking. Possibly with some help from Monty, it's not hard to assume that she coulda knocked our best bunny boy out and refitted him to be the vessel of an immortal child murderer.
(Also as a weird sidenote, fire will not burn skeleton, so this
Bacon! Wait, wrong animal...
and this
Me After Finals
are perfectly acceptable to exist at the same time.)
But that leaves us with our orginal dilemma, you've lost a Bonnie. Just rebuild him. Something had to have happened with Bonnie for the company to freak out and decide that he was not worth the massive cost to rebrand and shove him under the rug.
Personally? I think it'd have to be something associated with Afton trying to go public. Maybe he tried to use his new body to start doing what he do and almost got caught when the batteries ran out. Maybe there is some hush-hush incident of "Glamrock Bonnie," scrapped and scuffed and looking like something that H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks spat back out due to indigestion, attempted to kidnap and/or kill someone. Maybe whoever got Vanessa into her job sept under the rug an incident report of a guard encountering something truly horrifying staggering toward them with the shell of a formerly beloved bassist.
For a company to just wipe all indication that a formerly public asset existed in the first place, the negative PR rammifications of an event would have to be insurmountable. Nightmare Fuel Former Boss rising from the ashes to continue his lifelong mission of Mass Amounts of Child Murder definitely fits the bill.
But that's just a theory...
