It could be so easy. My (41 mtf) fiancée (42 f) is pretty trans-positive, caring, etc. I love her, she loves me. Yay! However, she is into men (to my knowledge exclusively), and I don't really consider myself one. Just, she doesn't know that yet (afaik) and I fail to be able to come out to her.
There are cases of relationships that survive a partner transitioning - but I've got no idea whether her "basic sexuality" (as in being into men /= into me) or our relationship is stronger, and the thought of losing her frightens me. A lot.
Currently, I'm hoping for the miracle situation that just triggers a situation that forces us into this discussion, best even in a way that it somehow provides a safe way to find out how she'll react.
I don't manage to utilize upcoming situations that might provide an entry point into a coming out discussion either. Latest example: Last night, I was kept awake all night by thoughts about the future of my presented gender and related issues. At some point this earlier morning, she woke up from me rolling around nervously, and pitied me for my currently flaring up allergies, wrongly (although also plausibly) assuming them to be the reason for my difficulties falling asleep. While they might as well could have been the reason, they weren't. I could have just have corrected here and bringing in the real reason - this would have been a better chance than many in the past. But I didn't. Somehow bringing my being trans up didn't leave my mouth. And so I'm just waiting for the next chance to not start the talk the next time...
I felt the need to write this down. I don't expect much help (hence "Vent" ) - if somehow someone knows a foolproof (and I seem to be good with the "fool" part of it) way to get the word out, feel free anyway... Who knows...

As a result the only pup has etiolated a lot. Lesson learned, but now I'm wondering the best way to proceed. Would it be a good idea to let this pup grow out a bit, then cut it and plant log style? My thinking is that this way I can have a new TBM long started without a weak/ugly skinny spot. That said, I've never seen a TBM long planted log style before. If for some reason that's a bad idea I'm sure I can find something else to do with the pup ;) Maybe worth mentioning I am growing in a 50/50 coco coir perlite mix, the stones are just a top dressing to keep out the fungus gnats (I was struggling with them for a while). Theres a lengthy backstory to all of this, so I’ll do my best to keep the post succinct and fill in information as needed.
‘03 325i, ~230k miles
In March, my car developed a bad misfire that appeared to correlate with staying at highway speeds over an extended period of time (+/- 45mins). I take it for maintenance quarterly, so handed it over to my mechanic to figure out. He changed all plugs and coils (which were due anyways), MAF sensor (I asked for this), oil change (also asked for this), and secondary air pump. It was throwing codes for SAS and misfires on multiple cylinders, so this all seems to match up. Had it back for two days, boom, same issue popped up. Same SAS code. He said it was the EGR valve, so I ordered this.
While waiting for the valve, I had a sudden no crank, no start. Towed it to him, he said it was the starter (and also spoke to a couple other mechanics who agreed as well). Pulled out everything, changed the starter and put a new gasket in the intake manifold, still no crank. Scanned it, threw a code for the EWS. This led to my car sitting for nearly two months while they tried to find someone to fix the computer issue.
I got it back two days ago, and it still has a misfire, albeit not one that impedes the driving ability. Scanned it again today, and here’s what I’m getting:
2883 - Mixture preparation, bank 2 mixture too lean 2882 - Mixture preparation, bank 1 mixture too lean 27C3 - Thermal oil level sensor 2761 - Secondary air system (same as the one previously “fixed”)
Oil level sensor has been ordered. At this point, the secondary air pump, EGR valve, and vacuum hose have been replaced. All are OEM. I’m concerned something with my intake manifold wasn’t put back together properly. When I asked what to do about the lean codes, I was told it “could be anything”. I’m incredibly new to all of this. From what I understand, a lean code means too much air is getting into the system? Where should I start looking? FWIW, the misfire isn’t happening under consistent conditions.
For the sake of productivity, no need to comment on how to deal with my (former) mechanic.

I need a new trailer for my SCAG Tiger Cat II by tomorrow. I have some jobs to complete that I can’t push. I’m thinking of just going cheaper and heading to tractor supply or Lowe’s to pick up something like the below. I know not the best quality, but I don’t travel far for my jobs, maybe 30 miles or so a few times a week. Will this get me through the next couple years, or are they complete garbage? Why would I want wood floors over metal mesh or vice versa? Thanks all!

My first post here. Thanks in advance. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a 18650 light on the smaller side with a rear tail button. Ideally middle to higher end, i need reliability, cant really go with some of the really cheap brands.
I am leaning towards the nitecore p18, i love the red mode, any one have experience with it? Any other suggestions.
Second best i found is the fenix ld30, however it doesn’t allow turbo or moonlight from the off position, which are two relatively common ui features i value highly, hence the p18 comes in first place.
Not a fan of the olight rear metal tail cap, just a personal thing so not into the baton or warrior mini.

I’m a Canadian who travels to the US A LOT.
I live in Windsor, so most my life growing up, my family and I would cross the border to go to Detroit to grocery shop, get gas, etc.
I’m also a gaming social media influencer and frequently attend gaming conventions/events in the US, but never for work. Always just to visit as I know people have been denied entry or banned for illegally working in the US.
This year I had been in the US for 4 months combined. The reason for this being because, I took ~ 5 months off work due to a medical problem that affects my life pretty poorly. As soon as my lease ended in Toronto, I moved in with my mom and decided to go to Dallas and hang with my friends (who all live in Dallas). As I was struggling with my autoimmune issue, I thought it’d be best for me to travel for a bit as I had a lot saved up and i’d rather spend my 5 months off work in a better environment (warmer weather, surrounded by friends, etc)
I left in December to Dallas, came back to Canada in January for 3 days because my mom was having surgery.
Went back to Dallas for 3 months and came back to Canada.
After being in Canada for 2 weeks, one of my friends visited me who lives in Dallas. I decided to go back to Dallas for another month with him as I had plans to attend a gaming event in 2 weeks anyways.
My mom drove us over the Windsor-Detroit border where they questioned us. They asked my relation to my friend, why I was traveling with him, if I was employed. I told them I was on a break from employment due to a health condition. I got sent into secondary.
At secondary, I got accused of mooching off my friend to which I said, I always pay for everything myself including my flight which they tried to ask if it was bought by him. I was ready to show proof but they did not let me.
They asked my ties to Canada and I told them I was born in Canada, my entire family lives in Canada and I own a home in Canada which I currently rent out to tenants as I moved in with my mom (literally down the street) when I was having health problems.
They said it was suspicious how I was going back and forth from Canada to US without a job and I told them about my savings and they didn’t seem to care about ANYTHING I said.
I get how me not being employed and traveling looks suspicious, but I have such a long history of traveling between the US and Canada that I never thought I’d have an issue.
After this, he told me I was not going to be allowed into the US, he confiscated my Nexus :( and gave me a checklist to bring back to prove my ties to Canada because he kept INSISTING I was trying to run away into the US and live there illegally. He told me to not try to enter again the next day because if I did, I’d be denied again.
I contacted a lawyer and he said there’s not much I can do except wait to cross for 6 months to a year. This simply is not possible for me because my family and I frequently shop in the US and fly from Detroit airport. Not to mention, all my friends live in the US and I had plans + tickets to attend gaming events.
What do I do from here? Is this going to be on my record forever? Will I forever have a hard time going into the US? Has anyone had a similar experience and how long did you wait until you go back in?
I’m so frightened because he started saying things like my passport is perma flagged and just being so so so rude to me. Took EVERYTHING out of me to not cry and keep it together.

My cat is an 8yo tabby. Found him in a park when he was 3 weeks old. We found out he's diabetic last October, but I can make him his insuline shots twice a day. I took him for a teeth cleaning 2 weeks ago, and the vet found a tumor (inductive odontogenic tumor). It's not really painful, but it really annoys him to the point he doesn't want to eat (even drink) anymore.
The vet said that if we do nothing he will just stop eating. Or we could operate him and remove the bone of the jaw. This is a very invasive operation and the pets that undergo it are disfigured. After such an operation, some cats won't resume eating anyway. Some will live a few months or a couple of years longer.

The vet said that if we do nothing he will just stop eating. Or we could operate him and remove the bone of the jaw. This is a very invasive operation and the pets that undergo it are disfigured. After such an operation, some cats won't resume eating anyway. Some will live a few months or a couple of years longer.

TALLINN, Estonia - Belarus is introducing a visa-free travel arrangement with dozens of countries for a month, raising fears that neighboring Poland and Lithuania might see a sudden increase in unauthorized migration.
The authoritarian president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a decree allowing citizens of 73 countries - including ones in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America - to travel to Belarus without a visa to attend an annual music festival he personally opens to promote his nation's global integration.

hi i failed my first year of college and have been on a gap year. i want the best for myself. i want to plan my future. i hate college. i'm an artist and musician. been unemployed since january. sometimes i'm fine but then i will have a really bad week of complete suicidal ideation. tried therapy it didnt help because i was in a good headspace so i dont think my therapist knew how to even help if i seemed fine. i dont want to keep failing. i do yoga daily, i workout, i try to paint and study music. i still get suicidal because i've fallen so far from the good place i was when i was 18 that i'm losing the will and the strength to dig myself out. i'm trying so hard to keep my head up. i know i need to move out because if i dont do college my mom will think im more of a fuck up then she probably sees me as. my bestfriend graduated and she compared me to her which is what triggered this recent spiral. i will probably be better in a few days because i dont self harm or anything i just lay in bed until i can fall asleep. anyways im scared for my future and that my dreams wont happen if i cant get better mentally.

WASHINGTON - The United States signed a trade agreement Thursday with Taiwan over opposition from China, which claims the self-ruled island democracy as part of its territory.

I’m a Canadian who travels to the US A LOT.
I live in Windsor, so most my life growing up, my family and I would cross the border to go to Detroit to grocery shop, get gas, etc.
I’m also a gaming social media influencer and frequently attend gaming conventions/events in the US, but never for work. Always just to visit as I know people have been denied entry or banned for illegally working in the US.
This year I had been in the US for 4 months combined. The reason for this being because, I took ~ 5 months off work due to a medical problem that affects my life pretty poorly. As soon as my lease ended in Toronto, I moved in with my mom and decided to go to Dallas and hang with my friends (who all live in Dallas). As I was struggling with my autoimmune issue, I thought it’d be best for me to travel for a bit as I had a lot saved up and i’d rather spend my 5 months off work in a better environment (warmer weather, surrounded by friends, etc)
I left in December to Dallas, came back to Canada in January for 3 days because my mom was having surgery.
Went back to Dallas for 3 months and came back to Canada.
After being in Canada for 2 weeks, one of my friends visited me who lives in Dallas. I decided to go back to Dallas for another month with him as I had plans to attend a gaming event in 2 weeks anyways.
My mom drove us over the Windsor-Detroit border where they questioned us. They asked my relation to my friend, why I was traveling with him, if I was employed. I told them I was on a break from employment due to a health condition. I got sent into secondary.
At secondary, I got accused of mooching off my friend to which I said, I always pay for everything myself including my flight which they tried to ask if it was bought by him. I was ready to show proof but they did not let me.
They asked my ties to Canada and I told them I was born in Canada, my entire family lives in Canada and I own a home in Canada which I currently rent out to tenants as I moved in with my mom (literally down the street) when I was having health problems.
They said it was suspicious how I was going back and forth from Canada to US without a job and I told them about my savings and they didn’t seem to care about ANYTHING I said.
I get how me not being employed and traveling looks suspicious, but I have such a long history of traveling between the US and Canada that I never thought I’d have an issue.
After this, he told me I was not going to be allowed into the US, he confiscated my Nexus :( and gave me a checklist to bring back to prove my ties to Canada because he kept INSISTING I was trying to run away into the US and live there illegally. He told me to not try to enter again the next day because if I did, I’d be denied again.
I contacted a lawyer and he said there’s not much I can do except wait to cross for 6 months to a year. This simply is not possible for me because my family and I frequently shop in the US and fly from Detroit airport. Not to mention, all my friends live in the US and I had plans + tickets to attend gaming events.
What do I do from here? Is this going to be on my record forever? Will I forever have a hard time going into the US? Has anyone had a similar experience and how long did you wait until you go back in?
I’m so frightened because he started saying things like my passport is perma flagged and just being so so so rude to me. Took EVERYTHING out of me to not cry and keep it together.

After being in Canada for 2 weeks, one of my friends visited me who lives in Dallas. I decided to go back to Dallas for another month with him as I had plans to attend a gaming event in 2 weeks anyways.
My mom drove us over the Windsor-Detroit border where they questioned us. They asked my relation to my friend, why I was traveling with him, if I was employed. I told them I was on a break from employment due to a health condition. I got sent into secondary.
At secondary, I got accused of mooching off my friend to which I said, I always pay for everything myself including my flight which they tried to ask if it was bought by him. I was ready to show proof but they did not let me.
They asked my ties to Canada and I told them I was born in Canada, my entire family lives in Canada and I own a home in Canada which I currently rent out to tenants as I moved in with my mom (literally down the street) when I was having health problems.
They said it was suspicious how I was going back and forth from Canada to US without a job and I told them about my savings and they didn’t seem to care about ANYTHING I said.
I get how me not being employed and traveling looks suspicious, but I have such a long history of traveling between the US and Canada that I never thought I’d have an issue.
After this, he told me I was not going to be allowed into the US, he confiscated my Nexus :( and gave me a checklist to bring back to prove my ties to Canada because he kept INSISTING I was trying to run away into the US and live there illegally. He told me to not try to enter again the next day because if I did, I’d be denied again.
I contacted a lawyer and he said there’s not much I can do except wait to cross for 6 months to a year. This simply is not possible for me because my family and I frequently shop in the US and fly from Detroit airport. Not to mention, all my friends live in the US and I had plans + tickets to attend gaming events.
What do I do from here? Is this going to be on my record forever? Will I forever have a hard time going into the US? Has anyone had a similar experience and how long did you wait until you go back in?
I’m so frightened because he started saying things like my passport is perma flagged and just being so so so rude to me. Took EVERYTHING out of me to not cry and keep it together.

Russia's spending remains opaque, but its war budget is about 3% of GDP. By comparison, the Soviet Union spent 61% of GDP in World War II. Russia's invasion of Ukraine has come at a steep geopolitical price and tens of thousands of people have died, but a new analysis by the Economist suggests the country is actually spending a small amount on the war effort.
The direct fiscal cost of the war - spending on soldiers and machines - is estimated to be about 3% of Russia's GDP, or roughly $67 billion a year, according to the report.
The Soviet Union during World War II, for example, spent about 61% of GDP, and the US at the same time put about 50% of its GDP toward the conflict.
3% is substantially higher than the 0.4% of GDP the Soviet Union spent on its war on Afghanistan.
One reason for the relatively low spending on Ukraine is political, as the government has repeatedly called the war a "Special military operation," which could preclude using an exorbitant percentage of the GDP. There are also economic reasons.
Printing additional cash to fund the war would push inflation higher and weigh on Russia's citizens.

Jokes aside, the best gift I could get is to find someone worth talking to, with the intent of being in a relationship with. Someone who understands that conversation, loyalty, and affection isn't supposed to be one sided.
I crave a human connection, but there are only fakes on dating sites, and honestly I'm not sure this is working out any better...but I'm trying to remain hopeful.
I'm not looking for perfection, looks or otherwise, because I'm very far from perfect. I still live at home and I have twins who are 8.
I'm tired of the same old options in this "choose your own adventure" book, so I'm taking my pen and scribbling in a new adventure...one I've been ready for, for a long time now.
I want a clingy lady who actually wants to hear from me, and is actually interested to get to know me. Someone who is as happy going out to bowl and seeing which one of us is worse, as she would be staying in and cuddling together. Someone who would be as happy on a walk in the woods with me as she would be playing video games together.
I guess I'm looking for a companion through life, and I'll post this and tweak this as many times as necessary until us hopeless romantics find each other. ❤
