So... we just got done building and testing a new printable differential thrust wing design and I've been looking for a place to share it with like minded people. We learned a whole bunch of new tricks building this plane, such as custom infill embedding in cura, and new ways to attach parts, like dove tailed wings that just slide on and grip the body together. I have a 10’4 hardboard. It’s beautiful, fast, light, I love it. My apartment complex is spacious and nice, but it doesn’t quite fit in the elevator.
I take the stairwell, doors aren’t terribly hard, it’s the getting it through and not knocking the front or back on stuff.
Already chipped in twice… only on the back edge.

I passed network+ this morning with 749.
The multiple choice questions were very easy. I completed 74 multiple choice questions in 45 minutes.
I had 3 PBQs and used all of my remaining 45 minutes on the simulations. I ran out of time. BUT PASSED. There are some extremely well written threads with hyperlinks attached to excellent resources. I used Jason Dion course. His 6 practice tests. And links from other Reddit threads. I also bought (I think it’s called) Pearson IT Certification Network+ simulations. And let me tell you… for a sale price of $17 it was absolutely invaluable. So many simulations…. 1/3 probably outside the scope of what’s on the test but I highly recommend that ontop of whatever course you purchase.

I have a lot of trouble swallowing. Like, when I cook chicken thighs, it takes me a minimum of two hours to eat one, and even then my body basically doesn't feel like taking in anything else for awhile so it's super hard for me to get enough (or any) fiber during the day.
I recently hit on grinding lightly frozen chicken thighs and livers in a food processor with vegetables and making a meatloaf out of it. That was great, except it was very time-consuming, extraordinarily messy, and I'm still not convinced I got all the smears and spatters of gunk out of my kitchen even though I've cleaned it multiple times since.
I'd love to just use pre-ground meat -- mainly chicken and pork (and bison whenever it's on sale), but sometimes beef or lamb as well I guess. It feels like I'm constantly seeing recalls for ground meat though. I also have an autoimmune thing with my digestion, so I have to be really careful with food-borne illnesses and stuff like that.
If I cook everything to temp though, are those recalls something I have to worry about? I wish I had a dedicated grinder, or even a stand mixer I could get a grinder attachment for, but if I tried to buy that now I think I'd be murdered. The people I live with do not want me getting any more appliances, it's bad enough I have both a food processor and a blender (but the blender sucks tbh).
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hello all you SD friends. The title sums it up. I’m sure this is just another swing in the pendulum, but I thought I’d share anyway.
I’m still pretty green to this lifestyle. A few ticks past 4 months. I quit drinking for a million and a half reasons, but at the crux of it, the goal was to reconnect with myself. To create conditions that will nurture the growth of love, acceptance, respect, and security within myself, for myself and my reality.
The absence of alcohol awarded me the courage to clean out all my skeletons. I put my life as I knew it on the line for the sake of the truth, and I am very lucky to be on the other side of it with everything in-tact.
Yet I’m here today, and I am certain that, someday, a drink will enter my body. I don’t know if this will be next week or 20 years from now. I don’t know if it will be one drink or one thousand. And I’m simply sitting with the thought right now.
I have suffered from terrible tinnitus since I was 26, unrelated to hearing loss. A few drinks would allow me to not care so much about the pervasive ringing. At this point, I am back to square one with coping mechanisms for it. If there is any reason a drink would find it’s way past my lips, I would bet my soul it would be about tinnitus. If any of you guys have it, you understand how fucked up it can be.
I feel my grip is loosening. I am beginning to question more and more.
I go to an AA meeting roughly once a week. I am not committed, and am not working the steps. I tried, and I found the program isn’t a great fit for me and my goals. But I like to go for the people. I go to be around people who get it. I go when I feel like I need it, and I share when I want to share. However, I do not have the sense of being entirely welcome there because of this. I can tell when someone looks at me like I’m chopped liver with a side of bullshit.
One of my friends goes to these meetings, too. I find myself attending, trying to be more involved, and other things just to please them and others. It is diverting my attention away from my true “why”.
No one asked me to stop drinking. I was a closet drinker, and my choice to stop came as a surprise to those close to me. I have to remember that, despite others not being concerned about my drinking, I was terrified and at such a dark low. I am doing all of this for me. For that terrified, miserable young man.
I am at a plateau. I feel damned if I stay sober, and damned if I don’t. Either way, I’m still depressed, I’m still second-guessing, losing sight, but I’m still not drinking today. I’m simply sitting here with all of this. If I just sit with it, it can’t hurt me.
